The Dads ordered the grouper dinner and a smash burger. I opted for the blackened grouper sandwich and fries. JC steered me to the roasted potatoes with a spicy jalapeno sauce and she was correct. My dining partners gave big thumbs up regarding their dishes. My fish sammie was topped with pikliz, a spicy slaw. I devoured it. To end it all, a slice of key lime pie with a torched meringue! First time coming here for sunset, and it was amazing! We had to wait about an hour to be seated, so i got an order of crinkle fries for the table at the bar. They were perfectly crispy and the perfect appetizer. The wait was worth it. The view of the Miami skyline is one of the best out there. Then we got to the mains. I had heard such good things about the lobster roll. It took me forever to decide between the cold and the hot. Ultimately, i went with my heart-- i always prefer cold. Good thing is they do have parking and valet right next to the entrance of the restaurant so it's really easy to get there. The smoked fish dip just is everything you'd expect from it, they give you some peppers on the side, which add some of that kind of freshness that I think it needs with a squeeze of lime for sure. Apparently the way we were supposed to receive had just left so we were assigned another person. We can tell by the speed of service that this person we got assigned was a little overwhelmed however, staff tried their best and there was never really a long wait. The location just seemed strange. Valet parking only. There's no option to self park unless you park across the street and walk across the busy highway. Service was great.
