From the start, we were promptly seated, and our waiter Mason was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made sure she felt comfortable ordering. Having been to the North Lauderdale location before, we wanted to see how the Davie spot compared and it delivered. My sister had no idea what to expect, but she absolutely loved it. The fried shrimp came out crispy, flavorful, and not greasy, and the sweet potato fries with cinnamon butter were such a pleasant surprise. We also tried the crawfish, shrimp, and sausage in the Mr. & Mrs. Crab special sauce packed with flavor and consistent with what I've experienced at their other locations. Portions are generous, the vibe is relaxed, and my sister is already talking about her next seafood boil. There was one small hiccup we ordered extra corn and didn't receive it with the initial meal -- but the team was very apologetic, I wasn't charged, and it all worked out. The crawfish size are nice and big, we ordered a pound which it seemed a little less than what i'm used too not sure if corn and potatoes included in the weight. snow crab legs were great size. We ordered extra spicy and hot, spice was not there at least for my taste buds. A little salty with the house seasoning they had. The table went quiet as everyone dug into their bags, enjoying the flavors of the tender crab, shrimp, corn, and potatoes. No one had anything negative to say, it was all delicious. After the meal, I ordered dessert and went with the key lime pie. It was a simple, grocery store-style slice, nothing special, just okay. But the real highlight was the seafood, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this spot. It's great for groups and even kids friendly. The drink menu offers plenty of options, and the food menu is just has good options. They also have a separate menu for daily specials, which is what I ordered from, I had the MMC Dungeness crab with shrimp, two potatoes, and corn, all with extra spicy Cajun seasoning. I love seafood boil that is so popular in Dallas, where I am from. I drove from Miami Beach to satisfied my cravings! This place did not disappoint! Every detail was well thought out. When you arrive you can't miss the two cute crabs in the front entrance. The shopping center had plenty of parking and love that there were other restaurants and cute shops! We arrived at the restaurant at 730. My husband's food was served at 845, my daughter's at 910. I still do not have my dinner and it is 940. When I spoke to the manager and asked him what was taking so long, he assured me it would be ready in three minutes. After waiting another 20 minutes and asking him where it was, he asked me what my order was. Two hours, and no meal. Terrible service, and on top of that a rude reply when I reminded him that we had been here two hours, and I still did not have food. Update: After never receiving my meal, we paid for the two meals that we did receive. We were told by another server that the kitchen accidentally threw away a stack of tickets. My only issue was there was very little and likely no garlic pieces in the boil. I have eaten at their North Lauderdale location (each is independently owned), and they put lots of garlic in the bag. I was surprised at the different approaches. Despite this, I loved my meal. I did taste a couple of their medium buffalo flavored wings. These were huge but needed more sauce in my opinion. They had music playing in the background and it wasn't too loud where we can't hear each other talking. There were 5 of us and we all came hungry. My friends ordered the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries, the classic combo and one pound of Dungeness crab with one extra pound of Dungeness crab. I ordered 1 pound of Alaskan king crab with the combo X, which came with half a pound of snow crab, one lobster tail, half a pound of pork sausage, two corns, two eggs and half a pound of shrimp to share with my sister. We all got the special Mr and Mrs crab sauce. Everything was finger licking good. No complaints. I really liked how they give you a 1/2 pound of sausage. Some places only give you a few small pieces. I thought the prices were fair especially when you order the combo deals. We even got a 10% discount for checking in on Yelp. My only dislike which is why I only gave this place a 4 is that they use all plastic ware.
