On the drive back to Miami from Orlando my family and I decided to stop here for lunch. We were in a hurry and called in our order ahead of time so as to not have to wait there for it there, even though we wanted to dine in. We ordered 1 cheese, 1 pepperoni, and 1 Sicilian. We had ordered extra to have leftovers. When we arrived the pizzas were ready and we asked if it was ok if we sat there to eat. Unfortunately, we were made to feel a little uncomfortable about it. The girl at the register was hesitant and said she needed to ask the manager. He gave a bit of a "look" but said it was ok, since it wasn't busy, but that if it was busy it might be an issue. It def wasn't busy at that time, and all tables were open and available; otherwise I wouldn't have asked. The waitress seemed a bit put off, too, and my family and I just felt rather uneasy as we sat and ate- like we were unwelcome and annoying them. We tried to eat quickly and made sure to leave a couple of dollars on the table for the waitress, since she would have to clear the table. So that part was weird... As for the pizza, I liked it but my family wasn't as wowed by it. We all agreed that it lacked flavor and needed a lot of dressing up with hot pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, oregano- basically anything we could find on the table. It was nice and thin, and did have a good cheese to sauce to crust ratio, as well. The Sicilian didn't do much for me, but at this point I think I might be the problem, as I haven't ever really been wowed by a Sicilian pizza. It tasted better heated up, in my opinion. Reheating it later on gave it a nice, crisp out crust that made it tastier for me. Prices were reasonable and parking is available, though the parking lot was pretty full when we went. Antonio's offers about 4-5 tables for dine in, with waitress service, but it is a small venue so I'd prob get my food to go. If I lived in this area I would consider ordering from here again and would be curious to try some of their pasta dishes and garlic rolls, but I would get take out. read more

Delicious pizza on the go for the most part. This spot has been a local fave for more than 10 years. Before trying them A few months ago I've heard about them many, many times. The time to wait is average about 15-20 minutes for a nice hot, fresh delicious smelling pizza. The place is located in a strip mall shared with a major supermarket so there's ample parking at all times. On a Friday afternoon the restaurant was surprisingly full with patrons dining in. I stopped in and service was prompt and I didn't have to wait too long. I don't think there are too many ways to describe a pepperoni and cheese pizza lol but it's a great buy. We sat a kind lady asked if we wanted any drinks we got waters and a large pepperoni pizza. Pizza dough was cooked to perfection, soft, airy & perfect. Inside was nice felt very homelike. Got a half deluxe pie to go. I was told 20 minutes. It was extremely busy in the shop. Many people making pizza. One at the register. I waited in line to pick up my order. Eventually a second person came to work the second register. They go by order numbers, never asked a name. Good thing I paid attention for once when I placed my order. Very reasonable price. Pie was very good when hot. Leftovers reheated were not as good: very floppy and cheese kinda weird. The worst part of the experience was honestly the location. I called Antonio's Pizza at 9:20 p.m. to place an order. The person who answered the phone said "hold on" very quickly and then left me on hold without any further communication. I tried calling multiple times, and each time the same thing happened -- a quick "hold on" and then silence. Frustrated, I decided to drive to the restaurant myself. Keep in mind, they close at 10 p.m. I arrived at exactly 9:30 p.m., and I was still on hold from the phone call I placed earlier. As I pulled up, they finally hung up the call. When I got to the counter, I was told they could not make a pizza because they were "about to close" and only had slices left. Again, it was only 9:30 p.m. and they don't close until 10 p.m. If they aren't going to take full orders after a certain time, they should clearly communicate that instead of keeping customers on hold for 15 minutes and then turning them away at the counter. If you're planning to order pizza before 9:30, don't waste your time. The lack of communication and disregard for customer service was extremely disappointing. Authentically Italian, a hidden gem in a strip mall next to Publix. It's a pretty small place with a few tables inside. We dined in but they had a nonstop line for pickup orders. It was hard to decide but we settled on pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. We also got a side salad and garlic rolls with the spaghetti, which I didn't realize came with it. No matter the taste of the food which is not awesome but great, the service sucks! The ambiance is unpredictable, especially when the bottom of the chairs are on the top of the tables. Best pizza I've ever had! Pizza is authentic, garlic rolls are absolutely delicious, the service is great. It's a very small place, about 5 tables but I luckily have seating every time when I dine in. The to-go line is always busy, which should say a lot.
