Food was good- typical Irish bar food. The place was hopping and the music was loud! Slow service because of the crowd. Ambiance was very casual. 4.3 stars. It was fun to celebrate St. Patrick's Day here.

This is my absolute favorite bar! We discovered it when looking for trivia, and have now been back every week! Their Wednesday Bar Jeopardy league is great, always a fun crowd. They also have plenty of TVs for games. With reasonably priced drinks and delicious Irish food, The Leinster is a great addition to Edgewater.

I went to this place with a party of 4 to watch the Superbowl. Despite being so busy the service was pretty good. They didn't have that many servers but the ones they had were super friendly and kind. I LOVED everything I ate here. The boneless chicken wings were so tender and fire. Loved the Bavarian pretzel too (it's huge btw.) Beers were super reasonably priced. Also on top of it all, the women's bathroom was so clean for such a busy night. They ran out of toilet paper at one point and staff were approachable and took care of it and replaced it. I really loved this place. It was my first time here and I will definitely go back!

This was a wonderful surprise for us, I brought my family here to check out the speakeasy tiki bar and found it was full because of an event and we didn't have a reservation. We decided to wait here and grab a few drinks and bites. We sat at the bar and there was a basketball game playing which quite a few people were tuned into. Seems like it's a nice local chill spot to watch a game and grab a bite. I smelled the sweetness of wings of the guy next to us and had to order the same, was totally happy with that decision! I believe it was a guiness bbq used and it was yummy. We were divided in what to order since we only wanted small bites and ended up going with the sausage rolls. It was a flaky savory breading wrapped around soft and seasoned sausage. It was paired with a slightly sweet marinara that pulled everything together for me since I am a huge fan of savory and sweet. The food was great but I am still thinking about that passionfruit tequila cocktail called "The banshee" SO GOOD! Super smooth, sweet and hit all the notes of what I was craving! Highly recommend ordering this cocktail even if there's no wait at Kaona room as it's a perfect start to enjoying some drinks! They also have a pool table, outdoor seating, and an authentically Irish owner that was attentive and very kind guiding us through ordering and every step of the way. Great experience here, great stop to make while in the downtown area!

Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty. You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. If you love cruising which I do and you love craft beer, you will absolutely love District Brew House. It is located on deck 8 towards the front of the ship. When I was on my cruise, it was the best kept secret on the ship. If you have cruised on a mega-ship like the Escape, you know getting a drink, especially in a frequented club or on the pool deck will usually mean long lines. On the Norwegian Escape, me and my friends did a test. One group of my friends stood in the line in prime time in the evening at Spice H2O on Deck 17 towards the rear of the ship. My group left them, walked all the way to District Brew House on 8 in the front of the ship, ordered drinks and came back. The group at Spice H2O were still waiting for their drinks. From that day on, we made it a point to stop in District Brew House before going anywhere else. Heck, they even opened up a little early to give our group of weary travelers a place to sit. ++ They definitely have a little something for everyone. I've noshed on breakfast sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches, and more. Everything is on par for airport food. The Cuban is probably my favorite. ++ Full bar first thing in the morning after a stressful night of travel. Yep! It's there and ready to alleviate your woes. Not to mention ample nonalcoholic options for those that don't imbibe. CONs: -- Prices are a bit steep for what you get.
