Very fun, although I was unable to experience what it would be like during a busy show night…read more I came on a Saturday bit early in the evening for Miami. The band was setting up in the back but shows weren't starting for a while still. My cousin and I just wanted to stop in, check it out and have a couple of beers. The atmosphere is very hip, punk like in its decor. Tried a tap beer and then their lager made in collaboration with Tripping Animals. Good light beer with their fun bright red rose logo on the can. People at the bar seemed friendly. They had an interesting shot item called the death shot I believe and it was a strange mixture of Mallort along with some other liquors. I didn't not try it. I watched a guy next to us try it and he said it's not great but not horrible. He said it did its job and worked really well Bartender chick was friendly and quick. It's not a huge bar seating area so I suppose if you get here late you'll be standing or perhaps you'll just be enjoying one of the shows in back.

Staff is friendly enough (besides the bouncers who, I suppose, are doing their job, just a bit brusquely) and drinks are reasonably priced for being in Miami; also appreciate that they have water readily available. Clearly, they host fun shows; music selection can be better for dancing too... Nothing too crazy or spectacular, cool spot to be.

The mojito is also phenomenal, I love the fancy ice they add to the cocktail. It makes it 10x better. Parking can be a bit complicated. There is street parking and a lot or parking garage close by. Other than that, it's a great time. The service is quick. The music is great, it feels like it's 2016 and they also play some 80s music. It's an entire vibe! You've gotta check them out!

Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty. You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. It gets packed late at night, especially Friday and Saturday so get there at a decent hour so you grab a table or space by the bar. Will keep coming back!

The bartenders are super friendly and funny, which made the experience even better. I had the burger and it was so goooood . The hot dog was just okay, but the burger def made up for it. Parking can be a little iffy, but they do offer valet which helps. I see myself coming back!

I talked the friendly valet into letting me park between a handicap space and a dumpster. The service was awful. It was 1:30 pm and there were about 15 customers with capacity for 100+. I was given a menu and a glass of water timely and the lady behind the bar seemed friendly. There were plenty of staff around waiting tables and backing the bar. I ordered a blackened fish sandwich and a draft beer. The beer came right away in a plastic mug. The pour was less than 12 oz. (small mug) and the brew was barely chilled. Almost room temperature. After 20 minutes and no fish sandwich, the bar lady came by and asked me: "Did you get your fish sandwich?" I said no. She then went in the main building (presumably where the kitchen is located) coming out a few minutes later while holding up 2 fingers, mouthing "2 minutes." The sandwich was $22 without fries (which were and extra $9 as a side). I didn't order those. The half-pint warm beer was $8. About 7 minutes later, another server came from the main building and delivered a scrawny, soggy bun containing a thick, small, undercooked, hunk of blackened fish flesh only 80% skin free. I had to finish the filleting myself. The toppings were parsley and onion. It was the ugliest and most tasteless blackened fish sandwich I have ever been served. I should've taken a photo. Anyway, by this point, I was in a hurry to get out of there as the place was a total fail. I picked at the fish with my fork and knife and ate the part that was actually meat and cooked, leaving the rest (skin included) and the soggy bun on the plate. With an 18% gratuity included, a simple grilled fish sandwich with no sides and a warm beer came out to almost $40. On the positive side, the view of the water and the Miami - Brickell skyline was good. However, I won't be coming back to this joint again. If I could give it Zero stars, I would.
