JP Mulligans is a great local place for drinks, bar fare, and watch the scrimmages. The Dolphin fingers were the best! I'm getting them from now on. They are known for friendly service. I've been coming here since my kids played ice hockey. It's not trendy, it's more like going to Cheers. It's a fun place to hang out with friends.

Went this past Friday night Great service from Crystal L.--- For " bar food " everything we had was good , loved the spinach dip, fish dip some lil chicken rolls ( forgot what they were called ) wings w/ homemade ranch and blue cheese and a classic cheeseburger w/ fries ! We really enjoyed our view , we sat by the window and watched a hockey game while listening to live music ! Enjoyed some drinks as well lol $9.50 though for a pint of Guinness is * CRAZY * and only $7 for a Tito's cocktail !

I came by on a Friday evening with the fellas. The early evening was an older crowd with oldies music. They had a live band show and the younger crowd then arrived. The wings were good and the beers all cold. I expected to be colder than is was being that there's a I've ring attached under one roof.

It's been a while since we went to JP Mulligans in Pembroke Pines. We sat at the bar and ordered some domestic bottled beer. They had a live classic rock and roll band playing on stage from 9pm to Midnight. Danced a few songs and finished our beers. The bar has big glass windows overlooking the ice hockey arena where they had amateur live hockey games in progress.

www.TheRagingFork.com 1st time here in many years during the weekdays. The wooden high chairs were still very wobbly. No drink menus but our waitress Sofia had a handwritten list on a piece of paper with all the beers. (Smart) and great attitude. Not loud at all inside and relaxed like i wanted. Weekends usually have live rock bands until late, very loud but fun. Ordered general tso wings and fresh smoked fish dip which were great great great, the Rodeo chili bowl not so much. The ice skating rink is attached to the restaurant and you can watch the skating thru the glass while you eat (very cool). The place appeared clean and the radio played classic 70s 80s 90s rock n roll. The bathroom was clean which is very important. Will return for the food and Sofia.

This time food was sub par. I feel the quality went down hill. Service was super slow. Might have to cross this off my list. Ambiance is fair. Super loud if you want to have a conversation forget it.

I came for St. Patrick's Day. They had a good celebration going. They had tents, tables, a DJ, food, and a bar set up right in front of the restaurant in the parking lot. outside was cash only. It was a good setup and fun. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. The restaurant inside was very busy. We ate inside. It was not easy to get a table. You had to find it by yourself and the place was crowded. Inside the restaurant, they took credit cards. They had a selected menu for the holiday. I ordered the clam chowder and the hamburger with cheese, bacon, and fries. I personally thought the food was under-seasoned. It was okay.Thank goodness for condiments. The service was slow and the place was packed with people. They did not have enough staff on the floor. Our waitress did her best considering. The place was fun and I had a good time.

This Pembroke Pines Pub has been around since 1999 but it was only recently introduced to me on a Friday night by my girlfriend. Mulligans is located alongside the Pines Ice Arena and it has a large window with tables that overlook the ice. You can sip on drinks and munch on bar food like chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, and potato skins along with Irish favorites like fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherds pie while you watch amateur league hockey games. The bar also has televisions showing sports and live music is offered at night. I really enjoyed my visit here. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We drank a beer, watched hockey, and chatted about life. This isn't your typical bar. JP Mulligans is more fun and family friendly. I saw a lot of kids have dinner with their parents. They have a reasonably priced menu filled with comfort food. It is no wonder they have become a local favorite.

The place has counter seating (with a bar?) and was a bit busy and bustling. There were 15 of us here on a week night for a special birthday dinner. We were given one main server who took all our orders: drinks, appetizers, and entrees. She had very little help and did most of it on her own. It was too much for one person; so, service was a bit slow. We found ourselves eating lots of bread just because we were hungry and needed our food. The first set of rolls that came out were hard as a rock. The second set was softer and more satisfying. We had appetizers that included steamed mussels and egg rolls. Both were good. The main dishes were all over the place with satisfaction levels. Notably, three orders of fish and chips were declared absolutely tasteless. The fish had a heavy breading and no flavor. A chicken dinner was palatable. The Cajun seafood fettuccine was good, so was the shrimp and mahi mahi scampi. There were several drinks ordered at the table and two sent back, including a strawberry daiquiri that came in a 3-inch-tall glass that didn't taste or look like a strawberry daiquiri. There were hits, and there were misses. But we expected better service and better food for the kind of money we spent.

Even though it is a freestanding restaurant, I am told that it can be difficult to find a spot. The venue offers live music on weekend evenings, but we finished eating before it began and were too tired to stay. The restaurant oozes the Irish pub decor and theme. Our waiter, Jordan, was exceptionally friendly and jovial. And he was a master at suggesting alcoholic beverages, once you let him know your likes. We had 2 orders of Irish potato soup, 2 Shepherd's pies with cheddar cheese, 2 orders of the Guinness beef and mushroom pie, 1 cabbage rolls, and one fish and chips. The soup was filled with bacon bits and creamy and luscious. The Guinness pot pies were a bit small, especially because they were so savory. The accompanying mashed potatoes did not come with gravy and there wasn't enough from the pot pies to cover it. The veggies that came with all the entrees were freshly made and without any seasoning. (But it is better to add salt and pepper than to try and remove it.) The fish was a decent size serving, but again, no real seasoning. Nothing that some salt, pepper, and malt vinegar couldn't rectify. The coating was light and crispy. Our alcoholic beverages (Guinness, wine, and a couple of specialty cocktails) were thirst quenching and satisfying. (I loved my prickly pear margarita.) Dinner for 6, including 2 soups, 6 entrees, 8 drinks, tax, and tip was $300.

So that was a waste of time. We left because we specifically went for wings. A give 2 stars because the waitress was nice.

When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. It had a nice Cajun kick and the chicken and shrimp combo worked perfectly together. Super flavorful and honestly one of the better pasta dishes I've had at a place like this. The birria quesadilla was also really good crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. I also tried two beers that were recommended, including an IPA, and both were great choices. The girls working the floor were friendly and doing their best, but the problems here go way beyond them. This feels like a corporate issue, not a staff issue. The food was cooked in seed oils, which already kills the quality and flavor. You can taste the heaviness and the cheapness. For a place that markets itself as a craft‑beer spot with elevated bar food, that's unacceptable. Then the check came and that's where it got worse. Corporate is nickel and diming customers with extra charges, little add‑ons that don't go to the servers and don't improve the experience. It feels sneaky, and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth before you even walk out. The staff is paying the price for decisions they didn't make. They're trying to be nice, but the system they're working under is broken. Overall: Good people, terrible corporate practices, low quality cooking oils, and a bill padded with nonsense. Not worth it.
