Yesterday I had a fried fish sandwich with crispy sweet potato fries and my husband had salmon in Romesco sauce on a bed of haricot vert and finished with bits of fennel on top. From the happy hour menu (3 p.m. - 6 p.m.), one of our friends had tempura shrimp, one had steak on skewers, and another had large shrimp in a beautiful sauce on toasted bread. We had chips and guacamole and shrimp dishes on the table and they were scraped clean! The food was so good that no one took leftovers because we ate everything! The chairs and bench seats are super comfy so if you're like our group, you're going to want to stay for a while. We kept moving around to talk with others in our group because it was like being in someone's house. The bartender and server were excellent. Nicole, our bartender, made a coffee martini that was better than what my friend expected. She realized that other bars served it wrong! I ordered Don Julio 1942 and they had it. My husband loved his pinot noir and another friend loved her fresh strawberry and mint drink so much that she ordered another! The head on my friend's beer was proper and that was nice. Everyone loved the drinks. Our server, Timiya was stealth. She took orders and even took pics for us with such quietness that the energy at our table was unbroken. As the person who suggested Burton's, I loved that I didn't have to worry about anything. Stephen Fithian, the manager, is really focused on making sure everything is smooth. Nothing gets past him, and judging from the professionalism of the servers and runners, that focus is on every level. Everyone at our table got the right drinks/food. We were welcome to enjoy ourselves - the server let us sit for a couple of hours before presenting the bills. I could not ask for anything more. We had such a great time that, while in the restaurant, my friends asked me to arrange another happy hour at Burtons. Will do!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. There was a special on the menu…read morethat was made to order and not pre-seasoned or pre-made. I politely asked if the seasoning could simply be left off due to an allergy, and my request was refused. Rather than accommodating a simple dietary restriction, I was told that the dish wouldn't taste the way the chef intended. While I understand wanting to preserve the intended flavor, customer health and safety should come first--especially when dealing with allergies. I find it concerning that no effort was made to accommodate a reasonable request or even ask about the severity of the allergy. In today's restaurant industry, flexibility and customer care are important. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very unaccommodating, and given the high prices, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

Now that we've had this, we can't go back to a boil with a watery texture. We also know that when we come to Cajun Boil, we are going to get our food in 5-10 minutes from ordering. It's amazing. They also use these large pans that keep the seafood hot throughout the entire duration of your meal. I was surprised that even to the end, our seafood were hot. Prices are high but what seafood spot isn't? We average $50/person here but the crawfish and crab legs are worth it! Highly recommend.

Food was excellent all around, service was great, and everything was very clean. Free bread arrived warm, homemade, and very fluffy inside with crunchy crust. The falafel was very herby, perfectly fried and very crunchy outside. It came on a bed of hummus with tahini drizzle. It came with 4 sliders. Falafel is usually hit or miss for me, but I would get this again! We shared a mixed grill platter so we could try some of everything. Surprisingly, my favorite was the chicken! Perfectly cooked, well marinated and grilled with a slight char. My hubby liked the beef/lamb patty best. It also came with one lamb chop, a grilled tomato, a little side of marinated cabbage, and a grilled jalepeno on a bed of tomato flavored bulgur (think like a Turkish spiced rice pilaf?) everything was truly cooked perfectly with nice spice. We also tried the lentil soup - it tasted almost creamy with a light tomato base and everything blended together (with a tiny bit of texture left from the lentils.) Also very good. The server was extremely accommodating, even offering extra grilled tomatoes when he saw us sharing the scraps of one! So glad we found this place and certainly will return!

One of us had special requests for her meal, no problem. One of us rolled in 5 minutes AFTER everyone else had arrived and ordered their drinks already, again... no problem. Faith is a superstar. We walked in without a reservation, and they were able to accommodate us. It definitely got busy as the evening went on, but the service remained great throughout our meal. Most of us ordered the steak and fries, while a few swapped the fries for baked potatoes. The steaks were cooked well, the fries were amazing, and overall the food was VERY good. We also ordered the artichokes to share. I'm not usually an artichoke fan, but I tried them and was pleasantly surprised! And the dessert... SO GOOD. We had the white chocolate cheesecake, and it was easily one of the highlights. Their whipped cream is made in-house, and you can definitely tell. We also had drinks with dinner and really enjoyed those as well. My only two small critiques were the atmosphere. There was a slight lingering smell inside--not necessarily moldy, but possibly from the humidity and the carpet. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of carpet in restaurants for that reason. We also had one persistent fly that kept making its way around our table and food, which was a little annoying. That said, the restaurant itself appeared clean. One thing I would LOVE to see them add is fresh bread! This just feels like the kind of restaurant that should bring out a basket of warm, fresh bread while you're waiting for your meal. Overall, I'd give the experience about an 8.5-9/10. Great food, great service, delicious dessert, and a nice dinner for our first night in town. I would definitely come back!

From the start, we were promptly seated, and our waiter Mason was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made sure she felt comfortable ordering. Having been to the North Lauderdale location before, we wanted to see how the Davie spot compared and it delivered. My sister had no idea what to expect, but she absolutely loved it. The fried shrimp came out crispy, flavorful, and not greasy, and the sweet potato fries with cinnamon butter were such a pleasant surprise. We also tried the crawfish, shrimp, and sausage in the Mr. & Mrs. Crab special sauce packed with flavor and consistent with what I've experienced at their other locations. Portions are generous, the vibe is relaxed, and my sister is already talking about her next seafood boil. There was one small hiccup we ordered extra corn and didn't receive it with the initial meal -- but the team was very apologetic, I wasn't charged, and it all worked out. The Davie location sits in a plaza, so parking is easy. The space feels open and spacious, and they even have an area planned for karaoke and private events. Overall, a fun, flavorful experience that I'd definitely recommend. Where food meets adventure, see you back at the table! IG: @shallonztable Review #1 - 2026
