Was in the mood for a little ceviche and Hubby recommended we come to ceviche 595 since it's close to the house we shared a mixed ceviche where they make it fresh on the spot. It tasted amazing and refreshing and just the way I like it. The service was impeccable and it was pretty packed for being an afternoon. I wanna come back and try everything on the menu cause everything looks so good. This is gonna be my new go to spot for ceviche.

Huancaina. Not flavorful and did not taste like authentic huancaina sauce.

Visited over the weekend. Pretty sure I've ordered take out from them and have had a good experience. The owner was kind enough to allow my husband to eat his poke bowl in the outside area. I also asked about a kids menu and the owner was able to offer chicharrón de pollo for $15 which included two sides. I felt like this dish was fine. I love papa a la huancaina - actually I really love Peruvian food overall - I believe it's one of the best cuisines in the world. I reviewed the menu and saw that they only offered yuca a la huancaina. I really hate yuca so I asked the owner if it can be swapped for potatoes instead. He said he had a mashed potato option, and I was more than happy with that. When the order arrived I was so happy to see that there was a ton of sauce on top. Unfortunately, the sauce lacked flavor. It was extremely bland. I asked for salt and the salt did not fix the issue. The owner was chit chatting with another gentleman and didn't come by to check on our experience. I also ordered the ceviche (fish and shrimp mixed). The shrimp was perfect but I seemed to have an allergic reaction to the fish since every time I ate it gave me a burning/tingling sensation. I had my husband try it and he had the same reaction. When the owner finally came over, he gave me the check, again didn't check in about my experience. I told him about the ceviche and asked him to look into it. He saw that I left the entire huancaina dish and didn't ask why. He did go back and try the ceviche which I was happy about. I would hate for anyone else to have a bad experience. For reference I have ceviche often, and have tasted corvina hundreds of times - this is the first time this happened to me. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

This restaurants really really quaint. It feels really secluded which is nice. The man who runs it is so sweet and nice. The food was also very very good. The yuca and its sauce was a great starter. The mistake we made was thinking the plates for single people. We ordered ceviche for my wife and lomo saltado for me. The ceviche came out first and my saltado was nowhere to be found and we were very confused. We understood instantly when they took away the plates and brought new ones for my wife and I when the saltado came out. Aside from this mistake on our part, the food was insanely tasty and the portion size is great too. We'll definitely be coming back now that we know what we did wrong!

I come here every few weeks and honestly love it. I personally like going to a restaurant and not having an overbearing server, yet they do check in on you and bring your order in a timely manor. I always get the regular lomo or the lomo with pasta and hurricaina sauce and it's always really tasty and fresh. The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is pricey.. for me and my friend sharing a lomo & pasta WITH 2 sodas and a tip it's about $50 but I don't mind spending that every once in a while when I'm craving it and I know it's fresh.

Located in the Tower Shops in Davie (SE Corner University and SR 84) this small Peruvian restaurant serves up great fish ceviche. The price was a bit expensive, $24.61 (including tax). The staff are friendly, but they prefer to speak Spanish. I have never seen it crowded.

Stopped in ant the height of lunch on a Thursday and it was not busy. Not sure if that was a tell or not. The interior is bright and clean. With some outside seating. I ordered the lunch special. A lot of food. The half chicken was flavorful but a bit on the dry side. The rice really did t do anything for the meal except be a ton of it and the fries were good. Should have gotten ceviche lie all the reviews said. It seems a bit pricey for the portion sizes of the few ceviches that came out of the kitchen but the lunch special would have been two meals if I was close to home. It was ok. Give them a try and I will next time I am in the area.

Came here because my coworker wanted ceviche and was really blown away . Everything was very very fresh and flavorful . Also loved their spicy sauce which went great with the ceviche . Nice environment and vibe - also good location and the service was great

I eat Peruvian food often and have gone to quite a few different places and boyyyyyy am I glad I found this one. The best one by FAR. The food is consistently very delicious. I've tried a few dishes now here, and I have loved every single one. Even the chicha morada is the best I've had. The service is also great, very nice. They also play Peruvian cumbia, which I love. I don't think I can go back to the other spots, they just don't measure up to Ceviche 595. I'm looking forward to trying all of their plates! I'm obsessed if you couldn't tell already lol Super highly recommend

I've come to this plaza for years and I can't believe I hadn't tried Ceviche 595 sooner. My friend and I wanted to share a ceviche and we got recommended one of the Ceviche Appetizers called "Ceviche Duo" that is basically 2 ceviches in 1 and I love a flavored ceviche. Their ceviche is made with grouper and it we DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend them. The area inside is on the smaller side with several tables and I believe one or two outside tables. Small, casual but nice. Staff was also so nice! Food and service were both quick! I would return.

Ceviche De Pescado Seafood Chaufa

Location: Davie Florida. Inside a small shopping plaza Ambiance: tiny cozy place with outdoor and indoor seating. Food: As a peruvian myself, I am very cautious when I review peruvian good. My standard that I use for comparison is the food that you can get in peruvian territory. This place is very good. Fish was fresh and was cooked in the moment. One of the main flaws at making ceviche by other restaurants is that they leave the fish to marinate for hours. I highly recommend to request your ceviche to be spicy. If you don't like spicy food, at least order it mild spicy. The chili pepper rounds the flavor of a good ceviche. Arroz chaufa was also pretty moist and delicious. Place is owned by the chef who is an excellent cook from Northern Peru (Chepen) Service is outstanding when you have the chef taking care of business Prices were decent. This is not a cheap place. Chaufa was around 22$ the dish

Delicious fried whole snapper

Amazing service by George. He was very friendly and was helpful. It was the first time we ate at this restaurant and he was very patient with us. He gave his personal favorites which are so delicious. Great food and very quiet and relaxing.

Best lomo Saltado we've had. I'm half Peruvian and traveling from Cali and shared the ceviche de pescado, parihuela and lomo saltado. Delicious food and great service! Compliments to the chef! We will def be back!

Nice little restaurant tucked away in a plaza. The waiter was very welcoming. They give you a nice dish of corn kernels to snack on. I ordered the Ceviche de Maricos en Crema Tres Ajies. Beautiful presentation and the taste was awesome! Good assortment of squid , octopus, a mussel, fish and shrimp. Parking is ample. The interior is simple but decorated tastefully with Incan art on the walls.

Most entrees are $18.99, plus you receive and appetizer and a soda can. I ordered the ceviche for my appetizer and the Chaufa fried rice with chicken for my entree. The portion of rice was huge! It was delicious as was the ceviche. The guy next to me was eating something that looked delicious. I asked him what it was and we had a nice conversation. For dessert, I enjoyed the passionfruit mousse. This is a real treat and just the right size. I love this place and if you like Peruvian food, I bet you will too.

The restaurant is small, with room for about 40 diners. It's bright and airy and on a Monday afternoon at lunchtime the World Cup games blasted on the TV and the restaurant was about half full. It features lunch specials for less than $20 that include an appetizer, entree, and beverage. There was one main server and what seemed like an owner, who also was serving. She served us and though she lagged at times, she was very congenial. Hubby had the lomo saltado lunch special and paid extra for a ceviche appetizer. I love tacu tacu, so I had a pollo saltado with the rice dish. Both meals were delicious. We especially liked that they weren't too salty (often a problem with Peruvian saltado dishes). And I asked to have my onions cooked well and they obliged. My onions were perfect, cooked but with a slight crunch. I was a bit disappointed in the tacu tacu. I thought it was a tad dry. The gravy did help, but I didn't have enough and didn't think it possible to ask for more. Next time I will ask for extra gravy and stick with plain rice. They charge an extra 4% to use a credit card. (Something that has been cropping up a lot in restaurants.) We managed to dig out $65 cash between us to pay the bill. I guess we have to start carrying more cash, or pay the extra charges.

I ordered the tenderloin over the huancaina risotto and it was a huge portion (not a lunch menu item). The sauce was a bit salty so I did not take it "to go", just the delicious risotto and the tenderloin chunks. Three friends ordered the "trio" sampler with ceviche, fried calamari and some risotto; a couple friends ordered the sautéed chicken with white rice and French fries that looked spectacular, and a couple other friends ordered the fettuccini in huancaina sauce with the breaded chicken filet that was a humongous dish and very yummy! Finally one friend ordered a Maki Sushi roll that was beautifully plated, and another ordered the seafood risotto that was also very yummy. I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. One thing about me: I'm absolutely obsessed with Peruvian cuisine. Unfortunately, this place completely missed the mark. The service was terrible from the start. They use electronic tablets as menus, but mine was dead. I had to wait nearly 10 minutes just to get someone's attention and receive a replacement. That's just the beginning. My food arrived before my drinks, and I had to repeatedly ask for a bottle of water and a spoon. I ordered the chaufa, and it was incredibly oily. It didn't even have the proper color or flavor you'd expect from a good Peruvian fried rice. I would've taken a photo, but by that point we had already waited so long that I just wanted to eat. To make matters worse, the dish was mostly rice with maybe 10 pieces of chicken scattered throughout. I left half of it untouched. I also ordered ceviche and specifically wanted shrimp and fish. Instead, they brought me fish only and somehow upsold me to a different fish that I never asked for. Of course, I didn't find that out until the bill arrived. Overall, it was overpriced, disappointing, and nowhere near worth the money. Save yourself the frustration and spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.
