Of course the first thing I did was to consult my trusted Yelp. The Rustic Inn Crabhouse, came highly recommended! Its rustic, homey atmosphere and patio dinning options were a highlight to our dinning experience. Upon arrival, we waited maybe 10 min to be seated. We were a party of 6 and managed to secure a table outside by the water. This restaurant is huge! Spacious with a constant rotation of customers. The drinks were ok but would recommend something off of their beer or wine menu. Seafood was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. Everything down to their salad dressing is made in house. I loved the buttery lobster roll and tender grilled snapper. There was a mix up with our order where the wrong item was brought out to us. Instead of having us wait for the correct meal, our waitress severed us the incorrect order with apologies and packed our correct order to go and on the house. We very much appreciated that. The bathroom situation is not the best. Don't go if you don't have to. Free parking is available.

I wasn't too happy plus it was windy, but anyhow, I ordered a Scooby and I asked her was it the Scooby like the ones that they serve in coconuts in Fort Lauderdale it is like oh yeah it's the same chef that worked there but they serve it a little different well when her Scooby's came they were the size of my pinky and it was seven of them and it was $27 very overpriced. I also ordered fish and chips which she said was extremely popular, it was so greasy that I asked for some paper napkins and she brought me two paper napkins, and I put one of the pieces on top of the paper napkin and it was soaked, so I asked her for more paper napkins and she brought me some more paper napkins and then I just got grossed out. It was too much grease. I ordered a glass of wine their house wine. And my total bill for one person was $67. They never asked me if everything was OK so I just paid the bill paid the tip and left. I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody.

I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped. The place is famous and sells its own merchandise like shirts and hats. It is not located near other restaurants, and you'll have to walk fifteen minutes or get an Uber if you are discouraged by the waiting time.
