Confused. The website, Google, and Yelp seem to have different information for the hours and location. We wanted to try here and I placed an online order that's supposed to ready at 2:30pm, but the restaurant is closed. Again, on here and their website, it says they're open. But physically at the restaurant, it's not open, it's dark inside. I call the restaurant at 5pm, when they're supposedly open for dine-in and told me that they called me to discuss my order. I check after and they did call me, but I don't answer unknown numbers and they never left any voice messages. So he tells me they can refund the order, great, problem solved, right? Nope. I get off the phone and then receive an email from someone saying they wanted my address because they'll deliver my order. Confused, I call the restaurant back and end up speaking with someone else. We ask when the order was completed since we placed this order at 2pm? When did they make this order and are deciding to deliver us food that's been sitting for hours? They're telling me that they'll deliver the order, but they don't have the matcha tiramisu, a $9.88 item, so they'll use that as a "delivery fee." I refuse and tell them that their website let me complete the order, we were there to pick-up the order as mentioned on the confirmation, but they weren't open. The matcha tiramisu was processed, why would I get penalized for it? So he then offers to change it with something else, I say okay and give him our address. My husband also checks GPS and tells him how far and how long it'll be to deliver (30+ minutes). The guy says okay, we get off the phone. Problem solved again? Nope. I get an email saying, "We apologize but we won't be able to drop it off. It is too far of a drive for our associate . We'll process a refund as soon as possible." Guess I will wait for my refund since I wasn't told how long it'll be until I receive it. I'd avoid or call before placing orders. This place is crazy and confusing - and not just the hours. Told we'd get refunded, then get our food delivered, then not delivered. read more

We went in without many expectations and ended up being pleasantly surprised. We ordered edamame, the volcano roll, and the stan roll, everything was amazing. Super fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients, especially in the sushi. The place was pretty quiet with not many people, which made us hesitate at first... but we decided to give it a try because of the good reviews, and it was definitely the right call. We would absolutely come back read more

Came here on late night and it was good. Not too busy, not too crowded. I like the robot that served the foods straight to your table. The beef udon was good. Right amount of soup and beef. Soft shell crab could have been seasoned more but it was good. Dipping sauce was tasty. The team members were attentive and always checked up on me for anything I wanted or needed. Which was good. read more

The restaurant is trendy and has a nice vibe. Food has a very nice presentation. However it was a bit disappointing in its taste/ flavors. The service is a bit slow and they are not the most attentive. We had to ask several times for things we needed. It felt a bit self service like. Their menu is on line via a QR code, where you place your order and pay for your meal as well. There was a robot that came to deliver your food and you pick it up and send the robot back. The restaurant has a lot of potential, if they can improve on their service to elevate the dining to a more upscale experience to match the chef's creativity. read more

The sushi is always amazing here, and they always know how to make a great presentation with a different style of presentation each time we come back. This has become our favorite place for sushi, and the soba is fantastic as well. It's a nice, casual ambiance that tries to give you a taste of Asia. read more

Winner winner sushi dinner! This place is beyond wonderful! Our server was an absolute delight- thoughtful, efficient, knowledgeable. We had so much sushi and loved every piece! They have a huge options of rolls and fish, then have some classics like katsu, noodle dishes (including soba- a family fav). We got the nigiri app and then split some rolls. Fresh favorful fish, great combos and style of ingredient. Overall, a great meal, lovely service, and a nice night out! read more

A few family members and I wanted to find a place to get sushi near Memorial Regional Hospital since we had someone in the hospital we were visiting. This location popped up, and I noticed it had a lot of good reviews and great-looking pictures of food. We stopped by on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, cute and quirky decor, and delicious food! We ordered a bunch of different rolls, chicken katsu, wonton soup, ginger salad, and skewered meats. Everything I ate or sampled was delicious. There was not one bad item in the bunch. I also appreciated the fact that this restaurant is family owned and you can tell by all the attention to detail in the food presentation and freshness. Personally, I would come back and try out some of the different sushi rolls. read more

Food and ambiance is amazing always. The presentation of the sushi is 10000/10 and the quality is to die for. You might think since ordering is tech-based it the service wouldn't be as personal-- but it sooo is! The servers remembered us from the first time we came and that was so nice and welcoming! We have been ordering take out from Hiro Maru ever since we moved to Hollywood 4 years ago. You cannot beat the combination of value and quality! Their prices remain reasonable in a time when it feels like everything is crazy expensive. I always order sashimi and nigiri, which taste fresh and delicious. My husband's favorites are the pad Thai or udon noodles. The sauces are flavorful and spicy without killing your tastebuds. Our order is always ready promptly. The inside of the restaurant was closed for a long time due to covid but has recently reopened. The restaurant is small but cute and I can't wait to finally sit inside! read more

Staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions! Inside has booths or tables for seating options, all surrounded by traditional decor. My all time favorite was the hand roll with ell, salmon skin, and cucumber (didn't get a picture I ate it way too fast) I wanted to get it as a roll to share with my family but sadly I never got it, hence the 4 stars. Will be back for more though! read more

Comfortable neighborhood sushi joint with a cozy ambiance, very friendly staff, a fairly standard menu, and reasonable prices. On my one visit, I got a veggie soup and a spicy rainbow roll, which made for a light meal (as desired). The roll was good and fresh-tasting, with a generous amount of fish, but the soup was too salty and greasy to enjoy (also a little lacking in veg content). I'll be back, and will likely get the same roll when I do, but will opt for another starter. read more

I have been going to Hiro Maru since 2021, being serviced since the pandemic, and I can safely say that they have the best quality sushi in all of Broward County. I ordered Togo order for pickup last night and it was worse thing I've ever tasted in my life. Hot appetizer takoyaki was raw in the inside. Barely any seafood in it. The toppings were obviously left out and It was so tiny. Literally paid for raw dough for $10. I threw them away. The jb roll was tasteless. They cut it so thick it was hard to eat. Also No napkins no sauce. This place has gone downhill . Ive wasted my money. Do not recommend read more

Really homey Japanese restaurant with a friendly staff and a good menu. Their selection of rolls is very vast and there's a lot of hot appetizers as well. We started with a mushroom tempura. It was light and crispy. Very good. The Hamachi kama appetizer was a good size to share and the meat was flaky and fresh. Then we tried two of their sushi rolls. The Beauty and Beast roll has tuna, asparagus, cucumber and eel inside. Super light and tasty. The Fuji mountain roll is hearty with spicy tuna inside and spicy harusame noodles on top. It's unique and packed with flavor. It's a bit on the spicy side for me but still very good. We celebrated a birthday in our group and the staff brought out this awesome candle that was like a mini firework. Very cool. read more

Best sushi in South Florida. They have lots of options. Relatively affordable but it does add up quick. The menu is extensive and has options for vegans and gluten free people as well. Good service. Kind, caring and respectful wait staff. They have a robot delivering food which I personally don't like, feel like it's a waste of money that could be put towards employing a human. The ordering system is modern on a QR code. the wait staff does come around to make sure the order is correct on the QR code and sends it to kitchen. Very tasty. read more

I was a regular customer, used to love to order food there, but yesterday evening I have ordered grilled squid and crab meat (appitizer). It was really bad... I opened a box with squid and the smell was disgusting, like a dead seafood, squid was rotten, had green color and soft texture, look at the pic, it was so disgusting, I had a hard time to not throw up. Crab meat smelled bad also, used to be my favorite appetizer ... was so sour, addled. I have no idea what happened with this place, they just sent rotted food... I will never come back there anymore, fresh food is not about this place. Welcome everyone to enjoy rotten food. read more

Such a great sushi place! We got in right away and didn't have to wait. Our server was super friendly and was great at checking on us. Plenty of seating inside. There is a sushi bar area as well with tv. I got the fish garlic roll but switched out the cooked fish for tuna and did not have it cooked. They way they prepared it was sooo good! I could eat this roll every time! Give it a try! My bf got several pieces of sashimi/sushi and all was very good and fresh. The food was decent but nothing amazing that I would come back for. The sashimi was fresh. We ordered the sashimi regular dish which consists of 15 pieces of sashimi, including salmon, tuna, white tuna, another tuna that the waitress mentioned, and hamachi. The salmon was fresh but a part of it was slightly frozen. The hamachi was very fatty and DELiCIOUS. Everything else was meh. We ordered an assortment of skewers. The bacon enoki skewers consisted of bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms. It was okay, nothing special. The chicken liver and beef tongue skewers were quite bland even with the ponzu drizzled on top. I'd recommend a thicker sauce to add a burst of flavor like oyster sauce. The chicken yakitori skewers had flavor but the chicken itself was dried out. We also ordered the Tuna Tataki, a dish that reminds me of beef carpaccio but with tuna. The tuna is slightly seared and surrounded by the flavor of ponzu and green onions. I thought the dish tasted fine. The ponzu flavor was apparent in the tuna, but I felt like it was missing something to make the dish shine. Overall, neat place and food was alright. I didn't find anything amazing about it to make me want to come back. Perhaps the rolls are the most amazing part that is worthy of at least four stars? read more

Always amazing. Always inviting. Excellent quality. Excellent service. You can feel the love for what they do?

We went to that restaurant after reading some of the reviews. That was a big mistake, I don't know how some customers can give 5 stars ,certainly not on the food. But everything was very disappointing starting with:::: As we arrived at the adress that we had, the parking area was full, I had to drive around and waited until somebody would leave the parking so I could take there place. It was a shock, as we walk in the place, there was one table with customers only, that should had told us, to turn around and walk out the place. But we did not. Our mistake. Th place has no ambiance at all. But they are up to 2024 with there tablets for choosing our menu, and robots to help with the service. Our order was , black Dragon rolls, that my compagnon had ordered, and was satisfied with it, but the second order was Dina roll, on both order, there was nice presentation, but the taste of the Dina rolls had a very strong fish taste, that mean, it was not fresh. Surprising in middle of the week, it should had been fresh fish. I also found $7.02 for a beer in that no ambiance restaurant was a bet much. This was not in the class of the Diplomat for asking that price. The server was very friendly, maybe even too much, a few time she came to our table and was counting, how many pieces of sushi, we had left in our plate. Allo ...... I am glad that some previous customers like the place and food sooo much that they gave them a 5 stars, but, myself I could not do that . read more

I ordered delivery from Uber eats during the Coronavirus lockdown. I had originally wanted sushi from my regular spot but they were already closed for the night so I decided to give this place a chance cause they have a nice comprehensive menu & sake bottles on their delivery menu. I'm so glad I did. I loovveee salmon and I found that they have a salmon plate ($24.95)with salmon sashimi, salmon nigiri , salmon roll(8 pieces), spicy salmon app & a soup or salad. They also have a tuna version is you're a tuna lover instead. I also ordered a side of sushi rice ($3) which came with a sprinkle of sesame seeds...my favorite. The spicy salmon app was a teeny tiny portion but it was very tasty with the side of rice. That was enough for me and I saved the rest for the next day. The next day I tackled the sashimi & roll & it still tasted super fresh & the rice was also still a good texture. A lot of times the rice gets hard if you refrigerate it overnight. Also want to mention that the sashimi pieces, nigiri & rolls were nicely sized. I've gotten smaller pieces from other restaurants and left feeling like I'd been robbed. Overall I am extremely happy with the quality & quantity of the sushi and will definitely make this restaurant my sushi go to delivery place. read more
