For starters, we ordered the tuna tartare that came with shrimp chips, which was very flavorful. Lunch entrées I went with one of their specialty rolls called the flamingo roll and with soy paper and no jalapeños. Wow, what a gem this place was. We had to go to FLL to pick up a friend and left early to eat first. On the way I found this place on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. The service was great, we sat right away, got our menus and drinks fast. The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered a few rolls and a crispy rice with tuna. ALL delicious, fresh and at great prices. Met a girlfriend for lunch here. She lives in Dade and this was a good halfway point. The restaurant had been recommended to her by a friend knowing we both like sushi/thai places. We both ordered from the lunch specials section of their menu. My friend had their chicken katsu. This was one large breaded and fried piece of white meat chicken cut into strips. It came only with a dipping sauce. She said it was very good. I got a small green salad with ginger dressing to start. Then I had their cashew nut stir fry. I chose shrimp as my protein along with various veggies in a light brown sauce. It came with white rice. The restaurant was easy to get to. There is a parking lot right outside which was convenient. It wasn't busy at all and we had decent service although there was a bit of a language barrier when we asked a few questions. read more

Place has been here for 20 plus years. Been a minute since I have been here and noticed they removed sushi bar that used to be located at front. Went for lunch. Friend got Tom yum soup, very good and flavorful. I got lunch special. Roll was excellent. Raw Fish was ok, it was chefs choice. Some tuna salmon and unknown white fish. Tuna slices still almost frozen and a little watery as a result. Fried shrimp veggies were crispy and not greasy. You got a choice of chicken or shrimp and soup or salad. Next the basil sauce w/chicken is another family favorite w/crispy Thai basil and peppers and onions just sublime. The pad see ew w/beef will leave you wanting more. We usually begin w/a Nirvana roll & the crab stuffed shrimp in a blanket & it never disappoints. Our family eats here once a week & the staff is so warm and welcoming, they feel like family. Unfortunatetly , I am writing a bad review based on my lunch today, 04/09/2025. I have not dined here in quite a while , ( one year roughly ) . I am giving this review one star based on the uplift they gave the dining room, the ambiance is so much bettter , however the big disappointment was the service , food and they overcharged my lunch . I ordered the Pad Thai and it was listed on the menu at $ 12.00 dollars and when the checked arrived it was $ 17.00 plus. The dish was so dry, I asked politely for extra sauce ( didn't taste like peanut sauce ) and they charged me .75 cents for that as well as ginger dressing for the salad , ( returned the miso dressing because it was AWFUL ) . I will not return and instead of letting the waitress know how much she over charged me , My second time in many years of dining out alone , no tip . Hoping that this establishment takes the sign down that states at the entrance , " We are short - staffed , please be patient " , and advertize on Indeed . I have ordered delivery from this location a few times and I've had some mixed experiences. Overall I think the food is really good quality and they give pretty large portions, especially for the price! Firstly the way that you order is a bit strange to me. If you are going to order online, you place your order on their website and then in a few minutes receive phone call where they confirm the items in your order and any special notes you may have added. They ask how you would like to pay for your order, and this is where I get a little uncomfortable. If you chose credit/debit card, they ask for your payment information over the phone. I am just not a fan of giving out that type of information over the phone, but I've done it anyways. I've order quite a few times and never had any fraud or issues at all, so please don't think I'm accusing them of anything at all! It's just not something I'm used to. ANYWAYS! I have ordered sushi and other entrees. The sushi roll that I ordered was delicious! A huge roll with large pieces of fresh tasting fish! I've also had the Pad Thai, great flavor and even greater portion. There was no way I could finish it in one sitting and honestly it was even better tasting as leftovers the next day. Most recently I ordered a sushi-sashimi-teriyaki lunch combo. I asked for no scallions on the Tekka Roll that came with the combo but was okay with scallions in the miso soup that came with the combo, however the person on the phone must have misunderstood me and I had scallions in the roll and not in the soup. The roll was still very tasty. The meal also came with six slices of sashimi and three pieces of nigiri, very fresh and large pieces. The miso soup, although super tasty, nice and warm, and full of delicious pieces of seaweed, it did spill all over the bag it was in because of the way it was packaged for delivery. The portion of chicken teriyaki was nice however there was only one piece of each vegetable which seemed a little lacking to me, but it did come with a very generous portion of white rice. Overall I think that this restaurant will satisfy your sushi cravings. I don't think it's the best sushi I've ever had in South Florida but I would still order again because of price and portion size. read more

Funny I think this is my first time having a Thai dish. I was recommended the Panang Curry. I loved it. This dish had so much flavor. The coconut milk tasted good. It was a little spicy and yes you can adjust the heat. The spices and flavors were delicious. The dish was like a think soup with long beans, red peppers, coconut milk, curry and I think peanuts. A protein can also be added to the dish. I choose chicken. It came with a side of white rice. Everything tasted great. I would order this again. . . . They gave us these fried triangles as we see down. They tasted good. They had I think cream cheese and chives inside. They had a good crunch. I wish I knew the. name to them so I can order them again. . . . . The green tea ice cream tasted homemade. It was good. It did have pieces of little ice inside the mixture like it had not been blended completely but it tasted good. . . . The restaurant is casual. This is a great Thai and Sushi place in West Hollywood. Thai menu is pretty extensive while the sushi menu was a bit more limited compared to a sushi only restaurant. We ordered appetizers and two entrees and everything came out to order and even more delicious than when we order to-go. I came here for take out and it wasn't overly crowded but the calls kept coming in. Unfortunately it took the one and only person who was answering calls and taking walk in orders almost 15 minutes to even acknowledge me. Now Im a sucker for good customer service and this was NOT it. He was extremely impatient when it came time for me to place my order. I mean, I should know what I want to order, its my first time there; and I have been staring at the menu for about 5 minutes (sense the sarcasm?) I was annoyed by all this and thought about walking out, but I was already there and it was my turn to order and I really wanted sushi. Fast forward 25 more minutes waiting for my food and here was the outcome: 1. Anything tempura in that place is amazing. 2. Service is slow. 3. Ask for EEL sauce in your to-go back and any other sauce you might like because you don't want to get home anticipating eating delicious sushi without your favorite dipping sauce. We ordered: Dynamite Roll Spicy Tuna Roll Pad See Ew w/Fried Tofu We stumbled upon a discount of 5% that they offer when you order from their website. Everything tasted right and the portion size was good for what we paid for. They did not skimp on the fried tofu as there was a lot of it in the Pad See Ew noodles. We have been eating here regularly for the last 10+ years. We have not been inside since COVID began, however we've continued to support this business by ordering about 2X a month since March 2019. Today we decided to dine in and we're so incredibly disappointed. The service was nonexistent, the order was taken incorrectly and we had to get up and go look for the waitress multiple times. The table lacked silverware, plates for the appetizers, refills on water and the California rolls did not taste fresh at all - the other sushi/rolls did. Tom Gun Gai is one of the best soups here. It has clear broth, lemongrass, chicken (or choice of meat), mushroom and lots of flavor. I ordered the one with the coconut milk and was good as well. The restaurant is always full with locals for both lunch and dinner. Try the tuna with cucumber wrap instead of seaweed and rice. The one on Hollywood Beach is now closed. Menú is huge first of all, huge menu of sushi and other entrees. I hit it with the classic Wonton Soup and I have to say the broth was just so refreshing it might have been the best part of the night. But unfortunately for my two sushi rolls, it just didn't hit me. I felt a presence that the fish wasn't fresh. Just in my head. Flavors were right. My Spicy Tuna Roll was not it for me. I didn't expect a huge chunk of tuna in my roll. Wasn't appetizing and didn't give it the btouch I was looking forward too. The Pascale Roll was nice but expected more as well.
