Great lunch experience here. Went with a large group of friends and service didn't suffer at all. I had rice with seafood or Arroz con Marisco. It was very nice, although I forgot how much cheese they use in Huancaina sauce, so keep that in mind. Delicious flavor and I heard good reviews of the food from friends. There is a good lunch menu with options ~$16-20. The dining room is nicely done and there's an outdoor seating area with shade as well. I'll be back for the ceviche.
Was in the area for work and while looking for a happy hour, this place came up: it was perfect. We ordered several items from the happy hour menu and they were ALL good. Also, very flavorful and well mixed cocktails. We had the Ebi Kariuzame, the chicken yakitori and the conchas brasa. I can't decide which one was better LOL all sooo good! For cocktails the pisco maracuya was my drink and I couldn't stop at one. Alejandro was our waiter and we explained we weren't local, and he was patient and took the time to explain the menu and choices. I recommend!
Great little Peruvian restaurant in Pembroke Pines. Our favorites were the roll and the ribs, delicious! The restaurant is small but the servers are very attentive and nice! It is a bit pricey but then again what good Peruvian restaurant isn't :)
When people ask me what my favorite restaurant is, this is always the one I mention. I started going to the location in Pembroke Pines, but I heard they just opened one in Fort Lauderdale, so I'll definitely have to check it out! I've never disliked a single thing here, everything is good. I love their wine selection, they have a great assortment of reds and whites, along with mimosas. You also have the option to sit inside or outside, and the service is great!
Came for the social hour, and left very impressed! The drinks menu is fairly priced, with beers $5 and sangria and wine priced at $6. The food was delicious! What stood out to me was the conchas brasas (grilled scallops cooked in citrus butter) - they're so buttery and soft, this is a must get! The other dishes were also very well seasoned, they pair well with a drink and catching up with friends. Service was attentive and fast, and we sat outside for a nice balmy evening. Great overall experience, I highly recommend anyone to come for social hour! I will definitely have to return to try the regular menu for dinner one day.
This Embarcadero 41 location is in the Pembroke Pines plaza by Pines Blvd and Palm. I LOVE their social hour which goes from 4-7pm but recently dined and ordered off their regular menu. We ended up getting the Sapporo kai Roll and the tequenos de lomo saltado. These two weren't my favorite dishes but were pretty good overall. The tequenos were more like an eggroll than a tequeno and I realized I like lomo saltado the classic way versus in a fusion dish. My favorite off the social hour menu is the conchas brasa. They're pretty expensive when not on the social hour menu so definitely give it a try if you're there when it's that time. The staff is friendly and the inside is beautiful. A great spot for Peruvian fusion cuisine if you're in the area!
Always wanted to try this Japanese-Peruvian restaurant and finally got the chance. It was worth the wait. Food was really good and fresh. I'm a big fan of ceviche so I got the trIo. Excellent. Then I got a risotto with a skirt steak on a bath of semigloss. My dinner mate ordered a flavorful stir fry that came with rice and tri colored fried potatoes . The ambiance was clean, inviting, wait staff very welcoming. The dinning room was small so a bit on the noisy side. But I will return. We finished every last bit.
Quality - check, flavor - check, presentation - check, service - check check, temperature of the prosecco - perfect. Casual ambiance but top notch food. Peruvian- Asian cuisine. Very impressed.

Melt-in-your-mouth magic. great music, warm lighting, and a staff that made you feel like family. Embarcadero 41 is a popular Peruvian Nikkei fusion style restaurant specializing in ceviche and sushi rolls and other tasty dishes. I met a friend who was visiting from out of time and we split several excellent dishes. One dish had thin strips of fish and octopus (pulpo) with crispy salmon skins in a delicious sauteed broth. We also shared several sushi rolls with salmon and shrimp. We finished off with scallops presented in their shells. Browsing through their menu will give you a nice idea of what they serve, but that's not everything they have. There are plenty of new creations that we discovered that aren't on the online menu. I'm aware that my food descriptions are vague. I was more in dining mode than reporter and the online menu doesn't tell nearly the whole story.
Wanted a sweet treat so I ordered the cheesecake on my visit at Embarcadero 41. I was unaware it had passion fruit sauce on top of it. It was wickedly sweet. Way too sweet. It almost ruined the cheesecake for me. Luckily I was able to scrape it off. The cheesecake was saved and it was delicious. Now the passion fruit sauce was good. It was just crazy sweet. They could just put a small drizzle of it on the cheesecake and it would be a perfect addition. For me it was a bit too much. I'd love to return and try their chocolate cake!! I, also, had my eye on that. I couldn't decide so I asked the server and he said I should go with the cheesecake. Service was perfect. Zero complaints there. All the staff were amazing. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed dining in this evening and will be back again.
Piero is a fantastic server! I was here a few months ago for an event. I had to bite the bullet because ceviche was served and I couldn't be rude. Much to my surprise, I love ceviche! We got the trio and had enough to take some home. Max got the Pork Belly bowl and it came out piping hot. My dish was room temperature. Piero said he would take it back, but I was almost full and there was no point. Both of us requested takeout boxes. I'm a dessert girl and had to get the Quinoa Creme Brulee. I didn't taste the quinoa. We will definitely come back. Our daughter opted for the Chicken bowl which she took home for a midnight meal.
What a gem and what a treat in Pembroke Pines. Went here for a work dinner to celebrate the holidays and the menu did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. The drinks were delicious. You will not only eat well, but you will be taken care of the variety and the care in the dishes is just absolutely divine. We only tried a sample and I can't wait to come back. Their Piscos are amazing. The restaurant is very inviting. Wasn't too busy when we went, but even if it was busy, it would be worth the wait. It was just such a treat.

Excellent restaurant with a great mix of Peruvian food! We were a 9 person group and made a reservation, so the table was set up for a fun luncheon when we arrived. They were also able to provide us with separate checks with no fuss! This was a great plus for us. Overall I was glad with the quality and the variety they had. All the foods were freshly prepared, and arrived relatively fast to our table, so we all We're able to start eating and enjoying our food together. They also have a lunch menu! It is a reduced portion of their menu as it includes only 5 choices, but the choices are good enough that they are a great sampler of the food and the portion size is abundant! We all took some home for dinner! This time we did not taste their desserts, but I have such a craving for the chocolate cake that looked delicious, that I'm sure I'll be back soon! I ordered the tenderloin over the huancaina risotto and it was a huge portion (not a lunch menu item). The sauce was a bit salty so I did not take it "to go", just the delicious risotto and the tenderloin chunks. Three friends ordered the "trio" sampler with ceviche, fried calamari and some risotto; a couple friends ordered the sautéed chicken with white rice and French fries that looked spectacular, and a couple other friends ordered the fettuccini in huancaina sauce with the breaded chicken filet that was a humongous dish and very yummy! Finally one friend ordered a Maki Sushi roll that was beautifully plated, and another ordered the seafood risotto that was also very yummy. Everything smelled and looked like something I would've loved to have... so juat Enjoy and come back for more! Don't forget to check the last page for those lunch specials! read more

I made lunch reservations at El Embarcadero for a going-away lunch for a good friend after hearing so many wonderful things about it, and I'm really glad we went. We started by sharing the scallops as an appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious--one of my favorite parts of the meal. They were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I wasn't really hungry, so I ordered the leche de tigre and it was incredibly satisfying--fresh, juicy, bright, lemony, and full of citrus flavor. I especially loved that fresh lime taste; it made the dish feel so vibrant. My friends ordered a few different entrées, and I got to try a little bit of everything. Everything looked amazing, but I especially loved the shrimp risotto. For dessert, the maracuyá cheesecake was completely out of this world--so divine. It paired perfectly with an Americano coffee and was the perfect way to end the meal. The one disappointment for me was the sangria. We all shared some, and unfortunately it tasted watered down, more like diluted wine than a true house-made sangria. I was really hoping for something fresher and more flavorful. Overall, I had a lovely experience. The food and dessert were definitely the highlights, and I would absolutely come back. Next time I'd love to try one of their cocktails and order a full entrée of my own. read more

I went to the new Brickell location and let me tell you this is top 3 best Peruvian restaurants I've had. The food was amazing the passion fruit pisco was one of the best pisco sours I've ever had. Everyone from the hostess to the server were very knowledgeable about the menu. Beautiful indoor decor and last but not least the food was amazing you can't go wrong with any item here!! read more

Wow wow wow wow Peruvian deliciousness!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and eat here when you can. A smart and beautiful Ecuadorian coworker recommended this restaurant to me. We absolutely loved the Leche de Tigre! Causa de atun was cool! Ceviche micro de corvina is lovely! Salmon tartar spicy roll was cool sushi! Lomo saltado a lo pobre is a classic! The risotto de huancaina con lomo is sososoososo good and a little spicy but the heat is worth it cuz I had never tasted these flavors before! Tacu tacu con salsa de mariscos was lovely. I am not Spanish so going on the website first to look at the menu is good idea to get a visual with the description. Otherwise if you don't do it it's okay because every item is a win win. $$$$$ you're worth it!!! Passion fruit pisco sour is delightful! I'm always a fan of every Embarcadero. I'm so happy that they keep expanding locations. This was my first visit to their Pembroke Pines location for a last minute girls dinner after a workout with a Peruvian food craving. Everything was so yummy. I got the traditional fish ceviche with the fish of the house (swai) and added extra spicy onto it - I swear they have some addicting element to these ceviches as I can never get enough. My girl friends also enjoyed the tallarin verde ( pesto fettuccine pasta ) with lomo saltado. The meat was very tender and the pesto sauce so yummy. The service was top tier during our visit. They have searing inside as well as some patio seating outside. Will definitely return when in the area to satisfy my ceviche craving!! read more
Took my girlfriend to a weekday lunch to celebrate her birthday. It had been on my list to try for a while. They had a pretty good crowd for a weekday! They offer inside and covered outside seating. We sat inside since I had the baby with me! We each started with a drink , I had ordered the traditional sangria and I was brought the white sangria. Instead of just swapping it for what I wanted , he guilted me into trying the white and made me feel bad. I ended up keeping the white sangria which wasn't what I wanted or really what I liked. We ordered two sushi rolls and the trio lunch special that had seafood rice, calamari and ceviche. All the food was excellent. The drinks were okay, I probably wouldn't drink next time I went. Service was sort of slow once food came ect. Took awhile to get bill and had to ask another server to check us out after we had been there for 2 hours. read more

I rarely ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to after this experience because I'm genuinely shocked and disappointed. I placed an order for delivery, and what I received was completely unacceptable. The meat was practically raw--red and bloody in the center--as if it had just been seared on the outside and sent out without being cooked properly. Thankfully, I was home and able to cook it myself, but that's not what anyone expects when ordering from a restaurant. The worst part is I actually ate a piece before realizing how raw it was, and I can still feel it lodged in my throat--it made me nauseous and disgusted. I still feel sick thinking about it. To make matters worse, the risotto arrived cold, and the yucas a la huancaína were undercooked--I had to finish them in the air fryer just to make them edible. I honestly should have listened to the other one-star reviews because they were absolutely right. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again, and I'd strongly caution others to think twice before doing so, especially for delivery orders. read more

As a Peruvian living in another city, it's always nice to go back to South Florida, especially since I get to eat all the Peruvian food I want. Not that Orlando doesn't have any, but really you'll find some of the best in South Florida. Anyways I went to eat with Family at Embarcadero 41. I wasn't too sure about this place because I don't really like Peruvian fusion places (I like the traditional dishes, thank you very much), but I decided to check it out anyway and I'm so glad I did! Rather than going with my usual Lomo Saltado or Causa, I went with Anticuchos de Lomo Fino, which was so good! The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked at the temperature I wanted. The Peruvian Crispy Corn was tasty and the yellow potato was well seasoned. Everything about this dish was delicious! I can't speak for the other dishes at the table since I didn't try them, but it did look good! While this place was super busy the staff did their best to try to seat us right away. We wanted an indoor table, but did not want to sit at the bar, so we ended up sitting outside within a few minutes one of the staff members informed us of an available table indoor. The inside is nice, very relaxing. Overall the experience was great, I enjoyed this place and can't wait to try the rest of the menu the next time I'm visiting. read more
Can in for happy hour, I do appreciate its the entire restaurant so site where you'd like. Food and drink options were plentiful so also great. But I wasnt a fan of the poke tacos, they came out as a full order and I didn't want to start eating something I didn't order or want to pay for and glad I didn't. They had no flavor and the wonton shell was soggy. I did enjoy the octopus and edamame were good (maybe to saucy). If im in the area I may go back but I won't seek out going. read more

Food was so yummy and the wait staff were excellent - very polite and attentive to our needs. We ordered the octopus - so full of flavor, with choclo (jumbo corn) and roasted potatoes in an amazing sauce, along with tuna ceviche, yucca fries, and a seafood rice dish that was super tasty. The wait time was a bit long but I can understand why - they were fully packed and the food was great. read more

Everything was a 5/5, times three since my friends would agree! Our server was super sweet and patient with great recommendations like the chilcano maracuya bebida (drink) which had no egg whites. We started with a few appetizers which included octopus (grilled perfectly) and an avocado roll. For our meals we tried the chicken chaufa and Lolo saltado which were all perfectly seasoned. Of course the steak portion we wish was larger but everything was satisfying. The outdoor seating was a nice touch as we went for lunch it wasn't too busy. The ambiance is great for a quick lunch or even a nice date night dinner. read more

Looking through the windows looks inviting. The place looks very clean( it is a fairly new restaurant location). All staff I encountered smiled and said hello. I ordered for pick up on a Saturday 7:30 pm and it was ready to pick up 8:10pm. Pricing was above normal for a dinner plate( but taste explains why). They have a very extensive menu selection. And so many things look so good on the menu. I'm looking forward to try many things. read more
