Food: one plate feeds 3. Try the Chaufa De Mariscos (Seafood Rice) Service: Fast, efficient, friendly. Ambiance: It's a flea market, outside seating!

    Medium seafood, no fries, $40!

We ordered the mixed seafood platter, which I highly recommend, and the medium for $40 feeds 4-6 people. We four couldn't finish it. No French fry filler, it's ALL seafood, piled high, consisting of large whole Prawns, Calamari rings, and fried fish. (Basa) It's served piled high on a huge platter, with plenty of limes and sauces. Everything is fresh and crispy. Pleasant and efficient wait staff, along with live entertainment. It's a have to eat this destination.

RAW CHICKEN , I've contacted Browards county for them to come out to check this disgusting place out

improve in the quality of food. i was served 4 tacos of raw chicken 8/27/2024 , the guy said he wasnt going to refund me ( even tho i never asked for refund ) , the audacity to charge me $16.05 , they took immensely forever to bring me the tacos anyways

Went on a Sunday afternoon after walking the whole Swap Shop. We got hungry and I wanted to visit this place that had seafood. In the mood for seafood we grabbed a table. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive with great customer service. We ordered the fried seafood mix the Jalea" for $32.00. The menu only has a few items for seafood and soup. There was also beer specials. We had too much food for 2 people. It would of been better with 4-6 people but we got sold on the just picture of the seafood platter. The seafood tasted as if it needed seasoning but it was ok. They had live music. Being outside on this particular day was not hot at all, but there were flies buzzing and bugging the customers. We ended up having left overs for 3 people. This is definitely a visitors spot to visit if your from out of town.

Great value for amazing seafood. I came here on the weekend to have their Jalea Mixta (Fried mixed seafood) and it was incredibly tasty. $32 for a plate that feeds like 4 people. Very good on taste and freshness. I do recommend this dish if you decide to visit. The beers were about $2.50 each so also very inexpensive. I do not recommend the ceviche though. This place is outdoors under a covered roof and can get really hot. There is live music entertainers. Spanish music. Worth the visit.

This is an out door restaurant in the swap shop produce market area. They focus on seafood but also have beef and chicken dishes. We had the fried seafood which was big hit and delicious. We also bought a steak plate to keep our son happy in case he passed on the seafood. The seafood was big enough for all three of us. The beers are reasonably priced the mixed drinks looked ridiculously good. Most of the staff speak English as a second language but they're super friendly. This was our second visit, we'll be back for sure.

I'd already eaten half this plate before taking the photo. Lightest, tenderest, moist fish with not a bone in sight

Visiting family in Florida and decided to do something fun and quirky on the weekend, however did not expect to find fresh, flavorful, and very affordable seafood at a swap meet. Had the fried pescado, the batter was perfectly done, light and crispy, the fish was tender and moist. The added surprise gems are the green and red dipping sauces that take this dish to another level. All of this for $10... who knew?

    So good!

By far the BEST seafood platter I've ever had! So fresh and big in abundant portions, you cannot find anyone better than this! The micheladas and natural drinks are also delicious. Not to mention the awesome live music!!

I can't believe we found this amazing spot. Sea food is just delicious and so crispy and good. Drinks are also amazing and fresh. They have really good option and live music. I'm Mexican and Maricos are really important lol and my salsas are too which this place has so many option and they have spice choices ... I'll be here every Saturday...

Red snapper, was really good and tasted super fresh!

Fresh seafood with huge portion. Food was really delicious! I ordered the red snapper and it came with rice and Tostitos. The portion was big enough for two even three people. Just discovered this little restaurant at the swap shop.

I've been coming here for years with my dad. It's outside in the swap shop produce area. Every Saturday and Sunday live music. It's a fun chill hang out divey place. The sea food is delicious. Fresh. I always get the "Jalea" which is the fried seafood platter with fish, calamari, mussels, shrimp and plantains. Delicious!! It's huge so share! Today I'm having the fish soup which is also delicious. Clear fish broth with tons and tons of snapper. I'm in heaven! Topping it off with a cold modelo, CHEERS!

The Calamari order, def big enough to share with more than a couple of people.
    Martha M.

We came here after one of the food vendors recommended some yummy seafood. We came and ordered the ceviche mixto and an order of the calamari. We were a little taken back by the price of calamari at first, but decided to order it anyway because we love calamari. Good thing we did! Both the Calamari and ceviche mixto was delicious! I would def recommend this place and come back again!

There were at least five tables available inside the restaurant and only two occupied with couples and I wanted to sit inside, but she didn't allow me to sit where I wanted to sit so she sat me outside. There were mosquitoes it was dusk. I wasn't too happy plus it was windy, but anyhow, I ordered a Scooby and I asked her was it the Scooby like the ones that they serve in coconuts in Fort Lauderdale it is like oh yeah it's the same chef that worked there but they serve it a little different well when her Scooby's came they were the size of my pinky and it was seven of them and it was $27 very overpriced. I also ordered fish and chips which she said was extremely popular, it was so greasy that I asked for some paper napkins and she brought me two paper napkins, and I put one of the pieces on top of the paper napkin and it was soaked, so I asked her for more paper napkins and she brought me some more paper napkins and then I just got grossed out. It was too much grease. I ordered a glass of wine their house wine. And my total bill for one person was $67. They never asked me if everything was OK so I just paid the bill paid the tip and left. I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody.

I had a Shirley Temple, and my boyfriend had a Bloody Mary that he said was good... although I have to say, the green bean garnish threw me off a little I've seen some wild garnishes, but that one made me laugh. I got chicken tenders with tots and red beans and rice everything was solid. The music was great, the atmosphere was lively, and even with the rain keeping us off the patio, we had a great time. The wait is so worth it! (They don't take reservations) The place had a bunch of great relaxing yet lively yet romantic type of vibes and you're surrounded by happy people- including the employees (atleast it seems so) and THE FOOD is just. It's very busy and loud there, though, if you are eating indoors at the bar like I was. The bartenders and barbacks are very busy. The restaurant is known for something called "Scoobies" which per Google Gemini are "crab claws (traditionally blue crab or snow crab) that have been partially de-shelled--leaving just the "pincher" as a handle--and sautéed in a rich sauce of garlic, butter, and olive oil with crushed red pepper and scallions." I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped. The place is famous and sells its own merchandise like shirts and hats. It is not located near other restaurants, and you'll have to walk fifteen minutes or get an Uber if you are discouraged by the waiting time. The people dining here look like they are pretty well off and are able to enjoy life.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits
