PIQUEO 3 CEVICHES DE CORVINA $36
    Andrea A.

I've been to Embarcadero Coral Springs location several times and this is my first time in Sunrise. Same good quality of food and its presentation, ambiance, and service! The staff were consistently moving around clearing tables and dishes came out quick. A bit pricey but def recommend. We ordered: 1) Pique 3 Ceviches Corvina $36- sauces were lite, fish was soft, and would be even better if it could be spicy 2) Anticuchos de Lomo Fino $20- beef was well cooked 3) Maki Parrillero Roll $20- dainty little pieces but packs some food flavors 4) Arroz con Mariscos $24- Parmesan cheese makes this dish so much yummier each bite

Embarcadero 41 is a standout for anyone craving authentic Peruvian flavors with a modern, Nikkei twist. It's the perfect 'elevated casual' spot near Sawgrass. I absolutely recommend getting the Lomo Roll; it's the perfect fusion of both worlds. I also got the ceviche, which always has the freshest ingredients. This is honestly by far the best Peruvian food I've ever tried the quality is consistent and the service is great.

This spot has Nikkei & Peruvian Fusion Cuisine & recently opened their new location off las olas - it is a MUST try! I love Peruvian Asian fusion and this spot does it right. It's super clean inside and the service is great! They start you off with complimentary corn nuts and their pisco sour is delicious with them. : Pisco Sour - a must have & a typical Peruvian cocktail Acevichado Roll - perfect fusion roll of Asian & Peruvian flavors! Ceviche Mixto - great variety of seafood in a flavorful, limey, & spicy sauce Lomo Saltado - my husband's favorite Peruvian dish, beef tenderloin stirfry in a soy sauce with potatoes

We ordered for pick-up. It was both easy to order and easy to pick up. This spot is in a good location, and the Food was good too. We ended up getting the following dishes: - Ceviche Mixto de Corvina - Lomo Saltado - Yucas a la Huancaína - Sobredosis de Chirimoya (for dessert) The highlights of our order were the Ceviche and the Sobredosis de Chirimoya, both of which were delicious and something we would definitely order again. The Lomo Saltado was good, but the potatoes were a bit disappointing, and the yucas were not crispy. Hope you have a great dining experience. Happy dinning yall!

I love a good Peruvian spot but this might have to be a miss for me. I ordered a leche de Tigre and arroz con mariscos. Food came out in a fairly decent time especially when our table is a party of 8. Food was delicious but the service was trash. We were all finished with our food and were waiting on our bill. We see the staff getting ready to close and the lights turning on. But our waiter was nowhere to be found. I wouldn't go out of my way for this location unless I was in the area.

It supposed to be conchitas à la parmesana but it was conchitas with mozzarella cheese very salty

When something is not good at a restaurant I usually call the manager to let him/her know, I called a week ago and the manager Luciano did not call back. So here my review : I really liked this place until last week, we ordered "Tequeños de lomo saltado" and it was tequeño with ground meat, no lomo saltado, we ordered "conchitas à la parmesan (with parmesan cheese) " and the waitress bring us "conchitas à la brasa" they change the plate and we got conchitas con mozzarella cheese not parmesan cheese it was very very salty, I did not want to complaint at the moment so I called the next day, no response from the manager. on top of everything we all got sick (stomach issues) . I do not recommend this place anymore

Day off today so headed to Embarcadero for a deliciuos Peruvian cuisine lunch. Place was packed as it was lunch rush hour around 1 pm. We waited about 20 minutes for our table but once inside service was fast. Servers were attentive and loved the clean elegant and modern decor. Wow this place is truly one of my favorites! Started with the bbq scallops in their shells. Just to die for. Corvina Leche de Tigre so rich and thick. And yes I mixed some of the Leche de Tigre with the scallop juices so yummy. The Corvina Ceviche with crisp chunks of octopus was just perfect. Couldn't leave without having an Inca Cola just sweet and refreshing. Overall great experience great food items will definitely come back.

Had dinner at Embarcadero 41 and ordered the Risotto de Huancaína con Lomo and it was seriously impressive. The rice was perfectly cooked, rich and creamy from the huancaína sauce, with just the right touch of parmesan. The beef tenderloin was juicy and tender, I was impressed on the cook of the beef and the chimichurri added a flavorful kick that brought everything together. The service was warm and attentive from start to finish, which made the whole experience even better. It's definitely a little on the pricier side but the quality of the food and the attention to detail made it feel worth it. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Great place for Peruvian food. While not cheap, their servings are a good size and delicious. Definitely check this place out.

I literally can not stop raving about this meal. Sometimes there are meals that are just unforgettable. This was our second time at Embarcadero 41, but we had visited a different location. I am here to say that it does not matter which location you visit the food is exceptional at both. This visit we brought two of our good friends with us and prepared them to come hungry. After our meal our friends would text us days later about how amazing our meal was. It was just that memorable. First we ordered a bottle of red Wine, I can't remember the name but I know it was a Malbec from Argentina. But my go to drink at a Peruvian restaurant is a Pisco Sour. But this restaurant is more about the wine and pairing it with your meal. We started off with appetizer's and Ordered the TEQUEÑOS DE LOMO SALTADO. It was a wonton style wrap stuffed with sautéed beef tenderloin and mozzarella cheese, served with "guacamole" and "lomo saltado" sauce. It was crispy and juicy and the guac added that freshness it needed. Our second appetizer was the YUCAS A LA HUANCAÍNA Fried yucca with creamy "huancaina" sauce to dip. The Huancaina sauce is a traditional Peruvian cheese sauce, is made by blending aji peppers, queso fresco, and onions. It is usually served over boiled potatoes, thats how i grew up eating it, but the yucca fries were a great idea. Embarcadero is very innovative with their dishes and thats what i love about them. They don't just serve traditional peruvian food, they also serve Nikkei cuisine which is a culinary fusion that blends Japanese and Peruvian ingredients and techniques. For our entrees we ordered the Teriyaki Entrana Roll. Its a Panko breaded shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, covered with slices of torched skirt steak, topped with chimichurri and a touch of teriyaki sauce. Full of flavor and uniqueness. My favorite Peruvian dish is Fettuccine Al Pesto Con Lomo Saltado. Its Fettuccine in a traditional Peruvian pesto sauce, served with "Lomo Saltado", stir-fried beef tenderloin, onions and tomatoes flambé with pisco and soy sauce. The meat is perfectly tender and the pesto sauce is the same classic sauce that i would eat at my friends grandmas house. My husband ordered Risotto De Rocoto o Huancaina con lomo. The meal was rice "al dente" in peruvian rocoto chili pepper sauce or creamy "huancaina" sauce, parmesan cheese with a juicy beef tenderloin and "chimichurri" sauce. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the tenderloin was the same meat on my dish and was perfectly cooked. I truly adore this place and can't wait to bring more people to try this amazing food and experience this cuisine.

Very expensive!!!! One appetizer and 2 glasses of wine!

So I guess we're not Peruvian Japanese fusion fans...just tried this place for the first time tonight and we did not like it! We didn't like the taste of lime for the entire appetizer dish, could not taste anything else. We ordered the appetizer called Tiradito Mediterranean it had shrimp, fish, octopus, corn it was in a sauce with capers, it's served cold and very very limey. After that we didn't order anything else - we ended our meal there with the appetizer, didn't want to take a chance on a meal, won't be back!! Not to mention it's super expensive and in a strip mall!

Just arrived in town and it was supper time so I looked to Yelp for a tasty idea and this popped up 1.5 mile from my hotel so I gave it a try. Easy parking as it's in a mall area. There is some Outdoor seating but I opted for indoor. We seated immediately. Definitely an English second language area but they were all bilingual. The menu was impressive. I chose the one of the items marked new and rolled with it. It is a mix of lightly buttered and fried seafood with fried plantain chips and some yucca. Was delicious. Then I had the chocolate torte. It was just ok. Flavor was top shelf but was not as moist as I had hoped. The meal was delicious and service was good. The dessert we will let pass an anyone who has baked has had them turn out dry every now and then. The restaurant is very bright and apart to be going for the higher end look. Nice plates and tableware and cloth napkins.

Sat at the bar, seats were comfortable and the table was a good height. Ordered the: Pulpo Anticuchero: octopus had really good texture, sauce was amazing. Really liked the Peruvian crispy corn. Causa Nikkei Crocante: wanted some type of tuna. I thought it was something similar to crispy fried rice but it was actually my first time trying Causa which is like a mashed potato-esque but fried outside. Honestly refreshing and delicious. Arroz carretillero: classic rice dish. Plenty of seafood per bite with a shot of interesting sauce. Pretty good Servers were very quick and nice!

I politely asked if the seasoning could simply be left off due to an allergy, and my request was refused. Rather than accommodating a simple dietary restriction, I was told that the dish wouldn't taste the way the chef intended. While I understand wanting to preserve the intended flavor, customer health and safety should come first--especially when dealing with allergies. I find it concerning that no effort was made to accommodate a reasonable request or even ask about the severity of the allergy. In today's restaurant industry, flexibility and customer care are important. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very unaccommodating, and given the high prices, I expected much better. Falafel is usually hit or miss for me, but I would get this again! We shared a mixed grill platter so we could try some of everything. Surprisingly, my favorite was the chicken! Perfectly cooked, well marinated and grilled with a slight char. My hubby liked the beef/lamb patty best. It also came with one lamb chop, a grilled tomato, a little side of marinated cabbage, and a grilled jalepeno on a bed of tomato flavored bulgur (think like a Turkish spiced rice pilaf?) everything was truly cooked perfectly with nice spice. We also tried the lentil soup - it tasted almost creamy with a light tomato base and everything blended together (with a tiny bit of texture left from the lentils.) Also very good. Making reservations online was incredibly easy, and I loved that you can actually choose the table you'd like. Their website is also very informative, listing the performers and showtimes so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive. This is a true family-owned business, and you can absolutely feel that personal touch. The owner's wife greeted us as the hostess and personally escorted us to our table, making us feel right at home. The owner, who plays in the band, even came over to introduce himself after realizing we weren't regulars. We learned that he's also a chef and helps prepare the meals and desserts, which made the experience even more impressive. Speaking of the food...we were completely blown away! We honestly weren't expecting it to be as incredible as it was, but every bite was amazing. Our waitress was fantastic, taking the time to explain the menu, share her favorites, and make recommendations that did not disappoint. We even asked them to hold our food until after the show started so we could eat at the perfect time, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Next time, we're definitely saving room for the famous carrot cake! The entertainment was phenomenal. The first show begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by a 30-minute intermission, with the second set starting at 9:00 p.m. Your admission includes both performances, whether you stay for one or both, which is a great value. There were plenty of regulars in the audience, and it was easy to see why. One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching couples get up and dance on the small dance floor in front of the band. It created such a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that made the whole night feel even more special. The only minor downsides were that it became a little warm inside as the evening went on, and one guest behind us repeatedly recorded videos with her camera flash on, which was a bit distracting during the performance. Thankfully, after a few looks back, she seemed to get the hint. Although they mentioned it can get quite loud, I honestly didn't find the volume overwhelming. We were probably among the younger couples there, but everyone was welcoming, and the atmosphere was wonderful. After more than 13 years in business, it's easy to understand why All That Jazz has built such a loyal following. Between the outstanding music, incredible food, warm hospitality, and inviting atmosphere, this was an unforgettable evening. We'll absolutely be back, and next time we'll be bringing our family with us!

Alexander's consistently puts out good food, good service, and a good vibe. Our server was 'Faith' and she was stellar! One of us got there way too early (like 10 minutes before everyone else) but even camping in her section with just a cocktail she never made us feel uncomfortable or awkward about it. One of us had special requests for her meal, no problem. One of us rolled in 5 minutes AFTER everyone else had arrived and ordered their drinks already, again... no problem. Faith is a superstar. Every dish was perfect, and the huge portions made for an outstanding presentation to the one of us who'd never been here before. Plus! The martini sidecars were a big hit.

What stands out is the reliability across the board. The ambiance strikes that balance between upscale and comfortable, making it just as suitable for a casual dinner as it is for a business meal or special occasion. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff clearly knows how to take care of guests. The cocktails are well-made and consistent, and the food delivers every time. You know what you're getting, and it's done right. In a market where consistency is rare, J. Alexander's continues to show up at a high level. Definitely worth the visit.

I was here at the Plantation location to attend this month's 4-course Martini Madness Dinner. The restaurant was packed for a Thursday evening. Servers greeted those in attendance, offering each person a glass of ice water and complimentary bread as we awaited the first course. Course one - Crab and avocado salad paired with Sparkling Cucumber Martini. The salad was a creamy mixture of avocado, lump crab, mango, and diced bell peppers on a bed of fresh spinach. Crispy tortilla chips was added for crunch. The martini was nice and light with a sparkling crisp taste. Course two - Scallop and shrimp scampi pasta paired with Lychee Martini. This was a very good dish. Nicely cooked shrimp and scallops tossed with all dente linguine in a light butter white wine sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed the lychee martini which was sweet and absolutely delicious. Course three - Mediterranean salmon paired with Island Breeze Martini. This was a filling dish. The salmon was nicely grilled and topped with sautéed spinach, feta cheese, diced tomatoes, and pickled onions; served with Jasmine rice and grilled asparagus. The martini was well-balanced with the vodka and various fruit juices (mango, passion fruit, and pineapple) without being overly sweet. Course four - Mixed berry mousse cake paired with Strawberry Rose Sidecar Martini. Moist, decadent cake layered with berry puree and coconut anglaise. In my opinion, the martini was too strong for a light dessert. It would have been best paired with a surf & turf dish. The whole event was well put together by the pleasant staff who made sure each transition between the courses ran smoothly and the removal of the empty dishes and glasses, as well as refilling the water glass was done in a timely manner. I look forward to attending another event soon.

That was fine by me because I like the roe of the female crabs. The price was right at only 2 dollars a crab. The shrimp were 21 dollars for the half pound. They both were perfectly seasoned with Old bay. I got some garlic butter to dip them in just to try it. I'm a fresh garlic guy which it lacked but it was still good. Definitely can't wait to try some big #1's male crabs though! The shrimp were a medium/large and cooked perfectly and easy to peel. The service was great even though it's just a carry out! My service person was very thorough in describing the size and types of the crabs and shrimp. She even sent me a coupon to use on my next purchase. What made the service a 10 was she brought my food to my car. The overall ambiance was great. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the place especially the bathroom. The overall experience was great considering it's a takeout only establishment! I would definitely recommend it to anyone that loves seafood especially Maryland style blue crabs!
