Cannot believe it took me 2 years to try here. Ive been hearing about here for so long by family members, friends and the community. We decided to try here for an after work meet up. They offer a great variety of foods, lots of appetizers and different kinds. See menu in photos. I decided to try the bang bang shrimp, which it does state that it comes with 12 shrimps. Let me tell you, each shrimp was coated perfectly, and you could see the whole shrimp, even after leaving it at the table, you still would get a good crunch out of it.. not sure how they do it but it works! Ive tried banging bang shrimp at many places, and I can honestly say this is the best one I ever had. Not once did my shrimp texture ever feel soggy. I tried the chicken quesadilla and boneless wings and flat breads, all were delicious, none of us had any issues with any of the foods. And all the drinks were also good, none of my friends had any issues. Had the honor of being able to get a sneak peek of the speak easy and I have to say I am shook. Normally this is something you would see in Miami or Fort Lauderdale but for local broward county to have this is just super cool! Its located behind the book shelf, open on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays. As soon as you walk in you feel so peaceful and calm and cozy. If you walk in there feeling negative, sad or anxious and then you will leave with a sense of inner peace that help you feel some calm vybes. This is definitely a spot to have a date night and drinks or even a cappuccino. We got to meet one of the owners Dylan and he was such a delight, even shared a lovely story of the family inspiration behind opening this restaurant. You will definitely walk out of here feeling positivity . Will be coming again more often. I was pretty excited to be trying out their speak easy room to attend a comedy night, but it turned out to be allright. I've been here at least twice before. One time for a small karaoke with a friend and a birthday event another time. To use their karaoke, you'd have to be in the main room and they had more food options, like appetizers and a couple types of soups if I recall. While in the speakeasy comedy event, there was a full bar which was expected but I also noticed that they only had a small bites menu. I wasn't in the mood to have almost any of the bites since I was very full from the late lunch. So, I opted for the dessert they had on there, the espresso affogato. That satisfied my sweet tooth and I'm more likely to get it again. I was a little disappointed that there was no happy hour menu like last time especially on a weeknight -- it was a Tuesday. The ambiance was still nice and the service was fair. I certainly hope to be in the regular room for the future events next time! read more

The first impression upon arrival is the sheer size of the venue. The front area offers more secluded seating, while the back opens into a large hall complete with a bar, stage, and dance floor. We visited on a Tuesday at 7 PM with a group of nine and had no difficulty finding seating, as the space was largely empty. Service was a highlight of the experience--our server was attentive, patient, and accurate when taking our orders. The happy hour promotion was appealing, offering two margaritas for $14. However, the drinks themselves were underwhelming: the passion fruit margarita was overly sweet, while the traditional version was excessively tart. For food, I ordered two tacos--one beef and one fish ($4 each). Unfortunately, they did not meet expectations; the tortillas tasted store-bought rather than freshly made, which impacted the overall quality. We were also there for the comedy show scheduled to begin at 8 PM. Based on the setup, we assumed it would take place on the main stage in the large hall. Only later were we informed that the show was actually being held in a separate, smaller room with its own bar and stage, where it had already begun. This lack of clear communication was disappointing and detracted from the experience. Overall, while the service was commendable and the venue has potential, the food, drinks, and organizational aspects fell short. As a result, I would be unlikely to return. read more

This restaurant is a hidden gem with live entertainment every night and a full bar with splendid employees. The building alone is huge so I shouldn't have been surprised they made good use of that and added a speakeasy. brilliantly done. Food was flavor and not over the top. Waitress checked on us almost every minute until a child fell and even then she took care of him and us, it was too precious. We even got to speak to the owner which was cool. I'll be returning. I had a great experience at Ovivi's during happy hour. My server, Dillion, was amazing from start to finish. He was very attentive, constantly checked in to make sure I had everything I needed, and kept the refills coming without me having to ask. He also took the time to explain the menu and made great recommendations. On top of that, he is a great mixologist--the drinks were on point! This is going to be my new go to spot when I travel to fort Lauderdale-Hollywood ! The food was absolutely delicious- you can tell it is made with love ! The portions are huge and well worth your money. The vibes were immaculate! We had dinner in the main room with live music and then headed to the speakeasy for drinks. Everything was 5/5! The service was impeccable and the owners were so sweet and engaged with their customers. This is truly a family owned business that makes dining experiences absolutely wonderful. What a Hollywood hot spot! When you first walk in you think it's just a regular restaurant. But ha! You are wrong! To the right is a speakeasy hidden behind a bookshelf. To the left is a hall leading to a small dining area and THEN another huge room with a full bar, stage, dance floor, and more seating! My friend and I loved the festive ambiance and it was so sweet that the owner came by and gave us a personal tour of the place. It's a family owned place run by New Yorkers who managed to bring the big apple fun down to South Florida. Our server was also good. She checked on us often and made great suggestions. The food was exceptional- we especially enjoyed the chimichurri steak and salmon. I don't think I'd order the shrimp appetizer or the brownie dessert again but I'm definitely coming back to try new things on the menu! read more

Plenty of up front parking with an inviting exterior. The ambiance immediately displayed the WOW factor as you enter with the name Ovivi's illuminated brightly in red and lime proudly affixed against the wall in full view. We were sat by the friendly server, Shannon, who explained some of menu. It was happy hour and we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Both were well seasoned and again, WOW. The entrees were a foodies dream providing both awe-inspiring taste and creative presentation. The juicy Grilled Mahi Mahi Sandwich wedged between a tender brioche bun was well complemented by seasoned thin french fries. The generous portion of Coconut Curry Salmon hovered over a bed of jasmine rice and was seasoned perfectly with aromatic spices and a hint of lemon zest. The manager took us on a tour of The Hidden Gem Lounge which was an intimate low lit addition to the rest of the restaurant. The massive back room offers a stage with live music on the weekends including a full liquor bar with an occasional DJ. Shame on me for never trying this place sooner. Came here on a quiet Sunday early afternoon and had the run of the entire inside. Beautifully decorated restaurant with a Speak Easy added to the ambiance - I want to rent this out for a party. Loved the Charred Chicken Caesar Salad with an Aperol Spritz to wash it down. What A Great Night! I don't even know where to begin. There were four of us, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted so warmly. We were shown to the Speakeasy, the Hidden Gem Lounge, and it did not disappoint! We were one of the first parties to arrive for our reservation, and Jazzi Jones was there welcoming us in. Our server, the bartender, everyone was just beyond amazing. We had the chicken and steak skewers, lamb chops and the potatoes - they were beyond delicious and seasoned and cooked perfectly. Jazzi gave an incredible performance interacting with the crowd, getting everyone to dance and just be in the moment. It was truly an unforgettable evening. I was looking for a place to take my mother for brunch, I remembered that Ovivi's has a brunch on Sundays. Having experienced several meals there recently, we went and were not disappointed at all. The service was excellent and always accompanied by a friendly smile. Other team members would come by and check on us regularly, as did the owner Dylan and their chef. Super nice folks. Our beverage and food came out promptly, fresh and hot! The plating and presentation were excellent, and the food was delicious. This is a must try place! I had an hour to spare before my son's 4pm speech therapy; so, I decided to take a chance and eat here. I was concerned it might be too loud even though it was the afternoon. My son is autistic and doesn't like loud noises. Plus he was already crying since he couldn't go to the park today. The lights were low and jazz was playing. They provided a water for him ( which I was concerned about because he only likes Saratoga water). He drank his water and instantly calmed down. My drink, Miami Vice, came quickly I'm a light weight and the drink was perfect for me. If you need stronger ask for a double shot of rum. The lemon pepper lamb chops came with mint jelly which sent the flavors through the roof. You know how they say strip clubs got the best chicken wings well Ovivis made me feel that way about there lamb chops with mint jelly. And the fries to go were cooked to perfection too. From the entrance, service and attention was evident and extraordinary. My husband and I visited Ovivi's for a midweek date night and NOTHING about our visit disappointed. We visited on a Tuesday, which is one of the 4 days where Happy Hour is ALL DAY. That basically means 2 for 1 drinks and almost half off certain apps. The portions were great, the food was tasty and flavorful, and the drinks did what they had to do with no light-handed measurements. Please visit this amazing location, if not for the food or drinks or service or ambiance, then for the fact that it is a father and his 3 sons whose blood, sweat, and tears have gone into it. Establishments like this make the Pembroke Pines/Davie area shine! Stop only frequenting places like Coopers Hawk and BJs Brewhouse, who see you as another peg in their dining room map. We came in on a Monday night and sadly missed the music. As a matter of fact, my wife and I were the only patrons at the restaurant. The staff outnumbered us by a lot, so we got a great deal of attention. The best part of the night? Kayla. What an outstanding server and greeter she is. Friendly, attentive, and with that big smile on her face. If this is a small sample of what service is like on a night with entertainment, then this place must be awesome. Restaurant owners, give Kayla a raise. I really like the menu. The choices are diverse. There were at least seven appetizers I could have gotten. We decided on the conch fritters. Nice and hot. Not too much conch flavor, but good. We also order the wok rice dinners. Great change of pace. They are a bit sweet. Lots of veggies and a significant amount of protein. (Look at all that shrimp!) At the end, I was in my car about to pull out and I see Kayla running to my car. She had my credit card in her hand! I had forgotten it and she ran out of the restaurant to return it to me. Incredibly slow service we started with a pre-dinner drink in the speakeasy. It literally took over 30 minutes to get a cocktail. Staffing is not a priority here there was one bartender for the entire speakeasy. We moved to dinner in the main dining room. Service did not improve. One wait staff came and took food orders for two of a party of six. About 10 minutes later on different weight staff appeared asking if we wanted to order food. It was very odd. Food was okay. I went in for Karaoke, on a Thursday night. We were greeted with a, hello, at the door and seated immediately, very welcoming. The karaoke had already started with people already participating. The DJ was fabulous. I wish I had got her name. I got the coconut shrimp. A woman in my party got the burger and another, the chicken poppers.
