This is a fantastic, cozy brunch spot with traditional brunch food, but the deliciously different menu options are totally worth the adventure! Strawberry and regular mimosas are hand poured, not premade in a batch! For an appetizer we ordered the Sicilian Arancini and however they make their bolognese sauce is soooo good. Hearty, flavorful and perfectly paired with the cheesy arancini's. The Traditional Eggs Benedict tasted freshly made, the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy. The Israeli Crispy Chicken was my favorite!! The chicken was crispy, the meat was tender. The Matbucha with the Morrancan spices, tomato, roasted red peppers reminded me of a dish we ate in Sicily. So LOVED it! Both our eggs were poached to perfection, too. The service by Isaac was excellent! Attentive, but not overbearing, and friendly. Steph, the manager, was also the mixologist and she makes a mean Espresso Martini. Pricing is reasonable! Rosalia's kitchen is quite the adventure. From what I gather, they change up the theme so that you get something a little different when you go! I went during the Enchanted theme and it was nicely decorated and had a lot of cool drink options to match. I started off with a "Sherwood prince" to drink. The server asked if I liked Old fashioned style drinks and I said yes and he wanted to make sure since a lot of people aren't sure what they may be ordering. Overall the drink was way too on the sweet side, wasn't balanced and I couldn't finish it. For the Appetizer, we got the meatball sampler. The cranberry Pinot Noire, peach Bellini, and limoncello were all delicious and honestly could have eaten those things the whole night. For the main dish, I ordered the Gnocchi Alla Vucciria. It was a hefty portion of Chicken Schnitzel topped with a Gnocchi in a Vodka sauce. This was a very tasty dish and even though I was full, I kept eating! Two things made this visit less than desired but I hope to give it another chance. My server was young and was too playful in a picking on you, making fun kind of way which I did not appreciate. It got to the point where if he said something else to my wife in a playful mean way I was going to put him in his place. And lastly, the drink menu was talked up a lot and felt like my drink was overly sweet and not balanced. Not sure if the customer base just likes sweet drinks but I would hope if you are saying your drinks are top of the line that it includes the balance of ingredients as well. Overall Rosalia's kitchen has great food and a nice environment but think the service and drink fell short. I hope to give it another shot. We visited here a few weeks into their opening. That was quite some time ago. Their decor is different, but the amazing service remains the same. The food is delish, and their menu is fun. They have an "enchanted" theme going and every detail is within theme, down to the bathroom! Charlie was our waitress and she is absolutely adorable and very attentive. The bartender came out to see how we liked our drinks, and the food runner took her time explaining what everything on the sampler platter was. This family owned Italian - Mediterranean fusion restaurant brings creativity and excitement to dining! Voted as Yelps top 100 places to eat, this themed restaurant shows you why it deserves that spot. This month, the theme is "Enchanted Forest". They are completely decorated to mimic a fairy tale. The menu is also tailored to match. The space is fairly small so a reservation is needed. When reserving, I was able to purchase a fairy crown for $7. Elf ears are also available. I'm a sucker for theme related things so I was very excited! We ordered a few tapas which included the potato cigars, crispy chicken sliders, spanakopitas and Sicilian arancini. Every bite was delicious, but the show stoppers were the drinks. The menu included 3 themed drinks. The Whispering Woods, The Flowering Meadow and The Sherwood Prince. They were all presented in the creative, super fun ways. My fav is the Sherwood Price. It's basically a dark and stormy smoked old fashion. The cherry on top was our kind and friendly waitress. I think this is definitely somewhere you come more for the vibe. They really go all out for the decorations for each season, and the menu is updated accordingly as well. The food was decent, but took a while to come out. And while there were some really good dishes, there were also some that I probably wouldn't get again. Some standouts were the hummus platter. The hummus was so good, and the pita was so warm and fluffy. But make sure to eat while it's warm because the pita gets kind of hard when you let it sit. I also really enjoyed the Israeli crispy chicken and the bountiful harvest risotto. And the fruit salad was really fresh and sweet. However, we ordered chicken with the risotto and it came out really dry, and the bottom was kind of burnt too. Same with the brunch sliders, the burgers were very well done which ended up making them pretty dry. We also got the challahback girl waffle which was ... interesting. I'm very familiar with pairing sweetd with brie cheese, but it takes a while to get used to the combo of brie and white chocolate. It definitely wasn't bad, but yeah just takes a moment for you to get used to it. And another note, the space itself isn't the largest. We made a reservation for a table of 9 and we were all kind of squished at one table. I think max amount of 8 would probably work, but most of their tables seem best for parties of 1-4. read more

My friends and I have been here a few times now. The food is always really good and we always enjoy the different themed drinks. We love coming during Halloween and Christmas. They do have a very strict 2 hour limit on tables. We had a large table during Halloween with 8 people and we all ate and had a couple rounds of drinks and then they asked if we wanted another round of drinks so we all got one and right after the drinks came out, they told us we actually needed to give up the table and said we could go stand outside with our drinks lol the manager told us she was sorry but that's just how it is and that's fine but I'm not sure why we were asked if we wanted another round if they were about to kick us out. I'd heard so many great things about Rosalia's Kitchen, a Mediterranean restaurant, and let me just say they definitely live up to the hype! Sunday night, my friend and I headed over for dinner, especially since we'd heard the holiday decorations were a must-see. We were all about those festive vibes! Quick tip: on weekends, you'll want to make a reservation. The place was packed! We got there around 9 pm and didn't get seated until maybe 9:30. Even then, the only available table was outside (the next inside table wasn't free until 10:30), but it was still nice and surprisingly quiet out there. Plus, around 10, we got to move inside to a table, just in time to order! For drinks, we kicked things off with a Mrs. Claus' Sugar Cookietini. I love a good martini, so I was excited to try it, but since I was driving, I went for the mocktail version and it was perfect. For dinner, we both did the build-your-own pasta. I had rigatoni with the vodka sauce, and my friend went for rigatoni with the Sicilian ragu. Of course, we swapped halves to get the best of both worlds! Both pastas were delicious. The sauces were a little sweet, perfectly seasoned, and the meatballs we added to both dishes were amazing. The holiday decorations were beautiful and made the whole space feel magical. There is also a time limit on your reservation so plan accordingly. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The holiday drinks are adorable and some are more festively displayed than others. Those can be a little pricey but if you're looking for the vibe, it's worth the aesthetics. The Jingle Juice and Mrs. Claus' Sugar Cookietini were both tasty with one being simpler and the other being sweeter (much sweeter, if that's your thing). For the food, the Sicilian Arancini with beef bolognese was tasty and cooked perfectly. The Israeli Crispy Chicken & Waffles was ok but wouldn't order again. The chicken was flat like a schnitzel vs traditional fried chicken and the bacon could have been more cooked. Lastly the Italian Pride was definitely the pride of the table. A great blend of traditional Caprese flavors with the twist of challah bread. It was a great sandwich which I'd definitely get again. Minus a rude comment made from one waitress that seemed annoyed that a large group requires a larger amount of effort to service. However the 18% gratuity automatically included in the bill was a fair reward I'd say! Ultimately the food and drinks were the stars of the show! We had the Grinch drink which is a showstopper in itself. The Mrs. Claus cocktail and the cocktail flight which were all made very well! I'd highly recommend trying either option. Greek breakfast got rave reviews from the group for its freshness and flavor variety! The traditional breakfast with bacon, eggs, toast and home fries was good. However the home fries were a disappointment due to be overcooked and dry. As a Biscoff lover, the Holden Lotus waffles was an instant yes for me! It came with 2 waffles, vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle and biscoff cookies! The presentation was flawless. This review considers the last four visits to Rosalia's. It's become a favorite spot for lunches with friends. I've heard comments that the restaurant is very Instagram friendly. That's very true, but that isn't doesn't mean the food isn't worth the visit on its own. The place gets decorated top to bottom for every holiday and, even when there is no holiday, there is a theme. (One time I went it was done up like an underwater escape, complete with mermaids.) Theme drinks are served in custom drinkware, and it's a lot of fun. The food is a mix of Italian and Mediterranean. The choices tend to be pricey, although the servings are large. Drinks are tasty and I do believe they are overpriced. I had a sangria that contained other liquors, such as brandy, Grand Marnier, and schnapps, but $20 for the glass is a lot. Service is mostly good. We've had a server disappear for quite a while when we were waiting to ask for the check, but that was the only hiccup in all my times there. (The restaurant was not busy at the time, so I don't know what happened.) Anyway, the atmosphere is fun, the food and drinks are darned good and the service is mostly good. This was not just dinner, it was an experience. As you enter you will be transported to a magical pixie garden. Alex, our server, greeted us with a sweet smile and after finding that this was our first visit she suggested looking at the "secret" menu as well as the printed one. Using a QR code and a password (found on Insta or given by the server) there are additional seasonal menu items. Unfortunately my husband could not get the code to work and when I went to the website and entered the password nothing happened. We had to use Alex's phone to see it. She had to do that for the table next to us also. I would suggest offering a guest WiFi to assist in access. We started with spinach burekas and arancini. The burekas, served with olives and tahini, were a little dry. They needed more filling Three large arancini were served in a copper, kettle like bowl with a puddle of meat sauce beneath them. So delicious! My husband ordered the custom pasta - gnocchi with pistachio pesto sauce and I ordered the White Lotus from the secret menu - chicken schnitzel with gnocchi in white lemon sauce. When delivered to the table the crispy chicken was on a plate alone then the runner poured the sauced gnocchi over the chicken from a hot skillet. Nice presentation plus it keeps the chicken crispy until your ready to eat. While sitting next to the bar we witnessed some specialty cocktails with very creative presentations being served to other guests. We'll have to try some of these during our next visit. We had a great conversation with Alex at the end of the evening and learned more about the owners and their vision. Rosalia's Kitchen is the most immersive themed restaurant I have ever been too. The decorations they put up for Halloween were absolutely incredible, and I can't imagine how long they took to put up. The best part of the all the decorations were the hilarious voodoo dolls attached to their poor food reviews... very unique. Another awesome touch is the way you access their "secret menu" on your phone from a QR code on the hardback menu. You actually have to ask the waiter for the password, which was a neat touch. This is my second time visiting Rosalia's and the food is incredible. I've never had anything bad or even average. On this visit, for an appetizer, we got the spanakopita which were amazing with the crispy and flaky dough wrapped around spinach and cream cheese (and i think a little pesto). For the entree, we got The White Lotus off the secret menu. It was a perfectly fried chicken schnitzel topped with pillowy gnocchi and a lemon based cream sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly and surprisingly worked well together. The schnitzel was crispy but not greasy, the gnocchi melted in your mouth, and lemon cream sauce was very flavorful and fresh. Another really interesting concept you don't see at many South Florida restaurants, is that the entire staff is essentially your server. They all work as a team. You can flag down anyone at anytime for whatever you might need, and I think every member of the staff checked on us at one point or another. Friendly, professional, and very well trained. It is a bit on the pricy side.. but i would categorize this as not only a meal, but an experience. This is a fantastic date spot that is sure to impress your significant other. We loved the Halloween decorations and theming so much, we booked a dinner reservation in late November while we were still sitting at the table to see what they have in store for Christmas. They decorate for the holidays so I know Christmas will be amazing. Aside from the decor, their drinks and food will be themed which makes the entire experience that much more fun! I ordered the build-your-own rigatoni with vodka sauce and chicken, but the pasta came out a bit dry. The cheeseburger sliders were really good, and the Pasta di Cuore was solid. The highlight food-wise was definitely the Elderwood fettuccini (not pictured) -- you really can't go wrong with fettuccini. We also tried the espresso flights. THE PLACE: Located in a Miramar shopping mall, parking is plenty and free. The theme/decor & menu change every season, and on our visit, it was enchanted fairies. Inside, the ceiling and walls were covered in charming vines, fairy lights, fairy's and flowers. In the background, the sound of a magical forest - it was very immersive. The restaurant is cozy, and seemingly always packed, so reservations are recommended. High tables, tables, bar seating and outside tables are available. THE FOOD: On our visit, by recommendation, we tried the Boozy meatball sampler 3/5 meatballs in three different sauces (cranberry sauce was the best) , good but nothing mind-blowing and The emberstones, this came with a presentation of dry ice fog, making it very picturesque. The dish was simple but great in texture and flavor 4/5. For entrees, my husband had an item from their secret menu - the white lotus but with grilled chicken. Lemony creamy pasta was good, the chicken was fantastic as it was well seasoned and moist 4/5. For my order, I had to go with my third choice, as my first two options had already sold out (it was 3pm). I had the Pear Ricotta Paneli 3/5, thicky creamy and slightly sweet, but extremely underwhelming in taste and had the smallest portion - fitting of a small appetizer than a main dish. My mom (the birthday girl) got the simplest dish of them all, spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with meatballs 1/5. This dish came last, about 10-15 after ours, and in her first bite, the meatball was freezer cold in the center. The dish was taken back, "re-made" and returned about 20 mins later. Flavor was as expected, not enchanting. At the end, the team brought my mom an complimentary ice cream and sang her HBD. Ice cream surprisingly was 5/5. THE SERVICE: To be clear, everyone was extremely nice, but overall, the experience at the restaurant did not go well. I made a reservation, got there 30 mins before and understandably, they couldn't sit us until my reserved time. I returned 10mins before my rsvp to make sure I dont miss my table. Two mins after my rsvp passed, they resulted to sitting us at the bar, since the table was still occupied. While I appreciate them trying to accommodate and respect the rsvp, sitting my 70 year old mom, on a high top bar chair was difficult, and uncomfortable for all of us. We were promised the table to be emptied soon, but we spent 40mins at the bar. If the rsvp for each table is of 2 hours, why isn't this upheld? When we finally sat at the table, ordering & the food coming took time, too much for the simplicity of the food itself, not to mention the incident with my moms food. We invited close friends on a Wednesday night to try a new interesting place we haven't been. Rosalia's Kitchen is definitely a place to visit for a different and fun dining experience. I highly recommend reservations, especially for parties of 4 or more, as the place is small inside. We didn't have reservations and had a 20 minute wait, but it was a weeknight. Weekends are very busy, we were told, and they now have a two hour dining time limit every day of the week. The inside was impressively decorated with a Halloween theme! This has to be the most detailed Halloween decorated restaurant we have ever seen. The creativity behind the decor was brilliant. We were told that the decor changes with the seasons and that they will changeover for Christmas in November. Now let's discuss the cocktails! I was shocked to learn that their cocktails are wine based, not spirit based, as the menu is misleading. The descriptions state gin, tequila, whiskey, and vodka in the cocktail description. I asked the server what whiskey is used for the old fashioned and was then informed that the drinks are wine based. This later led into a deep dive into wine based cocktails where I learned of a sub segment of the wine industry where wine makers use a proprietary process to manipulate wine into tasting like spirits and upping the alcohol content to about 24% abv. That said, the cocktails were very creative and impressive looking, but a bit too sweet for our liking. I did get a slight buzz from the two I had, so be warned. The food! I ordered the squid ink pasta (linguine) with marinara sauce and the seafood mixture (shrimp & calamari). The dish was very tasty with large plump shrimp (minus the tails) and plenty of sautéd calamari. The only critique I had, and I'm splitting hairs, is that the marinara sauce was a tad too thick in texture. I would definitely order this again however. My wife had their White Lotus special which consisted of their creamy lemony cheese sauce with gnocchi poured over their giant crispy chicken schnitzel. OMG was it good! The portion was so large she could only eat half and I had the leftovers for a workday lunch. Large portions are always appreciated, which we did! Our server was Daphne who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and their offerings. She made sure we were satisfied and explained that many of their dishes are made to order. The food runners were just as friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to going back to try other items on their extensive menu. And be sure to visit the bathroom before Halloween runs out. The bathrooms too are spookily decorated and you might make a little friend who is creepily chatty! This is really a 4.25 out of 5! read more
