A nice little Irish bar to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. Of course it was packed but the bartenders rocked it and kept up. I had the Guinness and wife the Southwicks. We then went with the bangers and mash and Curry Fries. The sausage were really tasty and the gravy decent. The gravy on the curry fries though was super flavorful. All in all a great little Irish bar to try on any day, not just St. Patrick's day

As someone who recently got into Ted Lasso (yes, it's hilarious! must watch), I jumped at the chance when my sister asked if we wanted to watch the Euro Cup Finals (England vs. Spain) at an Irish/British pub! So glad we did! While I passed on the pint of Guinness (whiskey + ginger for me, plz!), we did order the Fish + Chips (Fish? Yummmm! Chips? meh but came with peas too! delightful surprise!). The vibe was loud, raucous & exactly what I was hoping for! Great time & highly recommended but be forewarned: it gets VERY hot when the place is packed, there is only 1 men's & 1 women's bathroom, & there was no table service with a very packed bar but still totally worth it, bruv!

Black and Blue! Guiness and Blue Moon. Smooth all the way thanks to one of the friends recommending it.

I give this about 3.5 stars. A few weeks ago, a few of us came here after a wine happy hour event nearby. We came late-ish because we were told by a friend of ours that the kitchen is open late. When our group saddled up at the bar, I noticed it was on the empty side for a Friday night, but it's ok. We are here to have a good time. The lady running the bar had given a short limited menu, stating the options were limited because the kitchen was not really open. That was a surprise to all of us as some in our group had hearts set on burgers and whatnot. There was like chicken tenders and plain cheese pizza on the menu and other items that are basic, easy to prep things, nothing really special. My friend Fernand next to me ordered the cheese pizza and when it came out, it looked discombobulated on the plate, not a perfect circle and as he said it looked like as if it was tossed around in a delivery box in the back seat of a car. LOL I was not hungry this late, so hung out a while. Drinks: The usual bar offerings, however, one of our friends asked the bartender if she was able to make a Black and Blue (Guiness with BlueMoon), to which she said she sure can. Wow, I was so intrigued by this that I had to order one myself and gotta way it tasted much better than the traditional Black and Tan! Service Since it was a slow night with little patrons here, we only had 1 person running the bar and also going into the back area of the kitchen to place orders and retrieve item. She was nice and easily chatty, though, when able to talk to us. All in all I'm sure this place picks up on other days and times, as our friend in our group had said they do a good brunch here. I'll have to come back and check it out one day.

Needed to kill some time in Miami before we could check in to our hotel and this was one of the only bars open before the evening. We ended up spending 3 hours there watching the Chelsea game. Which was a three hour party. We were there before the game and were able to get seats at the bar but once the game started it was standing room only. Like any bar once it was packed it was harder to order drinks but that is expected.

Fantastic bar and pint of Guinness! Picture says it all! Went for the Celtic v rangers game and my son saw the United v city game. Great atmosphere and Craic. Owner is a funny guy running around the bar. Service was great and the food looked on point but didn't order, next time for sure!

Came here to watch a football game and was hoping there would be a crowd. Every time I've walked by there's a bunch of people inside. When we went we were the first people there and it didn't pick up until later on at night. Unfortunately, most of the food on the menu wasn't available (makes sense if not many people are there) but it was still a fun place to watch a game. They have darts and other fun board games to play. Will try going back when it's more busy!

This is an oasis in downtown Miami just blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Bayside waterfront mall. This traditional Irish pub serves a plethora of Irish whiskey and tasty foods. They've got rugby and futbol on every channel. They'll greet you like family and leave you full and happy. We were talking to the owner and as we left he said we were "welcome back home any time". You have to love these kinds of places! I will absolutely be back!

We had the pretzel to start and it was perfect and the cheese dip was so good. Shane said the chicken tenders are probably the second most ordered item and I can see why. I have never had better! It's located in the heart of Brickell close to Brickell City Centre and next to Talkin' Tacos. I've passed it many times and never been before. Our comedy show was at 9pm so we got there early and you enter a bar area with a small dance floor and DJ booth. The door guy told us to wait next to the doors by DJ booth. They opened the doors a little after 9pm and let us in. There's this whole other room in the back with tons of seating, a stage and bar area. Some of the decor felt a bit outdated, but it was still a cool vibe nonetheless. The space is so big and has so much potential for improvement, We snagged seating in the middle area. There were several cozy couples seating in front of the stage but 2nd row, we didn't want to get picked on the entire night. Lol. The two main hosts of the comedy show looked like they worked at Blackbird Ordinary as they had staff jackets on. They were in our opinion, the FUNNIEST!!! Everyone also got free shots with their tickets. Nice bonus! Lemondrop shots!!! Whew, it's been a hot minute since I did shots. Ha. After they started the show, they introduced several local or out of towner comedians and honestly, it was a good diverse crew of comedians. I wish we got a list of the comedians as I would like to check out their social media pages or follow them. Overall, we had such a good time and laughed so hard our faces hurt. And then there are places that create such a perfect environment that every night feels memorable. John Martin's Irish Pub is one of those rare places. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history and authenticity. This is not a place pretending to be an Irish pub. The atmosphere is real, warm, and inviting. The craftsmanship of the bar, the energy of the room, and the welcoming staff create a vibe that is incredibly hard to replicate. The whiskey selection is absolutely phenomenal. If you appreciate Irish whiskey, this place is paradise. Their collection is one of the most impressive in South Florida and the bartenders truly know their craft. The food deserves just as much praise. The shepherd's pie is honestly something to die for. Rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The fish and chips are fantastic, the classic pub dishes are executed beautifully, and every plate feels authentic. Then there is the live music. The atmosphere during live performances is electric in the best way possible. It is lively, fun, and full of energy while still being a place where you can enjoy conversation and great company. But what truly transforms a great place into a perfect place is leadership. That is where Anna comes in. I first met Anna years ago when she was managing at another venue, and I witnessed firsthand how she handles people and situations. Her professionalism, calm leadership, and ability to create a welcoming environment stood out immediately. When I discovered she had become the General Manager here, I was excited to visit again. The transformation since she took over has been remarkable. The energy of the staff, the attention to detail, and the overall experience reflect the leadership behind the scenes. Anna is the heart of this place. As someone who manages a large company and hundreds of employees, I can say with complete honesty that she is one of the most impressive leaders I have ever seen in action. She leads by example, treats people with respect, and creates an environment where both staff and guests feel valued. There is something almost unbelievable about her positivity. Every time I see her she is smiling, welcoming guests, and making sure everyone is having a great experience. It is contagious. You leave feeling happier than when you arrived. That kind of leadership is rare. John Martin's is already an incredible establishment with amazing food, incredible whiskey, and one of the best atmospheres in Coral Gables. But with someone like Anna leading the team, the place continues to get better and better. Where she goes, I will always follow. Because every time I bring friends, family, or dates here, the night ends up being unforgettable. Miami is full of places to go out. Very few reach this level. John Martin's absolutely does.

I realized that I had not actually been to this location since it was The Playwright (or whatever it was called) 4 or 5 years ago. Two things here that were standouts: First, the burger is one of the best burgers I've had on South Beach. So much so that I'm craving it again this morning. They've done a good job with the menu in that it still has all those bar foods that you look for in a place like this, but they've put some thought into elevating a number of items (e.g. the short rib poutine!) Second, the service was great. Our server (sorry, can't remember his name - a nice guy from Kendall) was very friendly and provided excellent service.
