The decor and the music and customer service here was amazing. We suspected that it would be busy but it wasn't at the time we went. The pasta however was a bit on the salty side, it may have been the cheese. The chicken piccata was good but I have had better piccatas. The tiramisu was a bit dry I wish it was soaked with more coffee. Overall great experience and we will be back to try other dishes.

Heard the Fort Lauderdale Cucina Moderna was really delicious so was happy to hear there was one in Mirimar. The decor was clean and modern with upbeat music playing. Very cool wall decorations as well. Started with complimentary focaccia which was delicious. Shared the calamari which was very tender and had 2 dipping sauces. Then shared the capri pizza with balsamic, arugula, prosciutto and fig -- very delicious. Unfortunately we were full but wanted to try more dishes! Peter was an excellent server as well.

Gelato was just what we needed after a long day. The server was attentive and allowed us to try several samples before we made our selection. Little hidden gem within the restaurant that I will 100% be coming back to enjoy.

You can't beat the lunch specials during the week for $10. My wife had the Mussels Pomodoro lunch special and I had the Chicken Parmigiana over spaghetti. Both were very good and nice portion. Our waiter, Jorge D, was excellent. The ambiance itself is worth going to see. Very elegant, neutral bright and soft colors. Long bar once you come in that also has an outside, open view with counter space to sit at. We also had 2 Stella Artois in very nice glasses that were also reduced $1. Almost forgot the homemade bread with side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Highly recommend dropping in if you are in the area. Very nice find!

Cucina Moderna has the best mixologists in South Florida. Come get to know them. These are our favorites: Stephanie, Carlos, and Juan. They are personable, attentive, and welcoming.

THE PLACE: Located in a Miramar shopping center, parking is easy to find and is free. Inside the restaurant it's beautifully decorated, modern and offers both booths and table tables. THE FOOD: on our visit we ordered the appetizer. It was a generous portion of thinly sliced focaccia bread (?) and tomatoes. 4/5. We also ordered the cupcake Moscato, which was an absolutely incredible 5/5, and an old-fashioned, but we didnt like the bourbon used, and ultimately returned the drink. For entrées, my husband had the chicken Parm, and while the dish was a good portion, and delicious, they overdue the tomato sauce. The dish that comes with the chicken has a TON of sauce, and then they bring you the pasta on the side, which is also drenched in tomato sauce. The amount of sauce in this dish is overwhelming and overshadows how good the actual chicken is. It's interesting, that the table next to us ordered the same chicken Parm and they decided to not eat the dish because they were overwhelmed with the sauce. I believe that they should either lower the amount of sauce in the dish, or to bring the pasta on the side without any sauce to balance it out 3/5. Hi how did the veal in marsala sauce, but I asked that they switch out the roasted potatoes for pasta. And while it doesn't look very pretty, it was outstanding! 4/5. THE SERVICE: Our server & the team well fantastic! Great service and worked well as a team. As a sidenote, I noticed that if you ask for some bread, they will bring it to you at no additional cost. This was based on observation with other tables, yet my server did not mention or offer this.

I had a business lunch at Cucina Moderna in Miramar, and it was fantastic. Jorge was our server and he was excellent. We started with the calamari, which was very good. Their lunch special is truly unbeatable. I ordered the Avocado Chop Salad and the Chicken Parmigiana -- both for just $10 each! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This combo has become my go-to. My colleagues ordered the Penne alla Vodka with chicken, the Cheese Ravioli, and the Ribeye (which was on special), and everyone said their meals were excellent. I love this spot -- it's close to my office, the food is consistently great, and the value is amazing. Highly recommend for lunch or any casual meal!

Great large dining area and perfect for a large family gathering. The service was top notch and they catered to all of our different needs. the food was delicious and came out hot and pretty fast. my favorite was the Veal Parm that my husband ordered it was cooked to perfection. the live music in the background made me feel all happy inside as I ate my delicious food with a smile

Cucina Moderna is a really good spot. That's fairly new in Miramar. It's located right next to Flanigans and it's a very large inside which I was not expecting. They have a large bar as well as a ton of different table options. What I love the most was they have an amazing lunch special menu. They have 10 options for $10 but you must purchase a drink. They also come with bread service to the table, which is really delicious as it comes with a nice oil and a fresh loaf of bread. I ordered the chicken Parmesan lunch special and it was very large. The chicken Parm was very flavorful and I thought it was a perfect portion size. The linguine it came with was also very good. I would definitely come back and try other things on the menu as I thought the food was fresh, They had a ton of customers, and I thought they were very friendly waitstaff. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for Italian food in Miramar.

Just had a very nice dinner at Cucina Moderna. It is located in a center off of Red Road and Miramar Parkway. The parking was very simple to access. We were seated quickly as we arrived early for dinner. We arrived while their sunset menu was available, which was very nice. It offered a salad, entrée and gelato for dessert. I had the Caesar salad, eggplant parmesan with ziti and the tiramisu gelato. The food service was very quick and efficient. I found the gelato absolutely delicious.

This place has not too many tables so it's best to call if you're really set on going a certain time and day. The inside is cutely decorated. They provided some garlic bread for free. The bread was light and good and the garlic flavor was very mild (which I prefer!) We also got the meatballs as an appetizer which were very good as well. We got the eggplant parm, lasagna, vodka pasta, and the cannelloni. The lasagna was GREAT. The pastas all had a good flavor and portion as well. Inside while we were eating, lots of people came in for takeout or to dine in and it seemed like the employees knew everyone. I thought it was nice that they value their returning customers so much. I will definitely be back here again the next time I'm wanting Italian.

My girlfriend's penne with vodka sauce was so good she barely looked up from her plate, and my other friends loved the ravioli with the butter‑sage sauce and the spaghetti bolognese. The portions were a good size, and we took home leftovers. The desserts were also to die for. I had a hazelnut cake that was light and delicious, and my girlfriends had the tiramisu. Nothing was left. Plates were cleaned! Overall, it's the kind of place you're so so happy to have nearby in Pembroke Pines. Great food, warm atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares. I'll definitely be going back.

They brought three, what they call focaccia, but are actually Pizza. Do you think three small pizzas can feed 35 people? Then they brought four salads, which are individual sizes, maybe enough for two people. We didn't get any, there wasn't enough. The calamari was definitely from a frozen bag. If I'm wrong, then they need a new chef. It was cheap and fishy. And we had to order an extra one of those too because they brought two for a table of 35. It took a long time to receive sodas or coffees. Three of us had wine, it came immediately. Thank God. Lunch was a choice of three dishes, and it took about an hour from ordering them to receiving them. The rigatoni with meatballs: I'm almost speechless over the horrifically disgusting, rubbery, loaded with filler, mealy consistency of the meatballs. They were embarrassing. The gnocchi were mushy, over boiled. I think they should sauté them instead of boiling them. Just my opinion. I think the chicken Parm was decent, didn't see people complaining about it. But I didn't have it. Dessert and coffee, then took another interminably long period of time. And the reason I mention this is because there was a party coming in after us. And they couldn't get in, they all had to wait outside in the heat, and all because the service was beyond, ridiculously slow. So I felt badly for them. I do have to say, however, on a good note that the servers were very pleasant, all of them. Which was much appreciated in the midst of the general debacle that this memorial lunch was. In retrospect, It is possible that not enough food was ordered by the host, however, the restaurant in knowing that they were serving 35 people should have informed my mother-in-law that what she ordered wasn't enough food.

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. The senior management at Sicilian Oven definitely keeps tabs on their stores and ensures that the stores are living up to their expectations. This one is no different. The food was spot on! The garlic rosemary bread is to die for. We've often thought of just getting a couple of those and a plate of pasta to share. However, today we had a small Sicilian salad (with gorgonzola added on) to go with the bread. Chef's kiss! We then spent quite some time, while we drank our wine, discussing what to have. Sometimes we opt for the fire roasted shrimp Palermo, or the cervellata with onions and peppers, or the wings, etc. Today, we did our go-to pizza; cervellata, mushrooms, grilled onions, double garlic and double basil. It hits all the taste points, and these guys make those flavors work exceptionally well together. Once that first bite (with the perfect fold) hits those taste buds (mine I throw some red pepper flakes on to give it an extra kick), it makes you dance in your chair. Did we take half of it home? Yes!!! Was the rest just as good the next day? Oh absolutely!!!!! Now, if I could just convince them to make that pizza on top of the garlic rosemary bread. Mangia!!!
