I come here every few weeks and honestly love it. I personally like going to a restaurant and not having an overbearing server, yet they do check in on you and bring your order in a timely manor. I always get the regular lomo or the lomo with pasta and hurricaina sauce and it's always really tasty and fresh. The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is pricey.. for me and my friend sharing a lomo & pasta WITH 2 sodas and a tip it's about $50 but I don't mind spending that every once in a while when I'm craving it and I know it's fresh. read more

This restaurants really really quaint. It feels really secluded which is nice. The man who runs it is so sweet and nice. The food was also very very good. The yuca and its sauce was a great starter. The mistake we made was thinking the plates for single people. We ordered ceviche for my wife and lomo saltado for me. The ceviche came out first and my saltado was nowhere to be found and we were very confused. We understood instantly when they took away the plates and brought new ones for my wife and I when the saltado came out. Located in the Tower Shops in Davie (SE Corner University and SR 84) this small Peruvian restaurant serves up great fish ceviche. The price was a bit expensive, $24.61 (including tax). The staff are friendly, but they prefer to speak Spanish. I have never seen it crowded. read more

Visited over the weekend. Pretty sure I've ordered take out from them and have had a good experience. The owner was kind enough to allow my husband to eat his poke bowl in the outside area. I also asked about a kids menu and the owner was able to offer chicharrón de pollo for $15 which included two sides. I felt like this dish was fine. I love papa a la huancaina - actually I really love Peruvian food overall - I believe it's one of the best cuisines in the world. I reviewed the menu and saw that they only offered yuca a la huancaina. I really hate yuca so I asked the owner if it can be swapped for potatoes instead. He said he had a mashed potato option, and I was more than happy with that. When the order arrived I was so happy to see that there was a ton of sauce on top. Unfortunately, the sauce lacked flavor. It was extremely bland. I asked for salt and the salt did not fix the issue. The owner was chit chatting with another gentleman and didn't come by to check on our experience. I also ordered the ceviche (fish and shrimp mixed). The shrimp was perfect but I seemed to have an allergic reaction to the fish since every time I ate it gave me a burning/tingling sensation. I had my husband try it and he had the same reaction. When the owner finally came over, he gave me the check, again didn't check in about my experience. I told him about the ceviche and asked him to look into it. He saw that I left the entire huancaina dish and didn't ask why. He did go back and try the ceviche which I was happy about. I would hate for anyone else to have a bad experience. For reference I have ceviche often, and have tasted corvina hundreds of times - this is the first time this happened to me. Stopped in ant the height of lunch on a Thursday and it was not busy. Not sure if that was a tell or not. The interior is bright and clean. With some outside seating. I ordered the lunch special. A lot of food. The half chicken was flavorful but a bit on the dry side. The rice really did t do anything for the meal except be a ton of it and the fries were good. Should have gotten ceviche lie all the reviews said. It seems a bit pricey for the portion sizes of the few ceviches that came out of the kitchen but the lunch special would have been two meals if I was close to home. It was ok. I eat Peruvian food often and have gone to quite a few different places and boyyyyyy am I glad I found this one. The best one by FAR. The food is consistently very delicious. I've tried a few dishes now here, and I have loved every single one. Even the chicha morada is the best I've had. The service is also great, very nice. They also play Peruvian cumbia, which I love. I don't think I can go back to the other spots, they just don't measure up to Ceviche 595. I'm looking forward to trying all of their plates! The place is cute and cozy but there was no ketchup available for the kids fries. This is weird this is a family restaurant, how could you not have ketchup for fries and chicken chunks for kids? I've come to this plaza for years and I can't believe I hadn't tried Ceviche 595 sooner. My friend and I wanted to share a ceviche and we got recommended one of the Ceviche Appetizers called "Ceviche Duo" that is basically 2 ceviches in 1 and I love a flavored ceviche. Their ceviche is made with grouper and it we DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend them. The area inside is on the smaller side with several tables and I believe one or two outside tables. One of the main flaws at making ceviche by other restaurants is that they leave the fish to marinate for hours. I highly recommend to request your ceviche to be spicy. If you don't like spicy food, at least order it mild spicy. The chili pepper rounds the flavor of a good ceviche. Arroz chaufa was also pretty moist and delicious. I loved this place. I came here with my wife to celebrate my new job offer and it was amazing. Very comparable to ceviche piano in Brickell when that restaurant was good. A hole in the wall yet the restaurant looks so nice and clean. My wife ordered the Chicha drink and loved it. Came here for the first time. Had a shrimp and fish ceviche and a jalea mixta. Restaurant is small, but looks very nice and tidy inside. Service was ok, 2 gentleman took care of us. The younger one was very attentive and helped us decide, however the older gentleman seemed in a hurry and kinda left us with a word in our mouth a few times. The ceviche was delicious, tasted fresh and light. I would definitely try a different ceviche next time. The jalea was disappointing. While the portion was very generous , the taste was not there. The tostones were not fresh (frozen from a bag) and they didn't have any tartar sauce which they didn't mention until the younger gentleman notice that we didn't have any on the table. Had an intense craving for Peruvian food. It's one of my favorite cuisines. Pescado a lo Macho was on my mind. After going on Yelp to find options for Peruvian food near Plantation, I came across Ceviche 595. I ate here a couple of years ago and wasn't that impressed. But decided to give it another try today because one of the photos on Yelp showed they had a reasonably priced lunch menu. Unfortunately for me, they seemed to have gotten rid of the lunch menu. So all of my food options were full price. I ordered the Pescado a lo Chorrillana for $16.95. A crispy fish fillet topped with onions and tomatoes in yellow chili pepper sauce served with potatoes and rice. It is exactly like the Pescado a lo Macho just without the extra seafood (calamari and shrimp). The food came quickly. However I was surprised to see the sauce was not yellow but red with more of a tomato base. Still it was delicious. read more

What an experience!!!! First time at Ceviche 595 this past Saturday afternoon. I walked by it on my way into Aventura Mall and saw the seating arrangements outside. Everyone was socially distanced the staff has double masks on and hand sanitizer was offered when walking towards the hostess stand which I appreciated. Each table has their own "coat stand" or hook idk what to call it that allowed us to hang our shoppings bags or purses if needed, also a plus. Now for the service, I put my name down with the hostess and waited maybe 10min or less? I was able to sit in my car and they texted me (again much appreciated) we went in were immediately sat and removed our masks once we reached our table. The manager I believe Rolando was his name walked by and stopped just to ask us how we were doing, we explained it was our first time there and it was all up hill from this point. He thoroughly explained the Chef specials, the virtual menu we were able to access from our phones and recommended two of the most delicious drinks I've ever had! I wish I knew the names of everything we ordered but thankfully I'll attach pictures with this review. The first thing that came out was a Lobster Ceviche sampler, so beautiful and so elegant. Our waitress Michelle was able to assist and remove the claws from their shell WHOLE. She was a delight and our food was impeccable. Rolando and Michelle were both so attentive and a sweet young man came by to clear our table or wipe things down in between our dishes coming out. Never have I had such a CLEAN and smooth experience at a food establishment. BEWARE!! I'm not one to write reviews, however, when you are serving rotten meat to a family I am very concerned. The only reason that I found out there was a problem is that one of the meats was not cooked through, the rest of the cuts had a funny taste to it but my son asked me to eat it because there was fat on it and when I tried it, it was completely rotten meat. The taste and smell was unbearable I had to spit it out.
