Stopped by for the first time during the week. Service was good and enjoyed sitting at the bar. Decor is really simple and elegant, rustic feeling. Food was tasty! Definitely stopping by for the happy hour menu

I am glad we had a reservation; this place was busy. Even with the reservation we had to wait a bit to be seated as all their staff was busy and menus all being used. They did seat us outdoors, as requested, and we really liked how cute the entire place is. Plus, really appreciate the free parking space. We started with their espresso martini, although delicious it was WAY too strong for us so after a couple of sips, we switched to the bottomless mimosas offered at brunch and this were on point. As appetizers we went with the tuna tartare and were very happy with it. Enough to share and fresh. The rosemary fries were very good too. Knowing they are known for their fried chicken, I went for Chicken and Waffles dish and was impressed with the BIG portion. The chicken is perfectly crispy, flavorful and tender. They serve it with regular syrup and hot honey. I do recommend this dish. Now, the burger my friend ordered was just ok. She asked for ketchup, but never got it, and the burger looked thin and dry. The chips it came with were stale so I would skip this on the menu. Another thing I do recommend is their ribs, presentation and flavor make this a Must Try here. Service was great, and prices very reasonable. We really enjoyed our brunch here.

Stopped in after a round of pickleball to enjoy some happy hour cocktails. The view is great, service fantastic, and drinks were phenomenal. There are a bunch of tables outside and inside. Already planning my return visit.

Great Live music on Thursdays. Nice ambiance, nice drinks and good food. Unfortunately as a vegetarian it is disappointing that they fry everything on duck fat but glad the awesome waiter we had told us in advance. Definitely worth trying it.

I wish I could give it 4.5 stars but I can't so I'll round up. The Florida Room is located at The Fort, the new pickleball Club in Snyder Park. We were a group of 8 and we were seated immediately along a banquette near the bar. The ambiance is nice but because of the huge metal building this is in, it felt a a little sterile. I think the next time if I got to sit outside by the lake this would be a solid 5 rating. Our server, Jessica, was spot on! Here is someone who really loves what she does! She explained things to us, took our order and was readily available throughout the evening. We started with a range of appetizers- the watermelon feta salad, the tuna tartar, lamb sausage rolls, and the tater tots. Of these, my favs were the tuna tartar and the tater tots. Oddly enough- 5 of us ordered the buttermilk 1/2 chicken! Crazy cuz the menu has plenty of choices. The pieces were large but the breading was a little salty. We definitely had plenty of leftovers for another meal. Know that everything is a la carte so if you want potatoes or other you need to order it. The scallops came on pureed cauliflower (if we had a wish it was that there would have been of the cauliflower) Another in our group had the yellowfin tuna and thought it was quite good. Of all the desserts we had, the coconut key lime pie and the beignets were the winners. If you go- follow your GPS and it will take you to the front entrance of the FORT. You need to make a left and go around to the back of the complex which is where the restaurant is. There was plenty of parking back there on the night we were there even though there was a tournament up front. The bar is huge but empty on the night we were there. And had it been a little warmer, we would have liked to sit outside by the lake but it was inside for us. All in all it was a fun night out with good food, good service and great friends!

My wife and I recently visited this restaurant after seeing great reviews on Yelp, and we had a wonderful experience. Although the location is tucked away behind the pickleball courts, navigating the parking lot was straightforward. We were immediately impressed by the modern, clean, and refreshing atmosphere of the building. We chose to sit at the outside bar and sample several items from the happy hour menu. The deviled eggs were delicious, though the portions were a bit small. The spicy tuna tartare was also excellent, offering a refreshing flavor with just the right amount of heat. We particularly enjoyed the fried calamari, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For our entrees, the smoky ribs were a highlight; the presentation with the smoke-filled dome was impressive, and the meat was flavorful and tender. The scallops were also cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. We finished our meal with the passion fruit buttermilk panna cotta, which had a fantastic flavor profile that balanced the sweetness of the cream with the tartness of the fruit. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was professional. Our bartender was very friendly and helpful throughout the evening. Since we live nearby, we look forward to becoming frequent customers.

Only my second visit to this restaurant with a beachy vibe influenced by a tight knit pickleball community. After a great Yelp event two weeks ago, I was introduced to this hidden but lively alcove and needed to return tonight. The bartender was fun and instantly informed us of the happy hour menu (Thursday - Sunday 4p - 6p) which is small yet the cocktails and the eats sound delightful. The hamburger smothered with caramelized onions was hefty and flavorful with a side of crispy potatoes and a cold Graphic IPA brew to wash it down. There was a side room next to the bar plenty big to host large parties. The gender neutral bathroom was as elegant as it gets with lacquered emerald wall tiles with Italian terrazzo porcelain flooring. My wife and I had a great dinner experience and then walked around The Fort and had an espresso at the Serves and Thirds cafe to end the night.

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in,beautiful design choices, a stunning patio, and overall just a really great vibe. Honestly, I wanted to steal all of the plates. The tableware alone deserves its own shoutout. The food was spectacular, both in presentation and flavor. Everything we tried was perfectly balanced with just the right level of spice, thoughtful, elevated, and clearly crafted with care. But the real standout for me was the passionfruit panna cotta. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'll be dreaming about it for a very long time. The staff made the experience even better. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic, they explained everything clearly and gave excellent recommendations. We went for brunch and will absolutely be back. This place nails it on every level.

Wow, this place is amazing! First off, it's hidden behind the pickleball courts near the Fort Lauderdale airport. I thought it was going to be loud, but it was actually very quiet and relaxing. We arrived right at brunch, and there were only two other tables. By the time we finished, the place had filled up. The service was great, and the food was so good! My kids both had juice and loved it. The chicken and waffles were perfectly fried. The waffles and ice cream had so many flavors and were absolutely delicious. The grits with pimento cheese were something we all fought over so don't share those . The waiters all worked together, which is rare nowadays, and it was really nice to see. I can't wait to go back for the ribs. We will definitely be back this will be our new brunch spot.

Fort Lauderdale's best kept secret! The Florida Room was exactly what was needed & love that it was right next to the airport. Not only is the vibe of the restaurant incredible but I love the decor and play on the Florida gator theme (complete with Gator skin placemats.) The service is really awesome and bartenders are fun. They gave us samples of a clarified Piña colada which was to die for. I hear they have live music some nights & happy hour too! I'd highly recommend trying the potato chips & pickles that are made in house. Can't wait to come back.

Florida Room has a really cool vibe and I liked being able to watch a game going on at the stadium court while we ate. I ordered the chicken burger and it was good, really nice sauce and good flavor overall, but the chicken breast was a little smaller than I expected. One thing to know if you have a shellfish allergy is that you won't be able to have anything fried since it all shares the fryer, not a huge deal and pretty standard at some places, but definitely good to know ahead of time. They were able to swap the chips for fruit though which I appreciated. Service was great and the whole experience was really solid. Looking forward to coming back for dinner!

The ambiance is beautiful. We were greeted promptly as we walked in and they acknowledged our reservation. We were celebrating for my husband and daughter's birthday. The ribeye and the mashed potatoes were out of this world. Very flavorful and well seasoned. It was probably the best ribeye that I've ever tasted before. The Smashburger and the french fries were really good. The short rib meatloaf was decent. We were trying to decide on a third side item and the waitress suggested the bok choy. However, it never made it out. About halfway into our meal she checked on us and I told her that it hadn't come to the table so she can go ahead and nix it, but she said that it was almost done and it would be out soon and we could pack it to go if need be, so we agreed. Needless to say, the bok choy never made it out and she apologized at the end of our dinner. We did ask for refills on our drinks at the start of our meals, but did not get them until the close of our meals. The service tonight was extremely slow. Maybe we are just used to food coming out quick when we dine out at other spots, but tonight the wait between appetizers, ordering our main courses, drink refills, etc. was very slow and very noticeable. The staff were nice but slow. I probably would give them a second try for brunch.

Ilana R.

food was incredible ambience right on the water and service is outstanding. Had a really enjoyable night. Definitely didn't expect this from a restaurant attached to a Pickleball court but wow, I would come here just for the restaurant or absolutely after Pickleball. Very high-quality food as well and very generous portions. The chicken and steak were cooked perfectly and sides were flavorful!

Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The restaurant is known for something called "Scoobies" which per Google Gemini are "crab claws (traditionally blue crab or snow crab) that have been partially de-shelled--leaving just the "pincher" as a handle--and sautéed in a rich sauce of garlic, butter, and olive oil with crushed red pepper and scallions." I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped.
