So this was actually my second time at Naori, and I brought my brother and my childhood best friend Tatiana because I wanted her to experience it too. I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. I went to this place on a Saturday evening thinking it was going to be good based on videos and reviews. They had a precise menu for the evening. Mostly everything was by reservation. They didn't have a very broad menu. I saw videos of online for karaoke but even the mic they were very selective in who they gave their mic too. My table was missed until I ask the waiter if the mic was for selective people. Which made me feel discriminated. I wouldn't recommend or will ever go back again. What a pleasant surprise! My son and I went for lunch and ordered off of the lunch menu which is brilliant. You have a choice of three dishes from many options. The food was outstanding. The lunch special is under $20 and the portion size is much larger than the picture shows as the bowl is quite deep. The fillet was so good; perfectly prepared with rice and vegetables that were delicious. The presentation was quite modern and lovely. The service was excellent, and the restaurant is brand new and beautiful on the inside. My only recommendation would be to add low-carb, light beer to their drink options. I cannot brag about this place enough. I cannot wait to come back. The food was absolutely delicious . the seafood on fire plate was out of this world . I had never seen or tasted anything like it , I could have ordered three more and had them all to myself , so so good!! The sauce it was in is what made the dish so tasty. I love the fact that you're able to order half rolls or a full roll so I was able to get half-and-half of two different ones and try two different roles on the menu. The staff was also very attentive and service was great. I have been anticipating the opening of Naori for years, since they put up their first sign when under construction. I finally had the chance to go recently and was pleasantly content with everything they had done to bring the restaurant inside to life. The design and layout and attention to detail is all beautiful. You can tell they care. While the staff was pretty friendly, I would say our waiter was very hard to reach throughout the night. We were a little dissatisfied in our service as we constantly had to ask for water, our drinks, and our check. The low point was especially when the meal I had ordered wasn't brought out, but instead a different meal entirely, and my husband had ingredients changed in his entree that we were not warned of when ordering. Besides that small chaos we were satisfied with the presentation, preparation, and actual taste of our choices! We first started out with a lychee sour and pineapple daiquiri. We loved our drinks and would come back just for the drinks alone. Exactly as expected. We did have an app or two to begin with. First we had the causa (with chicken) and then we chose the maki roll, Kamikase. The causa was a fun dish and very delicious with its main yellow potato and garlic base. Their sauce made it flavorful, even if the chicken was a bit dry. The maki roll was absolutely delicious! The rice was a bit dry as well but it didn't even matter because their spicy sauce was delicious and their tuna was fresh. I ordered the Poyoriki and my husband had the steak with green spaghetti. I enjoyed my ramen noodles, chicken, and veggies but the oyster and shoyu sauce were barely there as if it wasn't sautéed together. Everything still tasted great overall. My husband was disappointed that his entree was not green and did not have a pesto flavored as described and shown in pictures, but the steak was perfect. The steak alone made up for the whole dish. Literally cooked to perfection as asked. Overall this restaurant has so much to order from that there is something for everyone. We went to Naori around lunch time. As soon as we walked in we saw how clean and professional the establishment looked. We were promptly seated and had a few moments to look over the menu. Naori was a great experience but it was a mix bag of emotions for me and I'll shall tell you why. We went there on April 19, 2025. The service, the ambiance was very nice, friendly, and professional. The food quality was fantastic and portion sizes are generous. Here's what we ate: - Gyoza (fried) - delicious, the sauce that is paired with it is tasty, but very expense for gyoza it's like $16 for 6. It was a one time thing to try them at Naori. - Sushi (see pics) was absolutely delicious and fresh. Truly enjoyed them. - Ceviche - hands down delicious!! 10/10 truly loved this and highly recommend. It was fresh, tasty and large enough to share. - Lomo Saltado - this is the dish I was most excited about and on the flavor end of it was extremely disappointing. It was missing that traditional Peruvian Soy Sauce flavor which makes the Lomo Saltado what it is. However, everything on that plate was fresh and big portions but it just tasted like I had regular rice, steak and French fries. So for me this was my biggest disappointment. Now this could have been just an off night for Naori. I struggled between 3 stars because of this. Being a Peruvian restaurant I expected this main Peruvian dish to be a 10/10. Yelp doesn't allow half stars, but I think this review needs one. 3.5 stars! This new restaurant that took over the old spot that was held by an Italian eatery fuses Peruvian food with Japanese cuisine. My husband, daughter, and I were itching to try it and finally did on a Sunday after church. The decor is very modern and so are the table settings. We ordered the scallop nigiri expecting onigiri and on seeing the appetizer, we exclaimed our surprise to the waiter, Christian, who quickly returned it to the kitchen (and it was removed from our bill). We opted mainly for Peruvian food, trying the fish ceviche, which was the best item served to us. Though in chunks, the fish was thoroughly marinated and had a nice lemony flavor along with spices and cilantro. The fish practically melted in our mouths. I could have eaten the entire thing by myself. My daughter got the Nikuwoki: beef tenderloin with stir fried veggies and fried rice. The beef could have been a tad more tender, and the same for the rice. Hubby got the Tallarin Saltado, and it too had chunks of beef that could have been a tad more tender. I got the Pollo Saltado (not on the menu but they substituted the chicken for beef and charged the same price). It was the least favorite of all the entrees with the soy sauce so heavy that the dish was way too salty. The chicken, too (breasts?) was very dry. Service is mostly good but can be a bit spotty. Our waiter kept getting into long conversations with co-workers (yes, we could see him) and forgetting to tend to our needs. We had to ask to get our water glasses refilled, and it took two requests to get a take-out box. Not sure if that is what prompted him to offer us a dessert on the house: a tray with four small scoops of different ice creams for us to try. We accepted and enjoyed three flavors we had never tasted before (mango was the fourth). Even with being ignored a bit, we got good service. And the head chef came out to our table and asked how we liked our meal and told us how long it took (a year and a half) to get the restaurant to open. Except for the issue with the saltiness, and the aforementioned opinions, the food is decent. But be warned, the portions are very small, especially for the price. Watched as the sign said coming, for a while. Once it finally opened we kept saying, we have to try that place we have to try that place... Finally went in for dinner last night. Greeted right away and sat. Our server got to us and got the drink orders. My typical Diet Coke and my wife got a cosmo. Martini glasses are a little smaller than average, and for the price it should be in a slightly larger martini glass. Nobody offered water, so when our drinks ran out we were left with nothing to drink until we got another round. There was a lag in between for that. Teamwork would have benefitted in that situation as other people saw we had no drinks but didn't approach the table to ask. We ordered the gyoza. Pork and fried. They didn't have the texture of a typical gyoza maybe next time I'll try steamed see if it's better. They were a little on the smaller side. We also ordered the 6 piece skirt steak sushi roll which was really good and unique. I ordered the beef rib with creamy quinoa. I'm a bbq guy so my idea of a beef rib was different from theirs lol. They should put down Beef Short Rib. It came with a salad on the plate with the short rib in a sauce and the creamy quinoa came in a little metal container. It was very tasty but it's a little too loose. I say that because when you put your fork in it, it just goes between the tines. I couldn't just enjoy it by itself I had to cut a piece of the beef rib and dip that into it. I will say it was very good though. The sauce on the beef rib was more like warm than hot though. The rib was hot enough as was the quinoa. My wife got the POYOROKI Ramen noodles sautéed with chicken, shrimp and vegetables served with oyster sauce and shoyu. She loved it. We looked at the desserts, I may have gone with the lava cake, but our server said which ones he thought we should get, so I was willing to take his suggestions this time. Hers was the Panna cotta which was made with coffee. So I wasn't having any of that, but she left none behind. I had some dish from a fruit that's apparently only in Peru. It wasn't what I was expecting. I ate a little more than half. I told the server, when he asked what I thought, it reminded me of pie filling without the rest of the pie. It makes sense when you try it. All this ended up around $165 Not quite worth that price, but not outrageous. We'll be back to try other dishes. The re-design from what it was as Mario the Baker was night and day. They did a great job with the layout. This is a standalone restaurant with a pretty small parking lot. We end up getting the last parking spot in the lot and it was around 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday. The exterior and interior are very nicely decorated, definitely gives a fancier restaurant kind of feel. There's plenty of seating inside with two bars, one liquor one sushi. When we arrived they had multiple large parties, one party looked to be about 25-30 people. When I went to sit down my chair was quite dirty, I had to wipe it off with my hand, there were a lot of crumbs. And I went to the restroom and there is signage everywhere saying you cannot flush anything, including toilet paper. I've seen this one or two times around South Florida so I wasn't surprised, however it appears they use electric tiny trash cans next to the toilets and it looked like the battery of mine had died and there was no way to open this trash can to throw my toilet paper away in, so sadly I had to flush it. Hopefully they check on their trash cans a little more often next time. We started by ordering some sashimi and agree as an appetizer and as we were waiting for this to come out continue to order our dinner. There was many large parties so the service was extremely slow, we ended up getting our appetizers an hour after we ordered them. I was a little annoyed that our server never communicated with us, my fiance's drink ran dry and it was not refilled for some time we had to ask twice for it and ended up not getting it until we got our check. We never complained, but they did end up giving us a free appetizer which was nice, it was the seafood on fire and it was out of this world good. Highly recommend you order that! When we finally got the appetizers we ordered, the order was wrong. The sashimi and nigiri that I ordered was raw fish and scallops and it was so delicious, very very fresh and presented well. We also ordered the grilled octopus which was phenomenal and weirdly came with the best potatoes I've ever had in my life. We also ordered two makis, the kamikaze and the ceviche. The kamikaze was so good but the ceviche had flavors that just didn't quite meld well. I think this restaurant was not properly staffed for these large parties and it definitely put its kitchen behind for the rest of the night and our server was a bit green around the gills, but otherwise I think this is a restaurant with exceptionally good food, flavors and definitely does justice to the Japanese Peruvian fusion genre. Give it a try, but maybe come with slightly lower expectations on the servers and possible wait times. read more

My husband and I came here on Friday evening & we were seated down immediately. Staff greeted us in Japanese which I thought was such a nice touch! They were very welcoming. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! It really has a nice feel to it. The photographer was there taking pictures and getting his shots, which was fun to be a part of. As far as the food, we ordered different kinds of sushis (makis, as it shows on the menu), the famous lomo saltado, and poyoroki with chicken. My favorite Maki was the skirt steak and hotate spicy maki. Believe it or not, it was my first time trying Lomo Saltado & I have to say... this was an amazing first experience! The meat was very well cooked & seasoned (which is sooo important because a lot of restaurants do not season their meat well enough). I actually went to another Peruvian spot a few weeks after and tried their Lomo Saltado, but it was not like this. Naori is definitely the spot to go for drinks, dinner, and sushi! My first visit was during grand opening week and this place hit the spot! Great service, amazing food and Zen vibe. Even though it took a while to get the food since they just opened, they kept coming to let us know the issue and apologized. My second visit was for Peruvian Independence Day and they did an amazing AYCE Peruvian/ Nikkei buffet. We tried out this new Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant in Sunrise for lunch. (Yes, I do drive west of I-95 every now and then! ) Food was very good , and service was outstanding! We shared Oriental Ceviche (seafood and tuna dice with asparagus), Llomo Saltado (tenderloin bites sautéed with onion and tomato), Arroz Chaufa (fried rice with seafood, beef and chicken), and Mount Fuji (chocolate lava cake with ice cream and strawberry slices).
