Perhaps the best part of the meal was our dessert - picarones! Our waiter did warn us that they are not exactly like "traditional" Peruvian picarones, but they are so delicious nonetheless. They come out freshly made and warm with plenty of syrup. They also have delicious pisco sours and offer Inca cola! In terms of seating, the restaurant is very large, so there is always space available. The service was very attentive and food came out in a very reasonable timeframe. Initially, I was unsure what to expect, but this place defies the typical Peruvian label. It reminds me more of a local hangout you'd find along the coast in Mazatlan, Mexico. They offer Corona beer by the bucket and feature live Norteño bands on select nights, complete with a cowboy in black leather. The menu boasts traditional Peruvian seafood dishes such as Chupe de Camaron--a rich, heavily seasoned seafood chowder--and steamed whole fish. They also offer a variety of fried seafood platters, raw bar selections, and ceviche options, including Chifa Saltado dishes. The seafood, prominently displayed, is exceptionally fresh. The house hot sauce is notably fiery, adding to the authentic experience. Despite billing itself as Peruvian, the chef is Ecuadorian, trained in Peruvian cuisine, attracting a diverse Latin American clientele, including Venezuelans and Mexicans. The lomo saltado had fresh, tender steak with a new kick in the sauce that was different but still delicious. The fettuccini a la huancaína with lomo was good too though the sauce was a little more watered down than what I am used to having. Still good! The fries were crisp and fresh. Overall it's a great little hole in the wall spot. Just keep in mind there are no restrooms. Enjoy

Service was great, friendly and fast. Food presentation 10/10. We ordered the lomo saltado which was really flavorful and tender. The octopus olive causa was a work of art. Flavor wise was ok not sure I liked the sauce they made the octopus. I'll give it an 8 and maybe try another one of their causas next time. Overall nice ambiance great place for a date night and to enjoy some tasty peruvian cuisine. I'll definitely come back.
