Nice cake and tarts presentation. This is a cute little spot. I've been to a neighboring restaurant many time a before and saw this place but never thought to visit until I did a google search for "cake" yesterday. The guy was really nice at the counter when we came and gave me a rundown of everything in the display case. We got 2 slices of chocolate cake, a fruit tart, and a piece of cake with vanilla cake, walnuts and dulce. Everything looked good. Taste wise, the vanilla/walnut/dulce cake was okay, the bottom layer was a bit dry and not as moist as the other layers. The cake was not too sweet. Hubby said the chocolate was not too chocolately. I have yet to taste the fruit tart but it looks really tasty.

The bakery itself is situated in an old strip plaza and the big windows face the parking lot and a fast food drive thru. I will say the latte was good and the man behind the counter was very nice and welcoming. Price for a latter was much lower than most places. I ordered a latte just like the one I saw on their reel, but what I got was a plain white to go cup, napkin and plastic spoon. Coffee was good but there's lots of good coffee around. Ambiance not so great and not very clean either. Floors covered in coffee and crumbs and couches crumbs and stains. I don't think I'll be back.

We tried them when we got home. Delicious, fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. The owners were friendly. They have a wide variety of cakes. Definitely a must try.

Great new Artisanal Bakery-very reminiscent of a scaled down Pani in Aventura however with much better prices and excellent products and service. Very nice young man at counter, personable without being pushy and very happy and willing to explain everything in the display case. Wish them well and will definitely be back-nice cafe atmosphere inside perfect for a little coffee and dessert get together without having to trek too far South!! Delicious and very fresh pastries!!

My friend stopped by today to get a few things for the team. And I got to try this delicious chocolate cake. She said the place was very cute and the staff was super friendly and professional. I look forward to go in person and try other things.

First time visiting everything looked great in the display case we took the orange cake and a walnut brownie. Very disappointed both were dry and hard to eat the cake tasted old snd the brownie was tasteless and dry. The man running the place was nice. But we went for the baked goods.

We absolutely love Alpen Bakery! Not only is the coffeehouse adorable, the food is absolutely amazing! The cheese and spinach empanadas are what I call "little pillows of heaven"! I' went to Alpen Bakery to get a cheesecake for Father's Day. It was so rich and creamy delicious.. with blueberries baked into it! The whole family loved it. Since it was such a hit, I went back again to purchase birthday delights, tiramisu, fruit tarts, and meringue pie! Everything was so perfectly executed. Perfect textures and flavors... FIVE STARS FOR AMBIENCE, CONFECTIONS and SERVICE. We recently celebrated my dad's 75th birthday with a cake from Alpen bakery in Pembroke Pines. I found this bakery online and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. They are located in a tiny strip mall and there was a bit of construction going on next door. Inside, it was the perfect setting -- quaint, tastfully decorated, an elevated experience for the typical bakery scene. The ambiance feels French. I met Anja (the wife), then baker and pastry chef, Ruben. They are both very nice people, friendly and ccommodating. I could tell making beautiful confections is their passion. The best part? Their cakes are special and very reasonably priced, exquisitely decorated and not overly sweet. The icing was the best surprise... delicate, light and silky. I am not particularly fond of buttercream icing so the choice of icing was delightful. Thank you, Ruben. The cake was beautiful and delicious, and my dad LOVED it! I will be back for sure. read more

Amazing! First time at this bakery and I bought several things such as empanada chilena, Chilean bread and different types of pastry. Everything it's just delicious. Amazing customer service!!! I have to start with that because we know that is sometimes a problem in south Florida. The owner, Ruben, was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. We were able to sample some products. VERY TASTY. Another good thing I like to see is when bakeries run out of desserts. It may be a bummer because you miss out on trying something but it is a GOOD sign that indicates FRESHNESS. The interior is beautiful. Quality not only in the food items but the business as a whole. Definitely a place I want to come back to and sit to drink some coffee and enjoy delicious desserts. Please do yourself a favor and give this spot a try. It was an excellent service, I ordered two delicious cakes. Strawberry with chocolate was delicious, but the milojas were out of this world, they were so fresh and crunchy, not too sweet, it was the perfect flavor. The variety of flavors is amazing. My recommendation is 100%. read more

Wow wow wow! I had an amazing fresh prosciutto caprese ciabatta sandwich, a cafe latte, and a very yummy orange cake. I was full but I wanted to try more that I took more food to go! I took fruit tarts, cheese empanadas,and hallullas which are Chilean yummy bread. This place is beautiful and clean. Ruben was a very nice friendly guy. Excellent service!! Alpen Bakery opens its doors in February 2023 in the city of Pembroke Pines, bringing a tradition since 1940 located in our country of Chile. Alpen is a bakery that mixes flavors from Chile and Austria, the country of origin of the founders of this great Pastry shop started in South America. All our products are made by ourselves and the most important thing is that they are fresh and made with love.

They took the time to explain everything, making our visit even more enjoyable. We picked up Chilean empanadas, fresh bread, and cake, and everything was absolutely delicious. Didn't go in was going to go back and the owner ran to me in the parking lot with a box of Napoleons and wouldn't let me pay. They were Dulce de Leche.
