Aloha Crab is in the corner of the plaza on Palm and Pines, serving up seafood and classic Viet dishes. The space itself is big and clean with a lot of room for both small and large parties. I came here for a birthday with a large party and they were able to accomodate us on a Tuesday night with a reservation. I didn't know that they had more than seafood here which was a nice surprise but came here specifically craving crawfish and was super disappointed when they didn't have any. I know that it was a random weekday night, plus there was a lot of us but it was a bummer for some of the group wanting seafood. As the night went on and a few more people came in, they ran out of most of the seafood in general and the latecomers had to change their order three times because of the things they ran out of. They have a "boiled & bagged" option where you choose seafood, your flavor, spice level and add on any extras like potatoes or corn. Since there was no crawfish, I got shrimp with their Aloha Crab Special Blend (described as tangy, bold and full of flavor) which is similar to special sauce at any seafood spot, with medium spice and added 2 potatoes. When it arrived, it wasn't bagged which is fine but non-traditional to what I'm used to. They gave gloves and had a good portion (1lb as described) but the flavor was just okay in comparison to other spots and the sauce was also very watery. Overall, it was okay but I probably wouldn't order the seafood here again. Other people who got the regular dishes said they were pretty good so I might try those if I visit a next time. This spot also has karaoke which I heard they only do on specific nights but if you know the people who work there, they allow you to karaoke whenever. They pulled out the karaoke for this night but it was mostly just Vietnamese songs which is fine because that was the crowd that was there. Overall, still a cool place if you have a large party but interested to see how the other food options are if I visit again. read more

Since the change in ownership a few years ago, I just want to say ALOHA new owners. The variety of dishes they have now over compensates the forces of the other previous dishes. However, they did not have crawfish on our visit.. Every food item has a craft that makes the dish very enjoyable. I can say , I'm not really a fan of the seafood boils sauce here, but the other dishes I have been ordering have conquered that disservice. They were also out of other seafood options on the menu. Service can be muted at times but they always come through. You can asked them to sing karaoke and they are very hospitable people. The place is spacious and great for parties. Dzoo Your bill at the end might not be as friendly, but the people here are :)) read more

Looked promising, but the snails were overcooked, rice under cooked, but the caramelized fish was good.

Service was really good. Ambiance nice and clean restaurant. I would give the boil a 6/10. The crab legs were good, fresh, and meaty. The sauce..I asked for garlic butter I feel like I got the whole mix? It was thick. But the shrimp is what brought down the whole meal. The shrimp was very tough and it wasn't deveined. Idk if it was over cooked? Or not fresh? But it was tough and very hard to peel. I paid $41 wasn't too impressed with the meal overall. read more

My bf and I ordered for carry out and we were not disappointed! We ordered the fish sauce wings as a starter. They were crispy and the perfect amount of sweet and salty. For our main dishes we ordered the seafood basil fried rice, blood sausage and steamed shrimp in a bag. The fried rice was herby and had a generous amount of seafood. It's hard to see in the picture but there's half a lobster tailed, mussels, clams and shrimp in the mix! We really like the steamed shrimp. Aloha crab offers variation of spicy, so choose as little or as much heat as you like! It was perfectly cooked and easy to peel. My boyfriend loves blood sausage and although it isn't my thing, he absolutely loved the flavor and texture. It was served with lots of herbs and a fermented paste. 100 percent would order from aloha crab again! read more

Empty but open and the place is pleasant looking. Employees are very attentive as we were the only people there. Food was good the snow crab I heard tasted yummy. Not too many vegan option veggie rice which I had and you could order corn or a salad. A crab place it is for those that like this it's heaven. For two snow crab clumps 20.00 and dumpling 550 . The veggie rice very tasty 1050. Would we be back maybe ?????? But only if I'm in the mood for rice .Parking is easy right next to Doris Italian market. read more

I walked in on a rainy Friday for a solo lunch and really enjoyed my experience here. Met Cindy or Nancy? and her husband who own the restaurant. They are super kind and warm people. I got the seafood combo with shrimp and snow crabs, the portion was perfect and the sauce was well seasoned. I had it with a Singha beer and the whole meal ran about $45 with tip. It is clean and light in energy inside. Worth a second visit and enjoying with friends or family. Recommend it and look forward to trying other dishes. read more

I initially saw the signs for this restaurant during the end of Summer, but couldn't locate on Yelp in Florida. Fast forward during the Holidays I saw it was open with a grand opening sign. I had not been in the area for awhile and the owner let me know they had been opened for 3 weeks at the time. I got a to go menu and she also gave me a coupon. Fast forward a week or so and I decided to go try it today. In the location that are in, it may be slow due to not too many people knowing it is there next to Monkey Joe's on Pines Blvd. I decided to get the Shrimp Pad Thai to go and used the coupon to try the egg rolls. I got there around their lunch time from 11am to 3pm. After making a stop and getting home it hit the spot. The owner had asked if I wanted to add any spice and I decided on medium spice. It was perfect as I love spicy foods or a good kick. This gave that to me. The egg rolls were also delicious and the sauce they came with was the best. I love having a little sweet and tangy on my egg roll and this cause gave that to me indeed. I definitely suggest everyone getting out to try this place because it is worth it. I look forward to returning for the dinner menu because so want to try the snow crab legs boil bag with shrimp! P.S. Blue, we should check this out for a 2020 event if they are willing! read more

We are from WPB and we travel all the way down there as we have heard they have karaoke and live music at the weekend. We even call before going to confirm. However, there was no either live music or karaoke for the guest. The restaurant look dead, no guests except us......the food was ok but it was overcharge for the price! It was like $45/ person as we were group of 7 people ( each person ordered 1 meal to share)....with that price I would have take my friend to AYCE at Shanto Boca! Too expensive for this restaurant, and i would not recommend to anyone!!!! read more

We went to eat this place for dinner. I had been eating a Vietnamese noodle soup since I was three and a half when my mom cut noodles in small pieces. I stopped eating pho about eight or nine until now. It was taste the same as other Vietnamese restaurants. I got a pho with noodle and broth that I love with a sausage for toppings, and it was good. I was very tired for staying too long so my mom took me to the car to wait for father to take me home. Overall, the food was good. read more

we just did our baby boy's birthday party here. It was more than a restaurant. I reserved for a party table and they allow us to have our own cake table set up with our own designs that we can bring from home. They even allowed us to pick our own music. We were amazed how it turned out. They also welcome us to do karaoke and would turn on music and the stage lights for us if we wanted to. The food was great and everyone was amazing. The server and the manager were also genuinely friendly and nice. we will definitely come back here. anyone looking for a party small or big. Look into this place. read more

This place was not it at all, whatsoever!! We had a taste for seafood and saw reviews of recommendations. However, my partner has a different hunch when we got there and he went for the shrimp pad Thai. The shrimp were spoiled unfortunately although he said the pad thai itself was good. I had the crawfish in their signature aloha sauce. It was just ok. I wouldn't have the sauce again--it taste similar to a sweet chili thai sauce. Not my thing on seafood. read more

First time visiting. We went to Aloha Crab on a Saturday evening to scratch some Seafood Boil cravings. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we got there. There was a couple outside waiting for a takeaway order. The waiter/greeter got us seated right away on a table with white paper covering. They had marked all tables in use with the white paper. The seating capacity has been reduced and seats are well distanced. My first Impression Man they server a lot things, huge menu. From Dumplings, to Thai curries, to Vietnamese Pho to Taiwanese Hot Pot to Cajun seafood Boils and a lot of this in-between. We ordered Steamed Dumplings, Egg Roll, Pad Thai Chicken (Spicy 5/5) and 1 lbs Headless Shrimp Boil with X-Spicy(Can't Feel my Mouth) spice level. Added Thai Donuts later to help stop the Burn. The appetizers were pretty good, but they are pretty hard to screw up anyways. I would give Pad Thai 4 out of 5, Shrimp Boil was definitely one of the best I have ever had 5/5. But hey that spice Level Can't feel my Mouth, should be renamed to include the overnight and next morning burn. But we loved it. Service was courteous, quick and on-point. I think we found our new fav spot not too far from home. I would definitely return soon and recommended people. read more

Came back the 2nd time today and I can really say this place is going to be amazing . The owner came out and introduced himself . Very nice and humble guy . I can tell he's a hard worker and really cares for his business. My parents came and they like this place a lot too and it takes a lot for them to go to a restaurant and enjoy it. "Typical Asian parents" but so glad I can take them here .... Servers need to step it up a little bit, they're not as attentive . You gotta wave them down .... hopefully they work on that . I don't even know where to start. This place totally exceeded my expectations!! Firstly the service was A1. Very nice servers and even a manager came out to see how everyone was enjoying their meals. I went kinda overboard and ordered the VIP3 which is 2 clusters of snow crab and 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of muscles. I literally died when I saw the size of the muscles. So big and juicy!! I could see myself going back and just ordering a giant bag of green muscles. The snow crab were big and cooked perfectly. The flavor of the sausage was smoky and sweet and just downright delicious. I ordered the aloha sauce and 10/10 recommend!!! It's like a million garlic cloves exploded into buttery goodness and if I had to choose a death row last meal, this would be it. To top it off, the prices were great!! I will definitely return. This place should get some more recognition. read more

Saw the menu of this place and it's right around the corner from my house so we thought let's try it out. Great atmosphere!! I think this location used to be some late-night Jamaican spot from my youth lol! (Maybe about 10-15 years ago) and now it's a cute hangout spot for seafood in the area. Can see us coming here to grab a drink or meet up with large groups- it's very big inside surprisingly! We desperately need a place like this nearby that's family-friendly, yet still relevant. Speed of service is the only reason I gave a 4 out of 5. Food was pretty good, but you can tell the owners may he new at service in regards to a restaurant setting. Our server was extremely nice and the greeter asked about the food and any suggestions for the chef- very appreciated!!! But we waited a while for our food and our calamari came out after our food. The waited 15 mins for Thai donuts at the end and saw other people getting their food after we were pretty much done. I'm sure with time they will get better. Def give them a try! Calamari was my fave thing here. very yummy!!! read more

A hidden gem! Was going to Submarine Crab, but with only a few tables in there, it was a hour wait. So, hit up Aloha to try and mind you I lived in SoCal where Boiling Crab and Kickin Crab is what I was used to. Anyhow, was skeptical at first with Aloha as I didn't think it would come close to what I was used to in Cali. Well, was I wrong - got the combo; snow crab, shrimp in garlic butter and live craw fish with the whole Shabang (all sauces mix together). The seafood was all fresh and the sauce was extremely tasty and yummy. They also have a fried butter quail dish which is a must try!! At the end, ordered more crawfish and crayfish to go! As for the service, the staff did the best they can! They did come check on us and apologize for the food for taking a bit long. With the pandemic, it is hard to predict if this spring break would really caused a lot of people being out...well looks like it did and I can't blame the businesses for not having enough staff as it is hard after a year of slow business traffic. So to all out there, show a bit more patience as all businesses are doing the best they can to survive and stay open to service the public! Aloha crab - keep on cooking the tasty food! read more

Came to this restaurant on a Sunday evening and had a great experience. Service was quick and professional. I thought the food was going to take long since they were prepping for a big party , but it didn't take as long as I was expecting. This place has so much potential!! The name is confusing as we thought it was the same concept restaurant like the other seafood boil places. While they serve boils, they also serve Thai food. The online menu that I found was very old so if you go, don't expect some of the items that I thought they served. What I mean by potential. They don't have a happy hour. The place was empty and if they had a half off wine and beer accompanied with half off raw oysters, people would fill this place like a can of sardines. My husband had the calamari and did not like that they were large rings with crunchy batter. I don't care for calamari and for this review decided to try it. I liked the crunchy texture but confirm that I am not a fan of calamari. I had the Panang Curry with chicken. It was good, but not quite like the taste that you would find at a Thai restaurant that specializes in the cuisine. My husband had the boil with their signature sauce. Why would I go back? The wine and beer were cheap and it was quiet. The boils are decent and not too expensive. Shannon, our waitress was great. If they were to take a suggestion about happy hour, it is possible that there will be a line out the door. read more

We had a wonderful dinner Saturday evening after temp checks and distance seating. Menu offers several styles of cuisine (Thai, Hawaiian, Japanese and Korean) with LOTS of fresh seafood dishes! We had a lovely bottle of Mark West Chardonnay and treated by Tam the owner/chef to Korean Egg Rolls before our sumptuous dinners arrived. I had a steam pot with Hawaiian spices and husband had Seafood green curry. Lobster, crab, clams and shrimp abundantly in both dishes. If you are a true seafood lover, this is the place for you!! My companion and I had the seafood bags that had crab (I had Snow and he had Dungeness), sausage, potatoes and corn cob, plus your choice of additional protein. We both chose shrimp. I hesitantly bit into the corn, only to be delighted to find it was cooked perfectly-not soggy at all! Everything was delicious and a lot of food for $25. My companion also ordered a fried soft shell crab and he said it was delicious! I can vouch that the battered fries (think McDonalds!) that came with it were great. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and the dinner was more than adequately set up for social distancing. A very enjoyable meal and experience. read more

We had delivery through doordash from this place and all I can say is WOW! I never had boiled and bagged seafood and had been wanting to try it for a long time. This place did not disappoint. The flavor, the quality of the seafood, and the portions were amazing. We got the 2 clusters of snow crab legs with 2 lobster tails, which were cut in halves so it was like 4 tails because they were big tails plus 1lb of shrimp and crawfish with potatoes and corn. We also got the shrimp fried rice and the egg rolls. They also include a loaf of bread which was toasted and warm upon delivery. I feel the price is on par with the quality and portions you get. I don't know where to even begin with the type of horrible service that I received here. The waitress was HORRIBLE!!! She ignored us and after I complained was blatantly rude and ignored us more. I used to love Aloha Crab when they just opened. The crab was fresh and the sauces tasty. Of late they have gotten lazy. The sauce is sub-par and the shrimp and crab is very stale. Alohaaaaaaa! When I see food I seafood! I absolutely love this place! Although it's duck off in the corner near monkey joes and the same plaza as Bru's room, there is a lot of parking! I always come here to eat crawfish bc I tend to crave it a lot but I only like to order them when they're in season. They are best when they are! With any seafood combo I like to eat it with the aloha crab special sauce which is absolute delicious and very flavorful. It consist of all the flavors combine. I like the sauce bc it's saucy and not powdery or anything and the seafood absorbs the flavor. There's usually no wait, I get seated right away and The price is reasonable.
