If you love Peruvian food, this is definitely a place to visit! My good friend is from Peru so she knows the best places to visit and this was definitely one of them. This restaurant was beautifuly decorated and gave a real modern and cozy vibe. We came in during lunch time, and it wasnt busy so the service was very spot on! I tried the lomo saltado.this meal came with chicken, sautéed vegetables, white rice and French fries. It was my first time trying it and it was absolutely delicous! Big portion for the price as well! My friend had the churrasco steak with as I call it the 'green spaghetti" Lol I tried her meal and absolutely delicious! Although I order from this restaurant a few times a month, today was my first time dining here. I sat at the bar and was not only welcomed, but treated like family. I was stunned to see the restaurant so busy for a stormy Monday night, but the ambiance was exceptional with a pleasant playlist of soft samba-style music. I started with a glass of Chardonnay and a bowl of chicken noodle soup, then enjoyed a fresh Miami Heat roll, followed by the creamiest, most delicious cheesecake I've had in my now long life. It was a passion fruit blend and a far cry from your average cheesecake. It was just the right ending to my relaxing day off. Dined here with another couple. Really nice spot with good service and a vast menu. We tried many different things and loved the majority of them. I would definitely stay away from the deep fried stuff. I'm not sure how often they're changing their oil, but I didn't like the taste too much of our deep fried items. I came to Ceviche Arigato to meet a friend for lunch. It's located in Weston. At first glance the restaurant looks cozy with a low light, moody ambiance. It's in a strip mall, but it's elevated. The have an extensive menu with all the typical Peruvian dishes. I opted to get their grilled octopus as an appetizer and a glass of white wine. The dish was so big that it ended up being my lunch. The consistency was delicious. You don't get the whole tentacle, they slice it up for you. You get plenty of potatoes and corn. It was fantastic. Service was very good. Our water was very attentive. Also he was dressed very nicely as well. My only complain is that they don't have a liquor license so I could get a pisco sour lol. It's not a deal breaker of course, just my own personal hang up. This was not our intended destination but I'm happy we ended up here. We've never been to a Peruvian Japanese fusion restaurant and weren't sure what to expect. Our server was very nice and patient. Every time he came to take our order, we still didn't know what we wanted. Decisions were finally made and we were all extremely happy with our meals. My husband still talks about how much he loved his Arrizotado Con Mariscos! After we had finished eating, our daughter left the table to go to the restroom. While she was gone, the staff went to a table behind us to sing Happy Birthday to a customer. Well it was our daughter's birthday that day. We weren't planning on doing a public acknowledgment but when we heard that, we figured it was a perfect! A few minutes after daughter came back to the table, the staff came over to sing to her. What an amazing experience. I came here on a Saturday for dinner with my family at their Weston location. My 3 young nephews LOVED the food and gobbled it right down. They each got steak rice and fries. They were very generous with the kids and were able to provide them with kids cups as well. My sister ordered 4 sushi rolls and all were more delicious than the next. The arigato roll, the lomo roll, Miami heat and tiradito roll. All were so so yummy. We also got their classic ceviches which were delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. They sang happy birthday with an extravagant celebration, flashing lights, a song on the whole restaurant and delicious Peruvian donuts called picarones, a must try! 10/10 recommend. read more

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my wifes's birthday and a friends visit from New York, We were greeted immediately and shown to our table despite being 20 min late for our reservation. Staff were courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was tastefully apportioned, dim lighting but quite able to see and read the exhaustive menu, soft music and a huge sce slid3 show of Peru and japan showing the intertwining cultures. Our waitress Magdaly should be cloned! Not only was she knowledgeable about the ingredients and manner of preparation of the varied dishes on the menu (one member of our dining party desired vegan choices and alternatives), she had photos of the various exotic looking dishes. The grilled octopus with roasted potatoes and grilled corn (large enough to share as an appetizer for four people was amazing, truly delicious and had each of us searching for the Peruvian Panca spice they used on the grilled items on amazon. Imagine a Smokey mild chili pepper with hints of fruity,berry and earthy undertones. Extremely flavorful. One person wanted a more Japanese fusion item and had the huge salmon and crab roll (8 very large pieces with mounds of salmon and crab in a delightful sauce. Our vegan member was very pleased with Tallarin Salgado de Veggies (sort of a vegetable lo mein). The other dishes were outstanding in portion and flavor! Arroz con Mariscos (seafood flavored rice shrimp, scallops,calamari,baby clams and mussels with green peas. And the surpise winner was arrizotado de lomo Saltado, a yellow pepper and white bean risotto with Parmesan cheese and skirt steak. The birthday acknowledgement from the entire waitstaff with fireworks (sparklers) music and light show and flan desert large enough for all four of us with happy birthday on the plate spelled out in powdered chocolate was a Amazing! We will certainly be returning to work our way through the other menu items. A truly nice (reasonably priced) dining experience!! 5 stars read more

What a treat! My friends and I were on the fence between Peruvian or Japanese food the other night for dinner. And low and behold, Yelp finds me a Peruvian restaurant with a Japanese twist to it. It's a cute little place hidden in a Weston strip Plaza. The service was super. And the waitress even surprised my friend on her meal bc she couldn't make a decision between two different meals. I am searching for a Peruvian restaurant that serves to-die-for food. Our favorite one in Davie/Hollywood shut down during the pandemic. So, I read Yelp reviews about this place before going. The restaurant is located in a strip mall near a Publix (with ample parking but the lot gets packed at dinner time). As noted in the reviews, the restaurant is a bit dim. But I didn't find it distracting or a bother. The place still has a nice atmosphere. The music was a tad loud, especially when the restaurant gets full (and it did at dinnertime on a Saturday). It is difficult to hear each other over the other conversations and the music. Now to the food. My husband and I shared the ceviche pescado as an appetizer. The lime was strong, the way we like it, and although not every piece of fish was soft (a few were a bit chewy), we thoroughly enjoyed the robust flavor. My husband had the lomo saltado, and we both agreed that the beef was not tender enough. I had the pollo saltado con tacu tacu. I forgot to let them know I could not eat onions that were not well-cooked, and when the plate arrived at the table I had to send it back. They were less than half-way cooked. But they gladly obliged and recooked the onions. The chicken was a tad dry (the waitress said that they always use chicken breast), but the tacu tacu was divine. (I have a little leftover that I will be having for lunch tomorrow.) We shared a flan (too firm and not much flavor, you need the syrup) and a creme brulee with quinoa for dessert. The latter was very good, but we thought the quinoa was not a great addition. It had no taste and just added a beady texture to the dessert when it hit your tongue. Well, here I go again...I "had" to go there because of a birthday and the birthday girl wanted this place. I thought that there are always opportunities that should be given to places and people but it's that I NEVER liked the food here. Not even the basics. And the fact that my reviews are erased tells me that now I understand the flock of good reviews. Peru is the country with the BEST food in Latin America and this doesn't represent them at all. I got a ceviche that lacked of grace and was cut in too tiny pieces, it also tasted like fish. I know what you're thinking but a good connoisseur will now what I am talking about. So, I can't say I won't go again because for some reason my friends like it, but if it was for me, there's no good Peruvian food on this place - Periodt. And Yelp, do better. I love Peruvian and Asian food. Peruvian food has some Asian elements to their cuisine, which is why I enjoy going to these restaurants that emphasize the Asian side and builds on it. The Lomo Saltado was delicious. It's a Peruvian classic but certain places don't do it right because by the time it gets to you the fries are soggy and the meat is chewy which is distasteful. However this one was perfect, the meat was juicy and tender, the fries were crispy, I definitely recommend. The fried fish was also perfect, unfortunately I forgot its name, but trust me when I say that it was perfectly battered, crispy in the outside, soft and delicious in the inside. By far my favorite thing in the menu. The service was also spot on. Our server was super attentive and friendly. I really don't have anything bad to say. Even the bathroom was super clean. I remember one of my friends told me, you can tell how clean the kitchen is by looking at their bathroom and I agree 100%. Had lunch here today with the family. I've been here many times before, as we love Peruvian food. In the past, I would have given this place 5 stars. Today, I left a bit disappointed for a few reasons. When we arrived, we noticed the improved ambiance and change in decor, added botanicals. Hadn't been in many months so was nice to see the improvements. I also noticed a strong fragrance pumped through the air when I walked in. I recognized the smell immediately as the fragrance my favorite local boutique pumps through their air. As a health conscious person who tries to avoid toxins, I did not appreciate the smell (I don't appreciate it at the boutique and I certainly don't appreciate it at a restaurant where they should instead take pride in the amazing smells coming from their kitchen and not pump chemicals through the air). The scent was so powerful, my throat burned when I left and I could smell it all over my clothes and hair when I got home. Lastly, I was disappointed with the bill. We paid $6 to upgrade to Corvina only ceviche, which I'm fine with, but for the first time ever we were charged $3 extra for aji Amarillo sauce. The raviolis were $20 on the menu but $22 on the bill. And, a tip of 20% was included in the bill (likely because we were a party of 6). However, our waitress made no mention of it when she brought the bill. In my opinion, this is deceptive. Even if it seems obvious.m, the restaurant/ wait staff should acknowledge it. I'm certain we'll be back again, but I don't regard this restaurant as highly as I used to. For many year I have been visiting Ceviche Arigato. We have celebrated birthdays, New years, Anniversaries, etc... I never took the time to write a review, but they deserve it. The food is delicious, the servers ( Betty, Alfredo, Pablo, Mada, and the people that you never see, because they are in the kitchen. all of them are excellent. they make this restaurant very special, Betty don't be jealous. you are outstanding. you go above and beyond. Betty is the reason why my recent catering for my mom birthday celebration was a success. she not only help me with food selection, but gave me precious tips on how to present and serve it. We really enjoyed our pick up order from this place. We got the fried yuca, the lomo saltado, two chaufas, one of chicken, the other with seafood, pescado a lo macho and two maracuya cheesecakes. Since I was getting food for my parents too, I asked them to separate our order from my parents order into separate bags. They did what we asked without hesitation. My parents loved the food and so did we. The portions are generous and filling. And the staff is really accommodating and kind. They even brought the pick up out to our car, for curbside service. We have been to this place twice and everything we have tried have been amazing. Great taste and presentation.

This is a local hidden gem. I called ahead to make a reservation and when we arrived they walked us to our table immediately and knew me by my name. The ambiance is a bit dark and romantic! As Covid precaution they have an acrylic dividers between all tables. There was a couple of people who came to our table throughout the night and all assisted with taking orders, bring drinks, foot etc. The food was all delicious and had a very fair price.
