But this place is clearly a place to Drink First and Eat Second, the drink menu has more options than the food!!!! Entrees took long so we took them to go, but overall it's a lovely place definitely would recommend and come back Food 6 out 10 Service 9 out of 10

I love the orange blossom half beer on tap. It's the smoothest beer I think I've ever had. Also tried two new appetizers this time. The crispy Brussels sprouts which had a spicy sauce and a great dipping sauce on them. These Brussels are downright addicting! Then we also tried the margherita flatbread which came as a circular pizza shape and was delicious! You can tell these are made fresh to order as everything about it was flavorful. Can't wait to visit Yardhouse again soon!

After a major disappointment finding out that Gabose Pocha was closed for renovations, we ended up…read moreat this Irish pub I used to visit years ago. When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. It's been years since I last visited, but after this experience, I'll definitely be going back soon.

The Food We didn't hold back on the menu, and honestly,…read moreeverything hit the mark: * Breakfast Pizza: This was a standout. Perfectly thin, crispy crust topped with fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh veggies. It's a great twist on a classic and very shareable. * Chicken and Waffles: The waffles were thick and airy with just the right amount of powdered sugar and butter. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well--definitely a soul-food win. * French Toast: If you have a sweet tooth, get this. It came topped with fresh berries and paired perfectly with their syrup. * Sides & Sips: The grits were creamy, and the cocktails I knocked about 6 old fashioned and the lemon drops were refreshing and well-made. The Vibe The outdoor seating area has a great atmosphere--lively but relaxed. It's an ideal spot for a "Sunday Funday" or a break from shopping. The service was attentive, and the food came out hot and fresh

How does that make any sense? If there was no availability, why was I able to book a reservation in the first place? What made the situation even worse was how it was handled. The staff was rude, dismissive, and offered no meaningful explanation or attempt to make things right. It came across as completely disorganized and unprofessional. I was actually looking forward to eating here because I had a good experience at Matchbox in Washington, DC. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed my impression of the brand. After the way we were treated, I probably won't be back.

The place feels old and not particularly well-kept, which gave me the sense it wasn't the cleanest. The layout is straightforward, though the bar itself is large with plenty of seating and standing space. There are high-top tables near the main door and a game area on the far left with several dart boards, more high-tops, and TVs. I ordered a watermelon basil spritz from their cocktail menu, but it was pretty underwhelming--decent, but nothing special. Then again, this is more of a "hole-in-the-wall" sports bar, so I wasn't expecting fancy cocktails. For food, I ordered the Philly steak and cheese, which arrived in about 20 minutes and was served hot. It was okay, about what you'd expect for the setting. The crowd was fairly small for a Thursday night. The inside of the bar definitely shows its age; the furniture, floors, and decor feel dated. There's noticeable dust on all wall decor, which didn't help with the vibe. One odd detail: liquor bottles behind the bar are kept quite low, sitting just a few inches from the floor on wooden shelves. Also, under the pool table, you can see old dartboards and boxes, which looked haphazardly shoved there rather than stored neatly. The lighting is dim, as you'd expect in a bar, but the bartenders seemed a bit rushed and not particularly friendly. I was asked four times if I knew what I wanted, which felt a little pushy, especially since it was my first visit and I wanted to explore the menu. I probably won't be back anytime soon, but if I do, I'll be sure to update my review.

We sat in the outdoor area, which has both table seating and an outside bar. It was definitely busy when we arrived around 7:30 p.m. because the band was playing, so tables were pretty close together and the atmosphere was lively and energetic. The music was really good and made for a great night out. Their menu has a little bit of everything -- pizza, wings, burgers, wraps, salads, and more. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, which was fresh and really good. My friends enjoyed southwest chicken salads and a wrap. Drink-wise, I tried a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and delicious, while others had margaritas and beer. Later in the evening I was still a little hungry, so I ordered the garlic knots -- and I'm glad I did. They were more like bite-sized pieces of dough tossed in lots of garlic and olive oil, and they were so flavorful. Service was okay, but understandable considering how packed it was. Overall, this is definitely a great local spot if you're looking for live entertainment, a fun atmosphere, and some pretty good bites with friends on the weekend.
