We went to the location in Westin because it had a waterside outside patio! It was beautiful! The staff was great and the restaurant had a lot of staff! At one point I watched them get together to rick to the music playing showing how comfortable they were with each other and loving the atmosphere. The staff also helped each other with table requests through the meal! This restaurant was recommended by a local Floridian so we had to go there! The food was plentiful - we could not finish the beer or the nachos or we would not have been able to finish our meal, the ribs had a little too much sauce but next time I would ask for less. The ribs were cooked perfectly - falling off of the bone! This was a great find- we will go again! read more

This was the first time in a while I've eaten in this location. It's got the sports bar feel and it's pleasant enough, especially outside. They do a fair amount with fish and it's reasonably priced. Their fish sandwiches are fresh and not bad at all. Their miss was with the service. The waitress today seemed overwhelmed with the number of tables and everything took a while. We were having a leisurely lunch so it didn't matter so much ... but it was definitely noticeable. But all in all, I'd go back another time because it was "fine". read more

Hailey was our server and she is an asset to Flanigan's. She knows the detailed menu inside and out. Great recommendations. My better half had the Philly Cheese Steak with sweet potato fries substituted for an up-charge. Advertised as just like Philadelphia. It was not, but the cheese steak was tasty nonetheless. I had the fried shrimp off the value menu. The shrimp had a spicy coating. It came with a Caesar salad and a choice of a side and I picked a baked potato with butter and sour cream. Ambiance leaned heavily into a sea motif with a live fish tank. Separated bar with many tv's for sports watching in the bar and many in the restaurant area. Came here on Saturday for lunch and honestly the experience was just... MEH. We were seated right away, which was great. Our waitress came over almost immediately and took our drink order, and the waters came out quickly, so the start was promising. After that though, things kind of slowed down. It took a bit before she came back around so we could place our food order. I ordered the large Caesar salad with blackened chicken and a side of 5 BBQ wings, and my boyfriend ordered 10 hot wings with garlic. The food didn't take too long to come out, but unfortunately the chicken on my salad was completely inedible. I'm not exaggerating when I say it tasted like rubber... almost jelly-like. Just really strange texture and definitely not good. The salad itself was also weirdly soggy, and somehow there were random pieces of french fries tossed in my salad, which honestly kind of grossed me out. My boyfriend also found random french fry pieces mixed in with his wings, even though he didn't order fries with them. The wings themselves were okay -- not bad, but nothing to rave about either. Service-wise, our waitress wasn't rude or anything, but she seemed pretty checked out. Every time she came by it was just a quick "you good?" and then she was gone again. It didn't feel very attentive, just kind of rushed and uninterested. Overall the whole experience felt pretty lackluster. Not terrible, but definitely not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to. Honestly, if you want a great Flanigan's experience, the Sunrise location by the Panther Stadium is where it's at. The service and food there are consistently WAY better. read more

This was by far the worst experience at any Flanigan's I have had. We ate outside on the patio and the music was so loud that five of us were yelling to one another. When we asked the server to lower the volume of the (absolutely horrible and strange) music she advised us that they are under new management and the manager refuses to lower the music volume. So I requested to speak to the manager. He said well I can't lower the music inside but I can out here. So I said great please do. He did. Five minutes later the volume was louder than before he lowered it. We were even told by our server that they have so many complaints from people including their regulars but the manager ignores the complaints and plays the music loud anyway. Until this policy changes we won't be back. Terrible mistake if your regulars won't go and you don't listen to their requests. read more

Sunday funday! A gentleman friend gave me Flanigans craving when he posted on Friday. So of course I headed Broward to one of my favorite locations. What makes this location so better?!?! Well they offer outdoor seating that has water view! Bingo for us! Since we were hungry and it was Sunday football season at 1pm peak time. We requested 1st available seating. We were told the wait was about 15 minutes but it was actually less than 5 minutes. Our waiter came to us right away to get our drink orders. Buy hey! When u crave Flanigans all weekend... you know what you want especially when you have been there before. So of course I requested Pinot Grigio and momma bear had her Chardonnay. ( they have both) We ordered the rib rolls, dolphin fingers and curly fries! All I can say is yum yum yum! Then we requested the desert to sing happy birthday to a special someone in heaven! So delish and chocolatey ! Perfect for the chocolate lovers. Besides the Miami Dolphins losing our bites were delish. We decided to free our table and have another glass of wine at the bar. There was enough seating around the bar . The staff were attentive at the table and bar. I also feel as this location has more tv screens all around the restaurant not only just the bar area. Visiting here in Weston, FL and tried Flanigan's as it was by the hotel. Overall it's a good place to eat at with TONS of options, the menu is huge and it's got variety from pasta to steaks to burgers and wraps. The portions are big making the prices fair. The salad salad was pretty basic but good portion - just wish there was more veggie on it as it felt lettuce heavy. The blacked chicken was delish so I definitely recommend topping the salad with it. Asked for buffalo as my dressing but it was a weird buffalo sauce as it tasted oily/buttery - so I did not love that but glad it was on the side. The shrimp pastas were also good pretty basic but got the job done. The lemon butter sauce that came with the shrimp scampi was better in my opinion than the sauce that came on the pasta. The lemon chicken was tasty but nothing out of this world, and Cajun pasta has good flavor. The best thing by far was the rolls! If you go for anything make sure you get those and dip them in that lemon butter side with the pasta! Those were awesome!! Service was good and waitress handed the large group well. It's a fun atmosphere and can sit inside or outside. Overall good place and you will find something for everyone on the menu. read more

This was our first time visiting this location even though I lived in the area for 12 years prior to moving. We arrived late and upon walking in, it was kind of confusing since there was not a host stand immediately and it was a takeout counter. We wanted to sit at the bar but surprisingly, every seat was taken. Finally, someone working the takeout assisted us in finding us a table to be sat at. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was superb! She was attentive and everything arrived as ordered. She had dark blonde hair, maybe mid-late 20's. Hubs and I wanted the Joe's Meal Deal, which comes with a drink, so we ordered the drinks according to what is allowed. Oh, but you can upgrade! I upgraded my wine but hubs kept his beer as is. Hubs ordered the half rack and I ordered the shrimp. We were starving! I requested to go boxes for our salads since the salads were huge and it was going to be too much. The food arrived quickly and everything tasted amazing, as always. We wanted to order another round as they were closing, to which our server put in for us. Probably wouldn't order that again, just not my taste but everything was well made. Their rolls are amazing. Overly generous soda serving. Some humor on the menu, calling a fish sandwich "dolphin" with an asterisk at the bottom it really isn't. Walls are decorated with pics of men fishing together. Be cautious on anything that comes out of this kitchen they clearly do not follow safety procedures and do not know what they are doing. Been coming to this location for about 15 years, the last time I ever went there was 5 months ago and I don't think I'll ever go back. Ordered the chipotle chicken stack sandwich and it was so raw in the middle, i don't know how this was served to me but it was, I ate nearly the entire sandwich before i realized how undercooked this chicken was. Said something to the server and the manager came out to talk to us. They took my phone number and address down when it happened and said i would receive a call from the corporate office and that i would be invited back. Never received a call from them or anything at all in the mail, situation was handled terribly by management and I'm not sure if corporate was notified or not but they didn't bother to reach out and see if I got sick from their malpractice. Don't know what's going on in their kitchen but clearly they don't follow food safety procedures and are even worse at handling mistakes when they do happen. Terrible way to handle a really serious situation, it's a shame I won't be going back to one of my favorite restaurants because of how unsanitary they are and the way they treat loyal customers. read more

The prices were low, the food was great, and our server was busting his butt; we gave him a nice tip. Actually if this restaurant was in Chicago, the price on our bill would be doubled. LOL! All the food had great flavor, I really enjoyed the "award-winning" chicken wings and fried shrimp. The hubby enjoyed his mahi-mahi. On the menu, it's called Dolphin, and then AKA mahi-mahi. I had the bbq ribs. The sauce had a great flavor. The biggest winner was the Snickerdoodle Daddy! Here's the description of the dessert: A huge, six-inch, warm snickerdoodle cookie, topped with two ginormous scoops of Edy's classic vanilla ice cream, garnished with two rolled vanilla wafers, covered with a landslide of toasted cinnamon crunchies, topped with a snowdrift of whipped cream and a miniature Snickers bar then drizzled with multiple stripes of caramel sauce. Yeah all of that and it was only $9.99. Flanigan's has multiple locations, but we visited the Weston, Florida restaurant. They're doing good work there! :-) read more

Used to be our family's favorite & a must visit. Has now become unenjoyable and on the verge of becoming a restaurant that we will avoid in the future and tell family and friends to not waste their time there. We've been eating at Flanagan's for over a decade. The location in Weston was a great spot for lunch and dinner in large or small groups. Our last two visits were disappointing. Our server went out of their way to be friendly and took our order. The food then was served incorrectly. When we were waiting for the correct meal to be served, our group was then left with some eating but not all able to. The ambiance was strange in that their music went from a feel good background set to a death metal set and then on to another variety of music. The volume also seemed to rise and fall as though it had no set decibel level, which left our group trying to communicate over the screeching vocals. Our missing food finally arrived and we took it "to-go," However, there were no utensils included with the "to-go" order. Overall, it was disappointing and our group couldn't wait to leave. I wouldn't take family or friends anymore and I'm sad to say that, as Flanigan's has been a staple in the past. I would say try a different location for a true Flanigan's experience! read more

Flannigan's is always good, and some locations are better than others. This was a smaller Flannigan's which was nice. I had just read the 10 best dishes at Flannigan's in an article and they recommended the nacho chips. I have never ordered them there before, or seen it being delivered to the table. If I had I would have waited for a group of friends LOL. It was HUGE. Loaded Nachos - $11.99 -" A mountain of our crispy homemade white corn tortilla chips piled with beef & bean chili, melted cheese, pico di gallo, jalapeños, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream." They were not kidding about the mountain of chips! They were really good and only a small pile of tortilla chips n in the middle did not have chili or cheese or something on them. The chili was delicious, the cheese was still warm and the toppings were fresh and tasty. I left more than half on the plate - there was just no way to eat it all, and nachos don't keep well. So I would order them again , but only with a few people sharing it. Server was pleasant and brought things very quickly! read more
