I have been to lady baker for a good 6-7 times. Sometimes its just to pick up some fresh yummy san francisco sourdough, that they bake fresh daily and slice it up as well. Which is TO DIE FOR. I love sourdough bread and i swear i can eat this bread alone by itself and CAREFUL. May or may not eat the whole loaf myself. The cappuccino and lattes are also very good. Ive only had hot drinks here but i di think soon i will be trying their iced latte. As for the deserts i trying this chocolate covered croissant that was so good. Theres so many yummy baked goods i have yet to try but trust me when i say soon i will. The the staff is so sweet and helping. Always with such a smile on their faces. Well... there's certainly things to get and not get here. I went in for the first time ever and tried their guava and cheese croissant and their matcha. The croissant was great!! Flaky and hard outside with a soft inside. Would get again. Their matcha might as well been a cup of milk with green food coloring. Literally awful and tasted like nothing. It was PACKED and stuffy in there but the staff were all working really fast and got the orders out quickly. There's also barely any seating in there so don't plan to eat inside. I went Mother's Day weekend so it was obviously very busy but the staff did a great job at managing customers and the line the best they could. The cashier was very nice and friendly and made recommendations for what we should try. We went with Tiramisu Lattes, Egg Danish, Key Lime Croissant, Banana Bread and the Turkey and Jam sandwich. All of these items tasted great and fresh. The quality of the pastries is worth the price point. Overall, I'd recommend this place and would definitely come back to visit. read more

The bakery provided an open view concept which added to the experience and eliminates any question of freshness non-transparency. Very cute place but with limited seating. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. I ordered iced matcha and a maritozzi. Loved the matcha but thought the maritozzi was just alright. The cream was tasty, but personally I didn't care much for the brioche bread. Had it been puff pastry with the same cream, I would have enjoyed it much more. I'm building my own coffee bar in my house and got so many good ideas from the coffee novelties on the shelves. The little cakes and cookies looked so fresh and I loved the big bakery kitchen behind the counter. They have a new wine bar inside with a good sounding lunch and dinner menu. Had a nice cup of coffee and just sat at a table and talked with the manager. Went today and order two desserts a double espresso and a americano. Got charged for three desserts and a second single espresso . There was some confusion with what bread pudding was ordered. Also a girl explained it can be corrected manager was summoned and He came punch some numbers on the POS and left without saying sorry or acknowledging me. Love this little bake shop in Pembroke Gardens! They are actually expanding to create a wine bar attached right next door. It is a small store front but there are umbrella seats outside - perfect for a cafe treat outside during great Florida weather. Walking in you're greeted with the case of wonderful fluffy pastries of all sorts! We asked the cashier between the Almond Croissant and the Bread Pudding Muffin which would she prefer. She was very kind to entertain me, and she ended up convincing me to order both instead of picking just one. And both did not disappoint. The dough of the Bread Pudding was still so moist inside, and crispy on the outside, with just the right amount of Nutella filling to complement the bread without making it overly sweet. We really appreciated that it wasn't a sugar infested bread budding. Perfect level of sweetness. And omg the Almond Croissant. The key to those is not so much the croissant but definitely the almond filling. And there was a really good amount of almond filling proportional to the dough and almond topping. There's no such thing as too much almond. I also got an iced Vanilla Lavender latte with regular milk and it was delicious! Need to go back for all the other pastries. read more

Lady Baker is a great addition to Pembroke gardens! With a small, intimate restaurant/ bar connected next door to the bakery, it has plenty to offer. There are around 3-4 tables with umbrellas outside and a few tables inside the cafe. There are so many delectable options on the bakery side along with coffee bar/ drink options. You order at desk and get a table number. On a late Friday morning, this place was packed with no tables available so that's the only downside. There are only about 6 tables but it wasn't long before someone left. I ordered the egg danish and cortado. The egg danish was crispy, flakey, and so flavorful! The cortado was also great! The servers were all so friendly as well. I would highly recommend stopping in- the restaurant looks super cute as well! read more

Lady Baker is hands down one of my favorite local bakeries in town. Their pastries are absolute PERFECTION!!! It's all about the layers and Lady Baker knows how it's done. They are consistent. They have a neon sign here that is so true, "You can't buy happiness, but you can buy bread and that's the same thing!" Because bread ya'll. Lol. they offer many different things here including pastries, bread, sandwiches, quiche, chocolate and of course coffee. They offer catering too where you can pre-order cakes, mini boxes of croissants or sandwiches and quiches. Keep this in mind for future parties and events. I'm a huge fan of their croissants, pain au Chocolat, Kouign-Amann, cruffins and coffee. I will also try any new pastries because pastries are life and the owner, Paula Marsalo has perfected her pastries. You know a bakery is good when they know how to perfect a plain croissant with all the beautiful layers inside. If you open a croissant and see honeycomb layers, you've hit the jackpot. A few different things we have tried here: * Vanilla Lavender Latte * Almond Croissant * Pistachio Croissant * Nutella Croissant * Pain Au Chocolat * Croissant * Prosciutto Sandwich * Nutella Cruffin * Dulce de Leche Cruffin The croissants here are so light and fluffy and it really is perfect with the golden crispy exterior and super soft and flaky interior. My kids love the cruffins but I feel like the fillings are usually way too sweet or there is too much of it. This is evident with the Nutella Cruffin and Dulce de Leche Cruffin. Those are a pass for me. I can't handle that much sweetness. The Vanilla Lavender Latte is my new favorite coffee drink here, so tasty and not overly sweet. The lavender was just a hint and not overpowering as you would think when you think of lavender in your latte. I've had lavender lattes before and I like them but I really like the vanilla addition. Adds that hint of sweetness. Bonus, I dipped my croissant in my latte. Oh em gee!!! Game changer. I always see it done on social media and of course wanted to do the same. So yummy! My favorite is the guava and cheese croissant. The croissant is rich, soft, and just the right amount of flaky. Honestly the food was very mi-tier. I'm not from the area so I'm not sure if this is just the standard around here since the reviews are so high. The first thing that was bad was the seating situation. There was not enough seating for the amount of people present. There were even two tables inside and outside that nobody was able to utilize because there were just no chairs. So by that matter the ambience sucked because everyone was like vultures waiting on people to leave. You couldn't even eat without people asking you if you were leaving or trying to take your chairs. The service was awful. You have to wait in a long line to order and once you do you find out that they don't even bring your food to your table. They give you your order on a plastic school cafeteria tray that is so thin you have to carry with both hands or your foods going to fall on the floor. For the food, they prepare it by using a small recreational oven that you would see at starbucks. Our bill was 70 dollars including tip, for reheated food. They have the sandwiches and croissants lying out in front of you and you're lucky if they even heat it up because 2/3 of my party's food was cold. So overall I would say this place is not good and overpriced, which is my honest take. The only good things were the drinks but for a "bakery" and 70 dollars the food should be good as well.
