This was my first visit to this bar, which is conveniently only about 8 minutes from home. I'd heard mixed reviews, so when a group of friends decided to go, I tagged along to check it out. First impression: there's a distinct, odd smell as you walk in. The place feels old and not particularly well-kept, which gave me the sense it wasn't the cleanest. The layout is straightforward, though the bar itself is large with plenty of seating and standing space. There are high-top tables near the main door and a game area on the far left with several dart boards, more high-tops, and TVs. I ordered a watermelon basil spritz from their cocktail menu, but it was pretty underwhelming--decent, but nothing special. Then again, this is more of a "hole-in-the-wall" sports bar, so I wasn't expecting fancy cocktails. For food, I ordered the Philly steak and cheese, which arrived in about 20 minutes and was served hot. It was okay, about what you'd expect for the setting. The crowd was fairly small for a Thursday night. The inside of the bar definitely shows its age; the furniture, floors, and decor feel dated. There's noticeable dust on all wall decor, which didn't help with the vibe. One odd detail: liquor bottles behind the bar are kept quite low, sitting just a few inches from the floor on wooden shelves. Also, under the pool table, you can see old dartboards and boxes, which looked haphazardly shoved there rather than stored neatly. The lighting is dim, as you'd expect in a bar, but the bartenders seemed a bit rushed and not particularly friendly. I was asked four times if I knew what I wanted, which felt a little pushy, especially since it was my first visit and I wanted to explore the menu. Wanted to try this neighborhood bar on West Oakland Park Blvd for the first time to watch the Miami Dolphin game and have a few drinks. We were told that they give customers a heavy pour and fun times with nothing fancy. The Yelp reviews were 50/50 so wanted to take a chance. We drive to the plaza and notice about seven middle-aged men standing in front of the bar doors. I thought, wow, this place is hopping. Well, we drive closer and notice a thick cloud of smoke rising from the men who were chain smoking cigarettes at the front door, which is a pet peeve of mine. We parked and gave it deep thought but were aggravated, left and went to Legends Bar down the street. Very disappointed, and one of my only 1 star reviews and could not even make it inside...We tried, and not sure how to resolve the front door smoking issue - maybe puff out back like employees and customers have to do at most establishments. read more

Not to far from my job, a co-worker invited me. Its literally a dive bar and they have pool. Music was ok, played a little Latin music so i was happy with that. This place is a home run! Came in the other evening looking for some late night food. This place popped up and had surprisingly great reviews. I knew of the area as we've been to About Time Cafe next door. This place has such a nice ambiance inside. I describe it as upscale dive bar. Everything was very clean and I felt very comfortable eating there. Ended up ordering a Makers Mark to drink and a Philly Cheese Steak for dinner. The Philly was great, had lots of flavor. Upgraded to the Jersey fries which are their version of season fries. Also recommend that. Prices were very reasonable and would definitely return. I just wish it was closer to the house. It had a chill vibe the second we walked in. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We felt like we belonged there right away. They have impressive bar specials, especially since we went on a Saturday. We only had a snack but I'm convinced anything you order, either in house or to go/delivery, will be on point. Stopped by before a Panthers game. The Inn-Field is located in a strip mall so plenty of free parking. This is Florida, so of course it was smoky inside. It's definitely a local bar. The bartender Lea knew almost every patron by name and was very friendly to us newbs. The drinks are strong & cheap. We started with fried pickles. The breading tasted like they're made in-house. They were tasty but could have been left in the fryer longer because they were undercooked. My husband & I split an order of honey garlic wings. The ultimate local dive. Nothing remotely flashy here. Its almost like stepping in a time warp! People smoke inside (consider yourself warned). There are a lot of regulars at the Inn-Field. And you can see why. The place is very chill with a large bar with seating and hightop tables. Billiards and dart boards surround the bar and they have a pretty good karaoke night. Waitstaff snd bartenders are always friendly. Drinks are inexpensive. They serve food as well and have some of the best wings in south florida. I wanted to update my review as I was there 3 years ago and was unimpressed and a little grossed out even... Post-Covid I had heard they had made a few changes so I went back and visited one late Friday night. Well they have made A LOT of changes.. one major change was they no longer smoke inside. This is huge deal as the bar now has a fresher cleaner feel. The vibe is great and the bartenders are really nice. It's open late with karaoke, darts, and pool for entertainment. February 8th 5:50pm, my brother and I walked in to shoot some pool after a long day at work. We put our dollar in the machine was starting to rack the balls, worker came over to us asking for our id's we both showed we were over the age of 21 the worker proceeded to tell us "the pool table is only for drinking customers" we tried to order a sprite and coke to still be able to play to release some stress. I am unable to drink alcohol due to having borderline liver disease and have recently had my gallbladder removed so I am no longer able to drink due to a medical conditions and my brother is 397 days sober so we obviously left and told the owner to keep his $1 that he offered back. This is disgusting as we were still planning to buy sodas and maybe some sort of an appetizer. I will never go back to this location if this is how you treat customers in order to have us use a pool table we have to pay you still to use since it's $1 per game, You should be disgusted at yourselves as you have still lost out on pocketing some extra profit we were not even trying to just play pool for $1 as we would have spent some money. I came here to see a friend's band perform. They had quite a variety of artists during the night, so I'm not sure I could classify this bar in any particular way or generalize about the type of people you'd usually see here. There seemed to be a mix of everybody. There were big, comfy couches in front of the stage, and a ton of seating near the bar and pool tables, so I'm sure it gets pretty busy here on non-weeknights. The drinks are reasonably priced, and its an overall pleasant atmosphere. Parking is not a problem, and I'll definitely be going here again soon to take advantage of some of their drink specials. I went to this bar for the 3rd time last night and I have to say it really is an awesome place to go have drinks and hangout with good people. I've encountered some pretty chill regulars these past few times I've been here. There's always some sort of entertainment going on. I've had a blast laughing on poker night & karaoke night just sitting back and watching. They all really make you feel at home and ok to just relax. I will defiantly be making this my regular spot. Not to mention the bar tenders are really fucking cool especially Rene! You know when she is behind the bar becuase the place is packed. That chick rocks and makes drinks on point.
