This is a hidden gem that I found a few years ago. Although it's a "Steelers" Bar (I'm a diehard EAGLES fan ) it exemplifies what it is to be an old-school Pennsylvania sports bar. First, multiple areas both inside and outside to enjoy yourself. The food is incredible!!! First, the wings are hands-down the best I had outside of update New York. Second the burgers are the perfect match to the ice cold beers. Their pizza is a contender to what I ember from Philly. But the "Dark Horse" is the fried fish sandwich! It's hard to call it a sandwich when the fish filet is SO big you have to eat half of the fish to be able to start to see the bun. It's perfectly made and NOT some crap frozen square fish filet. Always take an entire sandwich home because it takes you that long to even be able to assemble it as a sandwich. As for service, well that goes without saying. It's what you would expect from a local bar. Friendly service. Bartenders who remember you and your drink. LOTS of return customers. I opted for the garlic Parm, but they have at least 10 different flavors to choose from but if you're not into having wings for the night, they have a huge bar menu. We came during the day where it wasn't so busy but I know it's a steelers bar and during football season on game night it's usually slammed. The service is great and the ambience is fun. The wings here were tasty, I got 10 during happy hour with the mayong sauce, a homemade sauce. The service here is the best, really top notch staff who want to provide the ultimate experience. The parking lot is spacious so parking shouldn't be too much of a hassle unless you visit during a Steelers game as this is a Steelers bar. Our waiters let us sample the clam chowder as well as the vegetable soup. Billy's Tavern menu offers a wide variety of goodies and I hope to visit again in the future. Came to Billy's Taven specifically to try the pierogis. However, I ended up ordering a lot more than that because the menu was so expansive and everything looked so good! We ended up ordering the steel city pierogis, crazy curly fries, a large cheese pizza and 8 medium garlic parm wings. The pierogis came out first and they did not disappoint! Ive only ever had a boiled pierogis, Ive never had one that was pan fried. Crazy delicious, especially with the sautéed onions. Then came the curly fries (which we ordered without bacon). The fries were crispy, they were also cheesy, and the jalapenos added a nice heat. A perfect appetizer. The cheese pizza had a nice soft crust, which is great especially for kids. However, the pizza had a lot of flop to it, could have used maybe a few more minutes to firm up the undercarriage, but overall was pleasantly surprised about how great this pizza could be considering its not a pizza place per se. The wings were a great size, had fantastic flavor, however, maybe a little too saucy. I ordered my wings well done, and they were still a little soggy because the amount of sauce. Easily fixable and I know how to adjust my order for next time. With all of the food and two soft drinks, the total came to around $60 which honestly feels like a steal considering how much food it was, and how great the quality was. I've been here for the pierogies before, but it was just okay. I decided to stop by here again, this time for Tuna melt and New England clam chowder. Both were piping hot. The melt was delicious, full of flavor. Sam took care of me with her speedy service. As for ambiance, this is a restaurant with a bar with TV's around. You can expect to watch sports channels. It's not quiet, but not overwhelmingly loud -- comfortable enough to have a conversation where you can hear the other person trying to talk to you. Billys has been a staple for us. I would say consistency is the key and Bill's always is. The wings with myong sauce is absolutely amazing. My favorite is the shrimp with old Bay and the appetizer fish sticks. Tuesday nights is pizza and beer special night so expect it to be very busy, but the pizza is fantastic. (for a sports bar you will be pleasantly surprised). There are TVs everywhere so you can watch pretty much any sporting event unless the Steelers are playing. Billy's Tavern is a staple of the Town of Davie for many years. It's a Pittsburgh Steelers hang out for locals and out-of- towners. I've eaten at this establishment many times and I always found it enjoyable. The waitress staff is always super attentive and friendly. On this last visit we ordered a small pizza with pepperoni a bowl of chili and a bowl of New England clam chowder. All three dishes were absolutely delicious. The pizza is nice and crispy with a great taste. The chili has bountiful of meat, onions, and cheese with a mouth explosion of taste. The clam chowder was filled with clams in each spoon full. Also a great pick if your in for some sea food. It was great comfort food for a wet rainy day. As always the restaurant is busy and you may need reservations for the day. Billy's does have the best fish and chips... WHEN they give you the proper portion. We've been coming here for years. They have a dinner portion and an app portion of the fish. The dinner was always big, thick pieces of fish. The app is a thinner cut. Lately, they've been very inconsistent with sizes. We had three people order the fish and chips dinner. One came out perfect, a second small, and the third was TINY. We ended up sending the tiny one back. When I asked the food runner why the sizes were so different coming to the same table, she responded, "I don't know. They're just two pieces." Needless to say, very displeased with that response. The server was nice and she sent the manager over who was very apologetic. We do love this place usually. They just seriously need to do something about the consistency. Popped into this Pittsburgh Steelers themed sports bar because their parking lot was packed. Waited 5 mins for a table although there were a couple bar seats available. We noticed everyone had pizza so we for sure needed to order one too. Ordered the "Supremo" which had sausage, pepperoni, green peppers and onion. It was not soggy at all and cooked perfectly. Very very good pizza as other reviewers have mentioned. We also ordered a Caesar salad which was good to split between two/three people. It was good, and the croutons especially were good. The Caesar dressing was not too overbearing. Tried some Wingers and they were ok, maybe a little more breading than I would normally like. Sauce was honey bbq, it was a decent sauce, sweet and tangy. Billy's is a fantastic sports bar offering great food and drinks. I ordered the 15 count wings all flats with two flavors - their house specialty Myong sauce and the spicy Cajun BBQ sauce. I loved both sauces. The wings were cooked perfectly and sauced just right. For an appetizer we got the Crazy Curly Fries. These fully loaded fries came drizzled with perfectly melted cheese/cheese sauce. I would order again. The spot was busy for the Panthers playoff game. Billy's Tavern is a locally owned restaurant with a wide selection of food and drinks. It is very popular with the locals causing the restaurant to accept reservations. However, their reservation system needs a major overhaul. My family and I waited over 30 minutes for a table inside while witnessing many tables sitting vacant because of prospective reservations. We were about to leave to find a more accommodating venue but the hostess finally called our name. The restaurant was quite loud causing it to be difficult at times to have a conversation. The salvation of the evening was the friendless and attentiveness of the waitress and the generous portions of the soups and pizza that we ordered. read more

As I worked through my first beer I kept seeing the food come up which looked very good. We went to the restaurant at 6:45 pm on 2/12/26 and they told us we had to wait 25 minutes because the kitchen was super slow. The restaurant was almost empty. Then they sat people outside before us and they said that they were waiting for the manager to say it was OK to seat customers. Thus is a fun sports bar with a pretty big variety of food on the menu. I had the perogies which were good and lightly sautéed so they were buttery but not greasy. They have a big selection of salads too. The wingers are pretty flavorful but a little greasy. I loved the curly fries. The restaurant has a few different areas for dining. The outside is pretty much the best for larger parties and they are a Pittsburgh Steelers bar during NFL football season. Our service was good because it was not very crowded due to the bad weather. We had heard good things about this place and decided to finally give it a try. We ordered carry out the first time and dined in the second time. The wings are excellent and are of a decent size. The fries are good too. When we ordered carry out, they tossed the wings in the sauce; however, the second time, they mistakenly put all the sauces on the side. Wings are so much better when they are tossed in sauce. The server did apologize and said the cooks must have been confused. The service was above average although a little slow at times. The TV setup is great and you can watch sports anywhere in the dining room. I really don't have any major complaints about this restaurant. The only small issue was the sauce on the side. It's been quite some time since I have been to Billy's. We used to go to a hair salon that was in the same plaza and since they moved, we just forgot to go. We headed there yesterday (9/2) for lunch and we were mostly happy. First the service there is super friendly. Our server for the visit was Sam she couldn't be nicer. She really paid attention to our table and kept everyone happy. We started with fried pickles. They come with a siracha mayo that isn't super spicy - it has just the right amount of kick and the pickles weren't fried to smithereens. You could see & taste the pickle. My husband had a blackened chicken sandwich with curly fries. He said it was good and loved the fries. My daughter had 8 wings. She said it was the perfect size. She had the house myong sauce. She said it was a little sweet for her but she liked it and it had the right level of spice for her. I had the fish & chips. It was good. After being a little jealous about the myong sauce I asked Sam for some on the side and it was perfect for the fish! The extra sauce was 50 cents - which was reasonable. The restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. You could tell this was a place where a lot of people are regulars and I can see why. I was a little disappointed that the only fish that they have is swai. It won't keep me from returning, but I will probably try the pizza or something else. read more

Billy's is well deserving of a 5 star rating. My family came here for the 1st time about a month ago & since then we've been back almost once a week. Whether we're talking about the food, customer service, or all around ambiance of the restaurant, it definitely excels on all points. It can be easy to drive right by them on State Road 84, but you should do yourself a favor & stop in to try them out. From outside it doesn't look like much but as you approach it really opens up. There's a massive patio section (which is completely covered) with plenty of room to accommodate any size party. Inside there's tons of bar seating & tables/booths of all sizes. There are multiple sections of the restaurant which are all surrounded by TVs to catch any sports game you might be looking for. It can get pretty busy on the weekend but they're constantly turning tables so you shouldn't be waiting too long; either way it's worth it. Everything on the menu that I've tried since coming here has been great. Whether it's the burgers, wings, fried shrimp, or clam chowder, it's left me wanting more. The food comes out fresh every single time, the kitchen/servers are always hustling & the portions are plenty worth it. You can taste how fresh everything is while chomping into a freshly battered shrimp or perfectly cooked burger. The wings are always plentiful & you can even request all drums or flats if that's something you prefer. Sometimes you'll visit a sports bar & know it'll be your last time. For Billy's, however, 1 visit is all you need to find your new regular spot. If you're craving some wings, come here. If you want one of the best burgers in the area, come here. Came here recently because I heard from a handful of people how amazing it was and needed to see it for myself. The place is relatively small but there is a very decent amount of seats both inside and outside. They also have a bar with high top chairs if you want to sit there. The staff was super friendly and sat us down quickly in the back. The interior is decorated with a huge amount of sports memorabilia along the walls and some pretty cool autographed photos and such! We decided to get the perogies and the wings for appetizers and I am so glad we did. The size of the perogies were amazing and they were crisped to a perfection with the right amount of potato filling inside of it. The flavor was perfect and the sourcream and onions gave it a nice little flavor as well. The wings were amazing and they were super hot and fresh. For my meal I got the Philly cheese steak and it came out and I felt full looking at it. It was massive! There was a great amount of meat on it, which was seasoned wonderfully and the peppers and onions were a nice addition. The cheese was melted perfectly and rounded out the dish! The pizza though???? The pizza is the whole reason I'm writing this review. I was not expecting this pizza to knock it out the park like it did!!! Great sports bar which Steelers decorations! Decided to stop by for dinner on a Friday afternoon and it was completely packed! Parking was difficult to find and wait time was about 40 min. There was a panthers game so lots of people coming to watch game. Once we finally got out table our server was really great and provided with fast and friendly service. I started with a lychee martini which was super strong but definitely delicious. For the kiddos we had a cheeseburger that was cooked perfectly and he really enjoyed it. We also had the tender basket which was also cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My mom and I had the chicken wings (lemon pepper and honey garlic) for me they were cooked well not over done and I loved they weren't over seasoned. My mom would have preferred less fried and more juicy. We also shared a basket of crazy curly fries which were very tasty.
