After talking about this biker bar for what seemed like forever, we finally made it! Once you get pass the intimidating biker guys parked outside (they were nice! One even complimented my outfit..lol) you're greeted by welcoming staff. This night was super busy, but the bartenders didn't waste any time getting to us with constant check ins. We got beers and ordered some bar bites. The food came out pretty fast and was delicious. The menu has range with affordable prices. Patrons and staff alike were friendly and all about having a good time. The live band was fabulous! They really had the crowd going. Cagney's tend to get loud like most dive bars. I wanted to like this place--I really did. The band was fantastic and honestly the only reason I went at all and stayed longer than one drink. They brought great energy, sounded tight, and deserved a much better venue than this. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience was pretty awful. The staff came off rude and disinterested, like customers were more of an inconvenience than the reason they're there. Getting a drink felt like pulling teeth, and when I finally did, it was overpriced and mediocre at best. The crowd didn't help either--rowdy in the worst way, with zero awareness of personal space or basic courtesy. It made it hard to actually enjoy the music, which again, was the only redeeming part of the night. If you're thinking about going, maybe catch the band somewhere else if you can. They deserve it--and frankly, so do you. read more

Stopped in because it's on the AADVANTAGE dining program. Vanessa was my bartender, and she did a great job!!! A margarita, a Washington Apple, and a double tequila with cran, pineapple juice, grenadine, and triple sec; they were GOOD!!! Live music on Fridays and a packed house but not shoulder to shoulder packed. Security was all in my phone thinking I was recording at the bar, but it was on photo mode. Nosey need glasses!!! You can not video the bar, but you can video the live band. Overall it's a nice bar with reasonably priced drinks. Food is available as well with free food after 12am on Fridays. I have visited here several times since moving back to Davie. We have a friend that comes here every Saturday afternoon but we have not met him here yet. It is a biker bar that if you are not familiar where it is, you can easily miss is from the street. It actually took me a couple months to notice it driving by! So I believe every night except Wednesday night there is a live band performing. From my experiences, they have been cover bands. But good cover bands that play good music (rock for the kids that don't know). The square footage is pretty big in there. There is a bar that could probably seat 25-30 people, 2 pool tables, and a stage. I have not tried the food yet but I remember them closing the kitchen at 10pm FYI. The food looked good from what I could see. They also sell their own merchandise, which includes shirts, sweatshirts, tanks, panties, and hats. There are usually 2 bartenders and at least 1 bar back working every time we have been there. Some of them know us already and are very personable with us. The selection is really vast, which includes beers on tap and in bottles, wine, and hard booze. I gave 1 less star for a couple of reasons: the prices are more expensive than most bars around and the music is so loud you cannot hear the person screaming next to you. Also, it is undefined what time exactly they close. Most places list them at 4am but we have shown up at 2-2:30am and they were closing. I think if the bar is not busy, then they start closing. read more

It's definitely a hole in the wall, and the smoke can be overbearing but all in all a good place to listen to some great music. The only redeeming factor for this place is the live music. Upon arriving, it was a good 10-15 minutes before we served or even acknowledged at the bar. It's a definite locals only kind of place, and not very welcoming at all. The promotional guy kept interrupting the band and music for nonsense. And the patrons were fairly inappropriate with one another for a public bar. Lastly the smoky atmosphere was overwhelming. Not my typical bar but it is very close to home and sometimes opened later. The place has a lot of space, including a stage and some pool tables. I think the only night there is no live music is Wednesdays. The drinks are more expensive for what you get. A Yuengling is over $4, which I think is overpriced. It is not a dive bar, which is more comfortable for me but smoking is allowed. The hours they list vary so if you are coming from far away and its after 1am, you might be out of luck. We have gone a couple times when the hours said 4am and they close earlier sometimes. Overall, I pick this place over many others. read more

Love it. This place is a gem. The booze is cheap and plentiful, the food is surprisingly tasty, and the clientele are great folks. Food is typical bar fare - lots of fried stuff, some munchies, a few burgers. I've eaten here multiple times and the food has been great every time. Burgers are good, wings are good, various fried deliciousness is good, spinach dip is killer. Don't be scared of the bikers who inhabit this place. They are some of the sweetest people I've met in a bar - seems like they always recognize you and say hi, or at least raise a glass. Biker Santa showed up at Christmas. Live music is very loud and very good. Check it out - keep in mind that its not really rocking unless there are about 25 bikes out front, and that usually happens between 10 PM and 2 AM. read more

These are my favorite kind of bars. Darkly light, live music, tasty bar food and smoking allowed. I don't need anything else in the world. I came on the perfect Friday night. There was a rock band called Paradigm Shift covering all of the classics such as Tool, Nirvana, Pearl Jam... etc. Maybe I just came on the right night, but I loved the vibe and the bartenders were great so I was happy and that's what mattered. This bar/restaurant establishment is one of my all time favorite places to go. It may not be fancy, but it is NOT a biker or dive bar just because you may see motorcycles outside the door. The staff is perhaps the best you will find in South Florida. The owners, Mark and Nancy, are always welcoming with a smile and happy to help with anything you need. The waitresses/bartenders are extremely competent and always quick with your order, even remembering your usual! The food is delicious and the place continues to attract a great and very devoted crowd of people. They have live music Thursdays through Sundays and Karaoke on Wednesdays. This is really a cool place. I hang out there when I can because the live music is really good and it less than two miles from home. Cagney's is primary a biker bar but also has a good mix of people. Wait staff is friendly. Buckets of Bush are 8 bucks. It's hard to beat this place for live music and beer for a local place. I have heard the food is good bar food, but have yet to try it. read more

This is a watering hole in a shopping plaza right off of a main road. There's nothing special about the location or the structure. What's amazing about Cagney's is the music and the atmosphere. The caliber of bands that roll through this joint are incredible. Untouchable! read more

i like this place.. interesting customers of diverseness... they have live bands..the best is JLFOLKS who appears about 2xs a month..he's excellent.. the food is reasonable and tasty. service i found very good. a regular pool/dart bar with lots of regulars. only if you stay for all music segments..bar stools get pretty hard on "bottoms". ONLY OTHER DRAWBACK lS WHEN N WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC THEY ARE PLAYING DURING THE WEEK. they have a "small chalk board" listing the acts but nothing particular about them. if they keep old rock n blues and bring JLFULKS often I will be glad to be a regular.. see you then:-) maybe using Funky Biscuits website style would be helpful for us music lovers. enjoy read more
