Came here for best friend's birthday. They have the AC on here so it gets a bit cold. Everything I ordered was good! The hamachi carpaccio was my favorite out of all the dishes. I'd come back to try the other rolls/sushi since they have a huge selection.

Oh this was good as heck. This sushi is not only fresh and affordable, but authentic. I'm glad I came in during the day because I bet this place gets crazy at night. The server was very attentive and helped me decide between some options. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Casual or classy. Just really good food

I could honestly never hate this place... I love it too much. I'll forever be a customer. We came back after a little break because my last experience with one server wasn't great and she was extremely rude, but it was cold outside and I deeply missed the hot soup and hot sushi. I'm so glad we came back. We were greeted so warmly and made to feel so welcome by the people in charge truly amazing energy. It reminded me exactly why I love Imasa so much. I'm really happy to be back and I'll definitely be coming often again like usual. Just one small ask: please don't seat us with that same server again (if she's still there). Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you so much. Love you, Imasa.

The star of the show here was the house salad with ginger dressing. Some restaurants make their ginger dressing spicy, but this one was perfect. I ordered a green tea and a tuna roll with added avocado. The seaweed on the tuna roll was hard and tasted a bit stale I ordered it with brown rice and that was hard as well. My daughter ordered the California roll and loved hers. Hopefully it was just an off day. We were having a lovely time until a group of about 10 people showed up with about 6 kids and it became incredibly noisy in there so we ended up leaving. That's not their fault but it is a small restaurant so it will get noisy. Something to think about.

Delicious food; plenty of options to choose from for lunch and dinner. Quick and very personable service. Busy but cozy and quiet environment. Would come back in a heartbeat to try more of their menu because everything sounded so appetizing. It was hard to make a decision. The Marcella and Imperial rolls are must try's. The crispy rice and the Miami Heat roll were also solid options. You will leave with a happy heart and a full belly.

This evening we ordered dinner once again from this incredible sushi location buttons 2 miles from the house. Instead of picking up, I chose Uber and because I didn't pay for priority, they had the driver pick up my food. Take it 13 minutes away to Pines Boulevard and then deliver our food the way that it was packaged kept it in impeccable condition and it was actually perfect. I really appreciate the extra care. We will definitely order again

After getting my hair done, I was hungry. I wanted some hot tea with something light to eat... that's when Imasa Sushi came to mind. It has been three years since I last had food from this place and it has not changed. It was still dimly lit with a serene ambiance. The restaurant was empty when I arrived but the kitchen staff was very busy preparing orders for pickup. I was approached and greeted by one of the female employees who allowed me to sit at a booth and took my order for hot tea, California roll, and steamed chicken dumplings. Few people started to come in to dine as my food was placed in front of me. The California roll and steamed dumplings was nicely prepared, fresh, and delicious. The green tea was hot and soothing. The little teapot provided served about 3 1/4 cups which was a fulfilling amount. The female employee was attentive in checking if things were to your liking, if you needed anything, and removing the empty dishes. I need to find the time to come back. The food and service is satisfactory.

Nice ambiance, great service and fairly quick, the servers are very knowledgeable, everything I've had on the menu has been delicious, the sushi and sashimi fresh and the hot food very tasty. If you want a good meal worth the price, I highly recommend Imasa Sushi.

My mouth is watering looking at my own picture! The sushi is always fresh here and sooo delicious. Definitely get the yellowtail tacos miami heat roll. This is the ultimate neighborhood sushi place which is still nice enough for a birthday dinner. I came recently with my mom for a weeknight dinner and the service was top-notch. Ivy took amazing care of us, making the experience even better. We will be back!

Came here to try out a new sushi spot , since the reviews were pretty amazing - but honestly I was disappointed . We ordered spicy edamame - which was not spicy at all . we then tried to order the oysters - which there were none of . Then we ordered a lobster pad Thai which seemed like an interesting mix - but was totally super plain - and also 26 dollars . Once we got the sushi's - they were ok - but nothing that blew me away . The whole sushi selection , is very basic - nothing really extravagant like i would like them . Lastly I ordered an orange chicken to see how this would come out - and again not blown away . I would have hoped that with such amazing reviews - I would be blown away ; unfortunately I was not . I'll keep looking for my sushi spot ....

Awesome as always. My favorite place to come to and my usual spot when I'm craving some Japanese food. I love the sushi omakase the chef specially creates. I love the ambiance, the size of the restaurant, the cleanliness, the friendly wait staff. The wait time has always been minimal. They always have my usual favorite items and it never disappoints- hamachi kama, amaebi, sushi omakase.

Otoro & uni .. by our special request, sake bomb, Hamachi Jalapeno Absolutely delicious

Amazing sushi!! Best Japanese Otoro! Best Japanese uni.. did i say they are the best! The best part is the price .. not the brickell side price definitely . Laura our server also was great so attentive & professional.. great recommendations. Do yourself a favor and must visit this amazing place

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble accessing the website to make an online order? It says that the website is suspended

I ordered a week or so ago with no issue. You can call them and ask. They do answer the phone but only for questions. If you're trying to order from the lunch menu and can't it's probably cause you missed the cutoff time.

Which ones are the cooked sushi options 🤰🏽?

They have a handful of cooked roll options under "specialty rolls" on their menu like shrimp tempura. You can find their complete menu with description in the photos sections.

Does this restaurant offer all-you-can-eat sushi?

No, it does not offer all you can eat sushi.

We then ordered the sunset roll 5/5 which was refreshing and well rolled. Our entrees, came with miso soup 4/5 not salty like most tend to be, and with a good ratio of tofu and seaweed. The sushi is a good quality, the tempura appetizer wasn't as good as I remember, the Niku udon was tasty but maybe a little smaller than in the past. I'd definitely avoid the tempura as it didn't have the right coating and really didn't work with the broccoli. The best item was definitely the steak in my opinion. I am Vietnamese born in the States and grew up Philadelphia and Northern Virginia, both places that have a sizeable Vietnamese population, so I spent most of the last few years wondering where good Vietnamese food is around Miami. Well, a few minutes inside and we already knew this place is legit. It's small but comfortable, the staff is attentive, and the food is authentic. My wife and I started with the banana blossom chicken salad which came with a perfectly seasoned sweet fish sauce (in case you're wondering, banana blossom is not sweet or fruity but has a slightly floral slightly earthy flavor like a mild artichoke). I got the Com Ga Ninh Kieu, which is similar to a Hainan chicken if you're familiar with that - yellow poached chicken is served with rice thats cooked wiht the chicken juices and broth, topped with crispy fried onions (or shallots, I forgot) and a side of sweet ginger-y fish sauce; the meat was juicy but still packed with flavor. My wife got the chicken pho, which came with the same juicy and simple but tasty chicken, and a broth that wasn't too salty but still packed with chicken flavor. The food was all delicious and reminded me of the same no-frills tasty cooking that my family grew up with in Philadelphia; even the veggies on the side were legit. To my surprise after reading online, the owners actually immigrated to Philadelphia before eventually relocating to Florida!
