John The Baker has the best Garlic Bread ! Smothered in garlic and butter and so soft melts in your mouth. The place is quite busy and there was only one waitress Alice. She told us today was her first time working by herself. She did fantastic and was very friendly and upbeat. We heard she also works a second job. Kudos to her for having such a great attitude and work ethic. We all ordered pepperoni personal pan pizza. Came out fast and hot. Thin crust perfect. They don't serve pizza by the slice but their personal pizza was perfect size. Their menu consist of all the classic italian dishes and their Baked Ziti seems to be a popular one. I'll try next time.

A tribute to honest craft and true hospitality. You just don't describe food--you honor a person, a place, and the tradition behind them. You can taste the lessons from Italy--simple ingredients, patient dough, village ovens--in every bite. Start with the must-have: the garlic bread rolls--pillowy, deeply garlicky, perfectly brushed. Then go straight to the house specialty, the "John the Baker" pizza: sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Add anchovies upon request for a bright, briny lift. Delicious is truly an understatement. A must-have. Warm, home‑feel ambiance--perfect for get‑togethers, small or large. A truly wonderful place to always come to again and again. Being my first time..its warming reception made it a chance to book my flight to Italy indeed! So grab your passport and head over for the realistic food of Italy you'll mouth watering flavors will always remember..

I had food from here back I. High school like 20 years ago but we had not come back and man o man this place is just the perfect pizza place. The garlic rolls are huge and juicy and the pizza is full of flavor. Love that the portions are good and that we have left overs. The service is great from the door attending us quickly to the waiter being the most nicest and energetic. She refilled our drinks constantly and cleared things off the table with ease. I liked how she started a conversation with my son about monster jam how he was wearing a shirt. Glad we picked this place for lunch. I don't know if I have room for dessert but yeah thanks to the @CubanCulinaryJourney for reviewing this place and this place just being amazing. They play music and they clean up quick after each group to have a quick turn around. That's awesome.

I redownloaded yelp just to give this place 5 stars. Food was marvelous and prices were great. Would 100% come back here again. Every part of this experience went way more than well.

I was in the mood for pasta and hadn't had in a while. I ordered for take out. Chicken parm with pasta as a side. It was good. I would have preferred more garlicky spice but it did the job. I was surprised that it was $19 and some change. It came with 3 garlic rolls. I will probably make it on my own next time.

I love John The Baker. I first came here due to an intense pizza craving and needed a place nearby to satisfy that craving stat! Uber Eats led me the John the Baker and baby let me tell you John and I have been besties ever since. I usually order to go but today was my first time dining in, so I can finally speak on the service. Service is also great! But let me tell you what really keeps me coming back...the rollsssssssss. The garlic rolls are hands down thee best I've ever had anywhere including NYC. Buttery, pillowy, soft, garlicky perfection. What I love most about them is they do not put chopped garlic on the rolls like many places do. They use a housemade garlic oil. So the bread is still intensely garlic tasting but not offensively so. Ladies this means you can still kiss your man even after eating a half dozen by yourself (don't ask me how I know, mind ya business). The pizza is also good. I don't love the pizza nearly as much as the rolls but it's still good pizza. And it's reasonably priced! I haven't yet tried their non-pizza dishes but I def have my eye on the baked ziti. I will be trying that on my next visit.

I've been coming here for years & the quality of their food has never changed. Whether it's a delicious pasta dish, a good ol' chicken parm sub or some mouth watering pizza, you can't go wrong. The ingredients they use are super fresh & if you're dining in or taking out the food is usually prepared within a reasonable time. They run a special on Tuesday's where you can get a large 16" for only $12.99. Considering prices have gone up everywhere, I really think it's reasonable for the quality you get. You won't find a better pie in the area. Service is always good. The employees are friendly & do a good job at managing the crowds. I haven't had many issues with the food, but the few times there were mishaps they've always done a great job at making sure I was satisfied in the end. Good customer service goes a long way & that's another reason why I'll keep coming back. If you have a delicious entrée you might as well end it with some dessert & I highly recommend the cannolis; they're some of the best I've ever had. The sweet ricotta that they're filled with is out of this world. The shells are always the perfect texture which really complete them. Be sure to grab 1... or 5. Life's too short to skip out on dessert!

If you're on the hunt for a place that feels like a comforting hug and dishes out flavor. John the Baker is our go-to for reliable, delicious Italian eats with a side of family warmth. Each dish tastes homemade. Dine-in, takeout, or delivery - they're all about making life easier, and tastier. Don't miss out on their Pasta e Fagioli soup - it's a delicious must-try! And, oh, the garlic rolls are absolutely yummy. On a recent visit, our Chicken Parm sub had a slight burn, but guess what? It was still bursting with flavor! A small glitch won't keep us from returning. John the Baker truly nails the blend of reliability and flavor. Highly recommended!

This place has not too many tables so it's best to call if you're really set on going a certain time and day. The inside is cutely decorated. They provided some garlic bread for free. The bread was light and good and the garlic flavor was very mild (which I prefer!) We also got the meatballs as an appetizer which were very good as well. We got the eggplant parm, lasagna, vodka pasta, and the cannelloni. The lasagna was GREAT. The pastas all had a good flavor and portion as well. Inside while we were eating, lots of people came in for takeout or to dine in and it seemed like the employees knew everyone. I thought it was nice that they value their returning customers so much. I will definitely be back here again the next time I'm wanting Italian.

I ordered the chicken Parm sandwich, and it was fantastic--crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The homemade potato chips were a great surprise too. My girlfriend's penne with vodka sauce was so good she barely looked up from her plate, and my other friends loved the ravioli with the butter‑sage sauce and the spaghetti bolognese. The portions were a good size, and we took home leftovers. The desserts were also to die for. I had a hazelnut cake that was light and delicious, and my girlfriends had the tiramisu. Nothing was left. Plates were cleaned! Overall, it's the kind of place you're so so happy to have nearby in Pembroke Pines. Great food, warm atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares. I'll definitely be going back.

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! It's not visible from the street so I'd suggest using your GPS there first time you go there unless you're familiar with the area.

You can see the specials that they are offering. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered a basket of garlic rolls and let me tell you it was delicious. The right amount of garlic, nice and warm, and melts in your mouth. We loved it so much we asked for another basket. (No extra cost for refill). Alongside we ordered their house salad which was nice and refreshing. The main star of the night was the Chicken Parm. Will probably ordered again next time from how much we all enjoyed it. The dessert deserves its own paragraph. We wanted to try the "Pistachio Affogato" which is a scoop of creamy pistachio gelato and then a hot, bold espresso that is poured onto the gelato. It definitely offered a rice blend of warm and cold temperatures with nutty, sweet, and bitter flavors. I was in heaven to say the least. You must try it if you are pistachio or espresso lover.
