    Mixed Ceviche

Ceviche did not have enough lime or seafood. Arroz con mariscos had no flavor. It seemed like they just got yellow rice and threw some shrimp and clams on top. Gave me a stomach ache.

Make yourself a favor and don't spend money on this "Peruvian" restaurant. Worst ceviche I've ever tried. It just taste like it's been seated there for days. Additionally, I order thru Uber Eats, I asked for a Chupe de Mariscos and they just sent Chaufa de Mariscos, I called and they said I have to pick this up.

Whole fried snapper, rice, plantains, and yucca.

Mr. Fish never disappoints. I've been here several times now, one time there was a singer serenading the crowd (LOL). The wait is never too long. The food is always great, consistent quality. I love the small atmosphere. Great family restaurant.

Appreciated the prompt, friendly greeting. Understandably, the usual store display was empty, but still served quality, fresh fish. Ordered whole fried snapper and seafood soup which contained lots of seafood. Everything was delicious. Almost perfect with exception that white rice had a number of undercooked grains of rice. Shared soup with family member, next time will get two orders. Takeout order placed on arrival was ready quickly.

Good food - A man and woman pose for a selfie in front of a fish market display with images of fish and seafood.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE how hole in the wall, mom and pop feel that they have! There's a few tables inside and you can see into the kitchen as you are literally ordering the food. They have a seafood case next to the register so you know everything is fresh! I always get the ceviche! It is my top pick and the portion is huge for only $12! I feel like it's for about 2 people and they have a great acidity to cilantro to onion ratio which I feel most places lack. I also recommend the arroz con mariscos! So it's basically yellow rice with stir fried seafood with it. It's sooo good and addicting and I believe better than the fried rice due to the sauce that they make with it. The portion is huge for this dish too! It was $18 but I had to share it with 2 other people to finish it.

BEST BEST BEST BEST... ohh my gosh it's so amazing the texture and the taste is just to die for . It wasn't busy in the afternoon ,the owner was very nice and very professional. Compliments to the chef best dish ever !!

Came here for the 1st time after reading such great reviews. They did not disappoint! We started with the mixed seafood ceviche, spicy. It was PERFECT. Perfectly spiced and tangy, with fresh seafood. We also got the beef chaufa (not pictured) and the whole fried snapper. The food was fresh and well seasoned. The plate of fish was HUGE, the picture really doesn't do it justice. Fish so big it could easily feed 3 people. We will definitely be back.

This is my first visit to Mr. Fish, for the price and value and I am impressed. Mr. Fish is a nice casual restaurant to hang out with friends after a long day at work while pounding down a couple of beers. My go to place for "high end" Peruvian cuisine is still Ceviche 105 in Miami for its presentation and quality but Mr. Fish provides a different atmosphere that's more relaxed. I had the Mix Seafood Ceviche and I was pretty good, my only complaint with it is that they used imitation krab instead of the real thing but hey, you get what you pay for.

    Excellent!!! Loved every bite.

Excellent!!! So glad we discovered this great place. Super service, great quality fresh fish, oversized portions. So much food! We'll definitely be back. My only suggestion...add a fried fish filet sandwich to the menu. The option of a smaller menu item would be perfect!!

Seafood ceviche, request it super super hot!

Hidden gem...great seafood.....if you love Peruvian food please come and visit this place. You won't be disappointed because everything is great, including the chef who is very friendly and he can cook the fish base on how you want it. They love fresh seafood daily...

I wasn't really expecting much when I ordered their conchas negras .(which is my favorite ceviches) .. most other places give you small servings, but not theirs.. not only was the portion actual meal size.. It was really good and it helped me with my hangover problem ... I will be going back .. even if I am not hungover !!

    Perfect Red Snapper!

Had the Red Snapper and it was as good as it gets! I can't believe this is so close to our house and we never tried it. I might just become a regular!

My husband ordered a "margarita" and after tasting it we realized it wasn't actually tequila but priced like there was. Service was rather slow for a restaurant with higher end menu items. The server came by only a few times during our meal and at one point I felt like he forgot we were there even though he kept passing by us. We would have ordered more food but his lack of attention made up decide to not try anything else. I joked with my husband that "we live here now" because we sat at the table with empty plates and drinks for nearly 25 min before my husband had to flag down the waiter for the check. I feel like this place has so much potential because the food was good but unfortunately it was a huge miss for us.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and modern. We celebrated our friend's birthday dinner and everyone loved their food. I shared the Huancaina fettuccine and the Teriyaki Entraña Sushi roll. Both were phenomenal and I would go as far as to say this is one of my favorite sushi rolls of all time. I also think theirs is the best huancaina sauce I've had due to a cheesy profile that it has (and I am a cheese lover). We also had a Maracuyá Pisco Sour, which was beautifully presented and the perfect balance of flavors. You could definitely taste the Pisco, but it was not too strong. Our service was also phenomenal. Our server checked on us often and was very friendly. While the prices are a little high, the quality and flavors make it worthwhile. I definitely will be back and highly recommend for Peruvian / Nikkei food lovers like myself.

We visited Mancora for dinner and enjoyed several items. As an appetizer, we started with the Chorros à la Chalaca which are one of my favorites. They came fully loaded with all of the toppings! Would gladly order these again. As entrees, we ordered the classic ceviche, tacos, Seafood tacu tacu, and lomo saltado. Everything was delicious. I was very impressed by the sauce on the Tacu Tacu and will consider ordering that as my entree in the future. The tacos were my entree and I found them to be very well portioned in terms of filling and the flavors were phenomenal, especially with the accompanying sauces. Perhaps the best part of the meal was our dessert - picarones! Our waiter did warn us that they are not exactly like "traditional" Peruvian picarones, but they are so delicious nonetheless. They come out freshly made and warm with plenty of syrup. They also have delicious pisco sours and offer Inca cola! In terms of seating, the restaurant is very large, so there is always space available. The service was very attentive and food came out in a very reasonable timeframe. I look forward to returning to reorder some of our items (like the picarones) as well as to try out other items on the menu! Highly recommend to any Peruvian food lover.

Our friend is well-heeled, however, humble. We passed this restaurant on numerous occasions. Although it had an inviting outward appearance for a Chinese restaurant, we assumed it was another run-of-the-mill establishment. We were so wrong! Once inside, the Chinese theme and décor are powerful, yet subdued. Enough seating for lunch crowds or evening dining with families. We were the first to arrived, and received a pleasant greeting. Not only that, once we received our orders [in a very timely manner], we received help putting it into a carry bag for safer travel so as to prevent the contents from spilling. Although pricey, the food was worth every dollar and cent! Portions were far from skimpy. It took three days to finish the Pollo Chijaukay! The same with the Chaufa! The only thing that could've finished in a day was the Hot and Sour soup. So definitely no gripe about sizing. We definitely will return to either revisit the same items, or try new ones. Btw, the menus on the tables were in Spanish. There are other menus in English. You can view them up front at the order counter. If you are a fan of Peruvian food or Chinese food [our friend mentioned the heavy Chinese influence in Peru], this is your place! Get both together under one roof, fusion style! Chifa Tay Pa.
