Grill cheese
Man Wai W.

We arrived on a Saturday and we did about 45 minutes for a table for the four of us. Service was excellent from the greeter to the waiter. We ordered the grilled cheese sandwich for my youngest son. And my oldest had the French toast. I ordered the ham and cheese quiche but they were already out by 11 AM so I settled for the veggie quiche. My husband had the egg sandwich. Everything was excellent and tasted great. My veggie quiche was made with a croissant crust. My only complaint was that the croissant crust was less crispy than the traditional crust which I prefer. All four items arranged from $15 to 25. It was a bit on the expensive side for the type of food that we had however, the atmosphere and the quality of the food makes it worth it for special occasions.

In one word: WOW! - This little restaurant has all you need for a delicious brunch, their menu has variety of flavors, options of cuisine (Mediterranean, American, Italian), on the drinks the coffee was perfectly done and flavorful (they also offer diff flavors and milks to choose for your coffee pls some specialty seasonal options)... The staff also is super nice, helpful and friendly so we had a great time. I enjoyed that is not a huge restaurant but the organization and the decor makes it authentic and just a great vibe that you want to stay and keep eating and trying more things! A super plus is that they also have their bakery next door, so all the breads and pastries are fresh and artisanal. Can't wait to come back and try their dinner menu as well :)

LB Eatery Wine is a small quaint Italian restaurant that makes you feel you're back in Europe. The menu is perfect, clear, and not overwhelming at all. You have the Bread Experience which let me tell you is a favorable, cozy experience full of beautiful sweet, savory, butter flavors with the best breads you can have. We had the Four Cheese, Speck and Truffle Oil Pizza, Papardella Pasta is a Slow Cooked Sausage Ragú. This pasta is fresh, it's a perfect texture, not full of sauce which to me takes me right to Italy. The pizza.. just WOW! The cheese was a perfect pull, the speck which I learned is prossutto had a smoky taste, and the truffle oil pulled it all together.

Simple quiche with 2 poached eggs

Tried the new LB Eatery side of Lady Baker and it was a good experience! We went there for brunch today (Wednesday). Well they do serve the same products from the bakery as well as their short brunch menu. We had read reviews about their Reuben sandwich so that was one of the things we got... and for me, I did not want the "usual" eggs or scrambled eggs in tomato sauce, they seem to have many egg dishes with a Turkish influence/style, so I opted for a quiche that also comes with an additional side of poached eggs. We had already had our morning coffee earlier so just had water for drinks this time, and at the end, we opted for a Tiramisu Croissant (we were told it was a seasonal specialty! ) So the place is really pretty. I enjoyed the calming decor. There were maybe 4 tables occupied so it was not a busy time (Wednesday brunch) and our server was very sweet and explained everything carefully. However, I felt that our orders took a long time to prepare- all things considered, and when they arrived they were just barely warm... my quiche and poached eggs were cold within minutes, and I tried some of the Reuben and - well I would have liked it warmer. Both dishes were very good taste wise. The looks of the sandwich were great! It was a pleasure to receive. My quiche had good taste and it was a nice serving... but the plating was not fulfilling- idk. I felt that there was opportunity for creative improvement there. The quiche with the 2 tiny perfectly poached eggs there... it looked oddly incomplete. Perhaps a small salad would add color and variety to the plate? ‍ In any event, the taste was delicious, and we Both enjoyed our choices very much. The croissant was also very good, the combination of a plain croissant with the tiramisu cream added enough sweetness for me. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely continue to buy all kinds of bakery goods at the Lady Baker! We might return to try the more varied dinner menu next time!

We had high expectations for this restaurant. Paula and her team are just killing it with Lady Baker, which is our favorite food business in south Florida. But we were disappointed. Maybe our expectations were too high? We liked the little introduction explaining the the menu is centered around their sourdough, with every dish having some in it. Which is a nice touch and a great idea. Disclaimer that I have a garlic allergy so most items on the list weren't available to me. Perhaps that prevented me from getting the best items on the menu. For starter we had the beet carpaccio, it was beautiful done, tasted fine, but too simplistic in term of flavor. Just boring. Also not sure where the sourdough was in this dish, but that's a minor detail. For main dish, my partner had the Fettuccine which she liked. I could only have pizza because of my allergy, so I had the Mortadella Pizza. The dough was excellent, the topping were good but ultimately nothing exciting for either of us. Desert might have been the most disappointing. With such great baking talent, we believed they got to do something amazing. The selection was really disappointing: chocolate mouse, apple pudding and riz au lait. What in the world? We were offered the riz au lait, which tasted fine, but really not something you want after eating pizza and pasta. We were filled already with carbs! Service can be improved. First, when I was told I could not have the choices I made for starter and main dish because of my allergy, the waiter directed me to pizzas. I was not interested in pizzas so I confirmed that the rest of the menu had garlic. He said yes. So I would just have gone with a pizza and no starter. Until my partner found this odd and asked where was the garlic in the burrata starter. Turns out I could have many of the starters and it was a miscommunication from the waiter. Then, there was an issue with the oven. So by the time my partner was done eating her main dish, I still didn't have my pizza. The waiter apologized multiple times, but still not a good experience. Also the waiter was apologizing looking at my partner when I was the one waiting. A bit odd. They did offer the desert on the house, so that was a nice gesture. In general everyone was super nice and doing their best, but I feel our waiter wasn't the best, maybe stressed or junior ‍ The highlight of the evening for me was the wine. I did not know any of the wine on the menu, so I decided to go with something that works all the time: a sparkling wine. I saw a "red sparkling" and thought they meant "pink sparkling". When the sommelier (or whoever that was) came to serve us, I realized it was actually a red wine. I never had red sparkling, and boy it was fabulous. Everything about it was new to me and I had a blast drinking it. Well done on picking that wine! Wine is in the restaurant slogan so I was expecting a nice wine curation. I feel the experience can be improved. I knew none of the wines on the menu, despite knowing quite a bit about wine, as they are probably coming from small wineries. If there is a sommelier, or someone in charge of drinks (looked like there was someone) how about the waiter offers that they come to help with wine selection? Or maybe share a little description on the wine list? Most restaurants in South Florida carry bad wine, so I almost did not bother ordering. But this red was mind blowing, I ordered it by mistake, I am wondering if the rest of the wine list is as good, but how can I tell? Price-wise I feel everything was reasonably priced and the restaurant design is nice. I still give 5 stars because I want to support Paula and her team, help them keep the business open and I hope my long comment is useful feedback. I am confident they can improve. Let's go team :) we want to see you do even better!

Reuben is RIDONKULOUS!!! Everything was just as good as anticipated when the owner of your favorite bakery opens a restaurant!

Lady Baker is hands down one of my favorite bakeries in town so when they announced LB Eatery & Wine coming soon, you know I was gonna be there!!! They built the new LB Eatery directly next door to Lady Baker and opened up the space and wall so you can come and go between both spaces. Super convenient. FINALLY got to stop into LB Eatery & Wine with my girl Shula R. We have been talking about this place since the signs went up that they were coming soon. They had a few delays on the opening date but it was worth the wait. Their grand opening was in June 2025. But summer happens so we haven't been able to get over here until now. The owner, Paula Marsola and her team did an AMAZING job with the design & concept of LB Eatery & Wine. I love the modern simplicity, even down to the smallest details such as the delicate floral centerpieces on the table to the beautiful utensils to the gorgeous tableware. They thought of every little detail and it shows. Even the cool and simple menus with the leather binding clip. I always notice details. We arrived for brunch on a Wednesday around 11am and they were already busy. They open at 10am. There were two lovely hostesses who helped seat us and they were so nice. Michael was our very charming server. He says he usually bartends at night but also serves during brunch too. He was knowledgeable of the menu, friendly and charismatic. We also met Madison, another LB server who was so cute. She stopped by our table as she heard us talking books and mentioned an author she likes so we were having a whole convo with her about BOOKS!!! Love how books connect people, random people at that too. Magical. I really wanted a brunch item and was eyeing the Shakshuka but also considered the Reuben Sandwich. We asked about the Pasta of the Day at the bottom of the menu which was a fettuccine Alfredo with zucchini and pistachio. Michael helped me finalize my decision as he said Reuben is only available during brunch. Shula ordered the Quiche Lorraine with poached eggs. I also got the Vanilla Lavender Latte which is my go to when I'm at Lady Baker. Reuben Sandwich: Apple Kraut, Wagyu Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Mayo Mustard, on Sourdough Bread $22 Quiche Lorraine: Croissant Tart, Egg Custard, Seasonal Toppings, Mayo Hollandaise, Poached Eggs $16 My coffee was on point, usually is. When our meals came out, they were too pretty to eat. Shula's Quiche was so pretty and my Reuben looked like a work of art on my plate. I loved the Reuben presentation with the dripping cheese and freshly shredded cheese on the plate. Even better, took my first bite and it was HEAVENLY! You could taste the freshness of the pastrami and each bite was full of flavor and drenched in pastrami goodness. The sourdough bread was so crispy. DANNNNNNG! I would totally get this again. I love a good Reuben Sandwich! I cannot say enough good things about this place, the food, coffee, ambiance and service. Everything was wonderful and I cannot wait to come back. Dying to try their pasta dishes during dinner. Will bring hubby for date night or the whole family! Check out LB Eatery & Wine if you haven't already. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I came here with my English group. The service was so sweet and gracious. Nothing was too much trouble. The decor was pleasant. The food was pleasant. I tried a latte with some vanilla lavender added to it, which I recommend. I also decided to try something I would never normally order. I tried their Turkish eggs. The quality of the eggs, and Greek yoghurt were evident. BUT... I would not order this again as it was not my fever. I did not like the egg yolks running into the yoghurt (it kind put my off, with the consistency!) My choice of order was on me and nothing bad on the establishment. All the other food that my friends tried looked awesome. They all were happy as well. I will surely go again but will choose more wisely for my own normal likes!! To be noted - if you want to go and want to sit in the LB eatery side rather than lady baker next door, do call beforehand. Their website opening days and hours that were listed were not correct. We went on a day that it was supposedly not open. I did tell a female member of staff to let her manager know so they will not loose business.

Best Birthday Dinner Ever! Yesterday was my 75th birthday, and I invited a few friends to join me in celebrating at my favorite restaurant, LB Eatery & Wine. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms as always. We were seated at a beautiful table and treated like royalty from start to finish. To start the evening, we ordered a bread flight, and what a way to begin the night. It came with three amazing butters -- a salt and pepper butter, a coconut butter, and another butter blended with cheese. Every one of them was fantastic and perfect for sharing around the table. We also ordered the pumpkin and yogurt appetizer along with the roasted beet salad, and both were absolutely wonderful. The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. For our main courses, two of us ordered the zucchini pesto fettuccine topped with sourdough bread crumbs and pistachios, which was absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and a perfect combination of textures. Another guest ordered the pappardelle pasta with sausage ragu, which was rich, hearty and full of flavor. One of our friends enjoyed the fettuccine with mushrooms, a beautifully simple dish that really let the earthy mushroom flavor shine. The final entrée at the table was the chicken Milanese, which looked absolutely amazing -- perfectly crisp and beautifully presented. The staff was incredible and truly helped make the evening special. They celebrated right along with us and made the entire table feel welcomed and appreciated. The owner Paula, whom I absolutely adore, stopped by and treated us to a wonderful white wine from Greece. I wish I could remember the name because it was fantastic. And to my surprise, the staff even paid for our desserts, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. And speaking of dessert -- oh my! The chocolate mousse cake and the Quatro Leches cake were absolutely outstanding and everyone at the table adored them. What can I say? LB Eatery & Wine has yet to disappoint. Celebrating a milestone birthday with friends is something I will always treasure, and the team at LB Eatery & Wine made the evening unforgettable. If you are looking for incredible food, wonderful wine, and a warm welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend LB Eatery & Wine. It truly is a gem and without question one of my favorite restaurants. And remember -- always be kind to your wait staff. They work incredibly hard and they help make nights like this so special.

It's great to see some real brunch spots beginning to pop up in Shops of Pembroke Gardens. This place is SO cute! My friend and I checked their website the day before to see if we could make a reservation but it didn't seem there were any times available. We decided to wing it and see what the wait would be like at 11:45 am on a Sunday and got very lucky with no wait, but a line was beginning to form. The service was great, as was the food. I ordered the Shakshuka and my friend ordered their French toast. The shakshuka was perfectly balanced - sometimes this dish can be spicy or smoky; this was neither. Rather perfect actually. Their sourdough bread is delicious and came highly recommended by our server (rightly so). My friend said the French toast was yummy as well. I definitely plan to come back here.

Avocado toast with bacon and poached eggs, topped with an arugula salad.

As you may or may not know, Lady Baker Coffee Shop and LB Wine & Eatery are my two absolute favorite places to enjoy a meal. And clearly I'm not alone -- due to their popularity, they've expanded their hours for breakfast and lunch, which makes this even better news for all of us. Updated hours: * Monday-Friday: Breakfast & Lunch 9:00am-2:00pm * LB Wine & Eatery Dinner: 5:30pm-10:00pm * Saturday Brunch: 10:00am-2:00pm * Sunday Brunch: 9:30am-3:00pm Today my husband and I went for breakfast, and once again the food was beyond. My husband ordered the challah French toast topped with blueberry compote, walnuts, and a fresh cream sauce -- the perfect portion for one person -- along with a side of absolutely delicious bacon. I had the avocado toast, which is anything but ordinary. They use their buttery croissants as the base, topped with creamy avocado, two of the most perfectly cooked poached eggs you will ever eat, and a light arugula salad. Naturally, I added bacon -- of course I did. For coffee, my husband enjoyed an Americano while I had my mocha latte with almond milk. (Yes, they make their own mocha... of course they do.) The portion was generous enough that I took half back to the hotel for another meal later. I will shout it from the rooftops if I have to: if you have not eaten at Lady Baker or LB Wine & Eatery, you are truly missing out. Reservations are suggested for dinner. The service is top-notch, the wine list is fantastic, and their wine steward is fabulous at pairing the perfect wine with any meal. Final word: This is one of those rare places that never disappoints -- exceptional food, exceptional service, every single time. If you know, you know... and if you don't, now you do.

Great restaurant and great addition to Pembroke Gardens! The ambiance was trendy and warm. Everything seemed to be really well thought out. It was hard to choose what to get since everything looked great. Our waiter was helpful with suggestions and so was the onsite sommelier. Everything we got was delicious and fresh. The stand outs were the pizza crust, the burrata with gooseberries, the homemade pasta, and the apple bread pudding. 10/10 experience, I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. :)

We had such an amazing experience here. We truly felt the personalized experience. They truly met the expectations of comfort food in a special way. The selection of wines is outstanding and unique. I truly enjoy tasting different wines and Facundo's suggestions. Out waitress Paulina was outstanding her suggestions were on point, her passion for the menu was clearly visible as she carefully described each item. The ambiance was relaxed, yet fun to have a nice family outing as we enjoyed. We are so happy for the opening of LB we look forward to trying new menu items and wine selection! Thank you for an outstanding evening.

Mocktails so creative here. Mine is called the "Dry Orchard."

LB Wine Eatery is sensational. What a great concept with fresh baked breads, coffees, and Baked Goods always at the ready. So love this cute bistro's Brunch menu where I tried a Greek a yogurt Parfait and Vegetable Sandwich for brunch. The yogurt topped with honey-granola and a generous amount of berry compote is exquisite. A sommelier was making the espresso drinks that holiday (Indigenous People's Day) brunch. The sandwiches here are tall and form a tower with three (3) slices of bread. So tall the sandwiches are they are held together with natural toothpicks! Veggies were eggplant-carrot-zucchini if I am not mistaken with shaved Parmesan topping off the sandwich. Pastry Chef Paula and her sommelier are helpful and can answer all your wine pairing questions. Service from Sebastian is always impeccable. Located in the Shops at Pembroke Gardens. Reservations can be made on Open Table.

My Husband surprised me by taking me to this restaurant for brunch this past weekend. As you can tell, the store is very pink from the pictures, but it's more pink than you expect when you actually get there which is super cute you know very picture cute place. My Husband and I did sit inside. It's a little small. It's not the type of place that you would bring 10 people or more. It's not gonna be able to see all of you guys together anyway they also have outdoor seating. Now going back to the 18% service charge I get it. You know everyone at this place works together. We had our original server, but there was also someone who was collecting dirty dishes and then there was someone else delivering drinks and making sure your water cup was filled. The service was definitely good. They worked for it so we definitely did add another tip on top of the 18%. I just want the people who aren't expecting a party under six to have this 18% charge to be aware. I wasn't that hungry so I just stuck to an appetizer I got a yucca bite with chorizo on top. The chorizo was a little overcooked for me, but the yucca and the cilantro sauce was delicious. My Husband got a burger and I believe it had croquettes inside of it. It was a cute touch and the burger was well seasoned and made to order. I also had the vanilla pink latte. Super cute and delicious. Definitely checking back this place again when my girlfriends come into town I think they'd like it. Definitely recommend if you're in the area of Pembroke Mall or you wanna have a cute quick brunch with your girls.

The lunch special was reasonably priced, service was attentive, and everything came out quickly. Just note that an automatic 18% gratuity is included. This place is very busy. And it was raining so no seats outside and everything was taken inside. I made my order. And I honestly thought it would be ready super fast since I only ordered pastries-which were already made and simple coffee. We asked if we could open the umbrellas so we can sit under them while it was sprinkling. But they said it's a safety hazard. We understood. Maybe they can get some sort of awning outside because there really is no room. It was busy and took so long that I was able to wait for someone to leave. We got the table right infront of the window display. It was FILTHY. And very unappetizing to see while waiting for our food that we were about to eat. If you are going to have a display, PLEASE keep it clean. And if you know you will be too busy to clean it, just throw it away. I wish I got a picture of the lamp hanging there but it was also heavily covered in dust. I am curious what else they aren't cleaning. On to the food: Coffee: respectfully it was the most bitter coffee I've had from a pastry place. I would never order coffee here. I usually use half a sugar pack at other places. Here, I used the ENTIRE packet and it still didn't take away the bitterness. Not even a bite of my pastry helped. Such a shame. We waited a long time for coffee and it was poorly made. And expensive! I suppose "baker" is in their name, and one can't assume they're known for their coffee. Maritozzi: perfect! Soft. Pillowy. Not too sweet Cinnamon roll: soft. Pillowy. Not too sweet. Would have loved more cinnamon filling though. Croissant: buttery. Mix of soft and flaky Overall, the pastries were great. I wouldn't bother eating in. I don't know if I would make the drive all the way out here to visit again though.

Not a big fan of these. Since there were only two for the entire restaurant, cleaning periodically is recommended. Other than that, food was delicious!

There were no clean forks or knives available so we were given plastic utensils in a bag. We weren't given cloth napkins either. Maybe they were dirty too? No apology was offered. No clean forks were brought when available. Instead, the wait staff disappeared until it was time to bring the check. Then our waitress lingered at our table chatting us up while her tip was being written down. On to the food. The salmon on my eggs benedict was just awful. I struggled to cut through the english muffin with the one metal knife I did have. The pancakes were rubbery. My husband's food was cold. The lettuce was brown. It couldn't have been worse. This was my first and last time at one of these establishments.

It's a clean brightly lit, large space with lots of seating, making it a really nice spot to sit down for breakfast or lunch even an early dinner panini. The only thing to keep in mind is that it gets a bit loud inside, so it can be a little hard to hear if you are trying to talk. The food and drinks, though, are absolutely spectacular. I ordered the Croque Madame and it was delicious--incredibly creamy and filling- perfectly cooked. For pastries, I tried the dulce de leche croissant, which was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sweetness. My friend got the Dubai chocolate croissant and she really liked hers too. To drink, I tried the pistachio matcha latte. It was a completely new experience for me and it was delicious. They sell fresh baked bread, panini and have delivery too. I'm very happy to finally be able to get a great croissant two minutes from my house.

My vanilla latte was too sweet so I asked for more coffee. They were very accommodating and gave me an extra shot of espresso.

This place has great drinks! Crafted by great mixologists. I got the peachy lychee from the seasonal menu. Sweet but not too sweet. Hunger struck randomly so I decided to browse the menu. They had several apps I was interested in. Tip - the buns and empanadas comes with 3 per order. I decided to get the short rib and mash potatoes. The gravy that came with the mash was so good! I wish the dish would've had a different veggie. The broccoli was very small. There was a lot of potatoes. Wish it was a little more portioned but it was good.

Both had cilantro aioli but that did little make either of them tasty. While the short rib meat was tender, it was boring and flavorless. The Churassco was super fatty and chewy, if there was onion jam on the sliders, well I couldn't tell. The atmosphere is chill and the outdoor seating does have greenery that provides a bit of privacy for the patio seating, but I was underwhelmed. Service was nonexistent and food was bland.

No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.
