Food and service were very good. I just don't appreciate being over charged 4% for using credit card. NONE OF THE CREDIT CARDS charge 4% to their Vendors. Reasonable will be 3% max. Also, they included the tip in the bill. We were just 4 people. Florida law authorizes restaurants to include tip when the party at the table is 8 (EIGHT) or more. No FOUR people. I think this is against the law since was not previously disclosed by the restaurant. read more

Still 5 stars. The service here is always great. It is a small restaurant and they really appreciate their customers. I love that. The lunch special is so worth it. Most entrees are $18.99, plus you receive and appetizer and a soda can. I ordered the ceviche for my appetizer and the Chaufa fried rice with chicken for my entree. The portion of rice was huge! It was delicious as was the ceviche. The guy next to me was eating something that looked delicious. I asked him what it was and we had a nice conversation. For dessert, I enjoyed the passionfruit mousse. This is a real treat and just the right size. I love this place and if you like Peruvian food, I bet you will too. read more

Located in the Home Depot plaza at the northwest corner of University Drive and Sterling Road, this is a spot with many retail stores. So, there is lots of parking. The restaurant is small, with room for about 40 diners. It's bright and airy and on a Monday afternoon at lunchtime the World Cup games blasted on the TV and the restaurant was about half full. It features lunch specials for less than $20 that include an appetizer, entree, and beverage. There was one main server and what seemed like an owner, who also was serving. She served us and though she lagged at times, she was very congenial. Hubby had the lomo saltado lunch special and paid extra for a ceviche appetizer. I love tacu tacu, so I had a pollo saltado with the rice dish. Both meals were delicious. We especially liked that they weren't too salty (often a problem with Peruvian saltado dishes). And I asked to have my onions cooked well and they obliged. My onions were perfect, cooked but with a slight crunch. I was a bit disappointed in the tacu tacu. I thought it was a tad dry. The gravy did help, but I didn't have enough and didn't think it possible to ask for more. Next time I will ask for extra gravy and stick with plain rice. They charge an extra 4% to use a credit card. (Something that has been cropping up a lot in restaurants.) We managed to dig out $65 cash between us to pay the bill. I guess we have to start carrying more cash, or pay the extra charges. read more

Stopped by for a quick lunch when in the area. People dinning seemed like regulars - coming in and leaving happy. Initially I was excited to see what the food would be like. After ordering a classic mixed seafood ceviche and a side of potatoes with huancaina sauce, I noticed the flavor of both the leche de Tigre and the huancaina sauce were missing a pop of pepper flavor that I'm used to. Also, after leaving my teeth and gums were itchy which rarely happens when eating ceviche. Overall, the food was good but i wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

If you want to branch out your palette just a little more, I highly recommend trying some Peruvian food! Oh Ceviche is hidden between other shops located in the plaza with Home Depot. Never knew it was located there but with the continuous flow of customers that came in and out, others did. The staff is very welcoming the minute you walk in and explains the special(s) that might be happening at the time. If you arrive during their Lunch Special, I recommend doing it as you get an appetizer, entrée and a drink with your order. Certain items are excluded from this special but it is noted on the menu. I was luck to arrive during to lunch special which I ordered Papa a la Huancaina. This yellow, creamy sauce over potatoes had so much flavor and the right amount of heat that I was scrapping every drop sauce off the plate before handing it over. For my entree, I ordered the Linguini a la Huancaina w/ chicken. This overall dish was super delicious. The chicken is flatten when cooked and the pasta to Huancaina sauce portions are perfect for each bite. Ceviche was order by my co works order which I recommend everyone to try at least once at Peruvian restaurant. For someone who is not a fan of fish or certain seafood, Peruvian ceviche is made a certain way to mask that fishy/ seafood flavor. You get this acidic, yummy bite from lime juice and onions that are included. I do recommend bringing some kind of jacket or coverup because the inside of the restaurant was very nice but extremely cold. I saw many parties chose to sit outside after being sat inside due to the temperature. Also the bathroom location, there is a hallway near the bar you will need to walk down to get to it. Smells like fresh limes walking down the hallway and is very clean but can be a tad confusing looking for it generally. read more

This restaurant is a treat. They have authentic Peruvian food that tastes great. Everything is really fresh. My friend and I ordered lunch specials. It comes with a can of soda, appetizer and entree. This is valid Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 4pm. It is a great value. I ordered Causa for my appetizer. It is a potato with avocado, your choice of chicken or tuna and sliced egg. I chose the chicken. This appetizer was OK. I ate most of it but would not order it again. It lacked flavor. I ordered Lomo Saltado. This is beef tenderloin with a delicious sauce and white rice and fries. This was delicious. My friend ordered ceviche and a different entree. It looked similar to mine. I forgot the name.of it. She was happy with her lunch. Our server was excellent. He was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. read more

Must try spot if you like Peruvian food. I recommend trying the Causa as an app. The tuna one is really good. Causa is like a cold casserole made of potatoes with a creamy tuna mixture. This resturant serves it with a slice of avocado. As a dish the Anticuchos and Tallarines a la Huacaina with skirt steak are great choice. The sauce of the Tallarines is flavorful and the skirt was a great pair. The steak was a decent size and also cooked very flavorful. One of my guests had the pulpo roll which was good but a bit over powering on the onion flavor. I always stick to the classic dishes when I go to a Peruvian restaurant because those will be the best hit. On the weekends they sell picarones. They only make a certain batch so ask your server if they have any left. Picarones are a sweet fried dough dessert served with a delicious sweet dip like syrup. Highly recommend to try this restaurant. read more

This is our second visit, it's literally across the road from us! This time around we had the Parrilla Mariscos and the Chaufa con Pollo. This place doesn't miss, the food is amazing. It was fresh and served super hot with two types of hot sauces to match, salsa verde and ricotto. Next visit we'll explore the ceviche menu again. If you're in the mood for Peruvian cuisine at a price that won't break the bank this is the place. read more

Great local place to get some authentic and delicious ceviche and other Peruvian dishes! We started off with the lemonade and it was made in house and delicious. We then got the causa sampler, which was also very good as it had a variety of either chicken, shrimp, fish. For our main dishes, we got the risotto with pollo saltado as well as the jalea. The service was also impeccable! From the moment we walked in, we were always warmly greeted, and our server continued to check in on us throughout our meal to make sure everything turned out the way we wanted it to. Definitely recommend! read more

I came in with high hopes for this place but I was very disappointed . The ceviche fish was very raw and it clear not white. The server didn't check on us .People that came after us got there food first and was attended more. Next to us there was a table that was celebrating a beautiful moment ..the server unintentionally threw away my left food because she was distracted by the other table. read more

Really really good food coupled with very friendly service. Ceviche is star of the show, of course, as the name suggests. We ordered mixed triple ceviche with three different sauces, bueno! It is family owned, and the device is my current better than in many other places in So Florida. Prices are fairly reasonable. The main dishes, both fish and beef, were quite good too. Soup is the meal in its own right too. Highly recommend. read more

This place was okay. If you don't eat seafood do not come here. The food of overall was okay. The pasta was good. Not what I expected. The service was okay and the restaurant was not busy at all but the decor was beautiful and the music was not too loud. The passion fruit moose was soo good ( not pictured) I would come here again because of the pasta, but it's not a meat friendly place just seafood. read more

5941 S University Drive Davie,fl 33328 954-900-3463 1/1/23 2 persons 7 pm This restaurant is located in the same plaza as home depot behind Sonny's barbeque in a small strip mall with other restaurants. Cozy restaurant that is super busy. My friend that is Peruvian said that the food was authentic and of good quality. She ordered the chicken and rice in a creamy sauce and I ordered the vegan appetizer. Our food was delicious but I found some of the prices rather high. This is the perfect place to get an authentic Peruvian meal with a beautiful presentation. I was told they could make me some vegan meals because there was a lot of cheese, milk, meat, chicken, and fish on their menu. I will gladly return again. Service was attentive and parking plentiful. Where do I even begin. This restaurant is a hidden gem in my opinion. It's a small family owned restaurant with Amazing Peruvian food. They are very attentive to detail and service. The overpriced $23 lomo saltado tasted BURNT, what a disappointment for a $200 meal (everything is overpriced, $4 for extra onions). Owner says it's a family restaurant, but she was snappy & disrespectful in front of my four children because I didn't agree with her exuberant 21.5% in fees and gratuity added to my check. She kept snapping back at me because I asked them not to charge more than what was stated on my receipt, then she refused to give me a to-go cup because she has the personality of a stubborn child (see her response below). This "owner" doesn't appreciate your business, DON'T GO THERE. I will NEVER return. read more

Wow wow wow! What an amazing restaurant. Last night My Husband and I came here as a date night. It was not as packed so we were able to be seated immediately. There was a gentleman on the keyboard and music was playing, so the ambiance was really nice.. Once we were seated we were greeted immediately. We were so hungry but we knew what we wanted so we ordered immediately. The ceviche de corvina was excellent! It was fresh and well seasoned. We ordered Jalea and Chaufa and both were amazing. My husband and I ordered a pitcher of Sangria which was delicious. I wish we had dessert but we were stuffed! Customer service was excellent! The staff was very attentive and polite. Located in a strip mall on the corner of Stirling and University, you might just drive right by this place. I know I did for many many years. I'd say it is a hidden gem but the restaurant was pretty full at lunch time so I imagine they have a pretty loyal following as they have been there for many years. Everything from the empanadas to ceviche to the lomo saltado to the dessert were delicious. The beef hearts were tasty but not my cup of tea. We were absolutely craving ceviche and after some searching around on yelp we ended up checking out Oh Ceviche. We stopped by around 1pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was actually very busy, with almost all available tables filled! The interior has a small but welcoming feel with about 10 tables. Currently they are only seating about half of those tables due to Covid. As we walked to the front to order we looked around at the plates other guests had and wow! Beautifully presented dishes with really large portions, so we were very excited! After scrolling through the contactless menu on our phones we placed a takeout order for Fish Ceviche and one Classic Tiradito. We were told our order would take about 20 minutes. To give all of the other guests some space and not take up another table in the restaurant, we sat outside on a bench to wait for our food. We checked back in a few minutes early and our order was ready. The Tiradito was very interesting. It was my first time tasting Tiradito and I really liked it. It's much creamier than ceviche and has a sweeter taste to it. The ceviche was delicious, I loved the marinate and the size of the pieces of fish were perfect bites. Both dishes came with a few green, sliced red onions, Peruvian corn, and sweet potato. These sweet potatoes were the sweetest most tasty sweet potatoes I have ever tried! The order also came with a complimentary side of what I know to be called Canchita, however I don't know it's that is the official name, and two very flavorful and spicy sauces. The portions of both dishes were super large! We had leftovers that made up a whole other meal! Overall I loved the experience. Their menu has a great variety of Peruvian dishes and I look forward to trying more new Peruvian dishes I haven't had before whenever we visit Oh Ceviche again! read more

Wonderful place delicious authentic food. We came very late, half an hour before close and received a perfect service that reminded more of a home cooked meal than a restaurant. We were bracing for a hole in the wall vibe but were pleasantly surprised, as the place was very cozy. Everything we tried was amazing. Soups, entries, apps. I must say as the name suggests Ceviche is their special and it didn't disappoint. Save for the one Ceviche we made from the fish we caught, this was probably the best one we tried. read more
