Nice cake and tarts presentation. This is a cute little spot. I've been to a neighboring restaurant many time a before and saw this place but never thought to visit until I did a google search for "cake" yesterday. The guy was really nice at the counter when we came and gave me a rundown of everything in the display case. We got 2 slices of chocolate cake, a fruit tart, and a piece of cake with vanilla cake, walnuts and dulce. Everything looked good. Taste wise, the vanilla/walnut/dulce cake was okay, the bottom layer was a bit dry and not as moist as the other layers. The cake was not too sweet. Hubby said the chocolate was not too chocolately. I have yet to taste the fruit tart but it looks really tasty.

The latte I thought I was getting from their Instagram reels

I'm all about the asthetics and coffee when it comes to a bakery/coffee shop, so when I saw an IG reel by Alpen Bakery I was all in and couldn't wait to try it. The bakery itself is situated in an old strip plaza and the big windows face the parking lot and a fast food drive thru. I will say the latte was good and the man behind the counter was very nice and welcoming. Price for a latter was much lower than most places. I ordered a latte just like the one I saw on their reel, but what I got was a plain white to go cup, napkin and plastic spoon. Coffee was good but there's lots of good coffee around. Ambiance not so great and not very clean either. Floors covered in coffee and crumbs and couches crumbs and stains. I don't think I'll be back.

Bought a ton of goodies for my grandmas birthday!!! Everything was AMAZING. The puff pastry cake was my favorite. The balance of flavors was excellent. The cheesecake wasn't my favorite because the cake itself wasn't really sweet but the texture was nice. The cakes were AMAZING with a balance of flavors and the texture was so soft and delicious. Definitely will get again.

This was our 2nd time here. The desserts are delicious. We ordered 2 sandwiches which were tasty and fresh. We ordered some desserts to go berry tart, quatro leche and carrot cake. We tried them when we got home. Delicious, fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. The owners were friendly. They have a wide variety of cakes. Definitely a must try.

Great new Artisanal Bakery-very reminiscent of a scaled down Pani in Aventura however with much better prices and excellent products and service. Very nice young man at counter, personable without being pushy and very happy and willing to explain everything in the display case. Wish them well and will definitely be back-nice cafe atmosphere inside perfect for a little coffee and dessert get together without having to trek too far South!! Delicious and very fresh pastries!!

Mil hojas with cream and dulce de leche

Wonderful pastries. Cute place for afternoon tea. Celebrated there for my birthday. The pavlova and mil hoja are incredible.

My friend stopped by today to get a few things for the team. And I got to try this delicious chocolate cake. She said the place was very cute and the staff was super friendly and professional. I look forward to go in person and try other things.

We took a bite of each

First time visiting everything looked great in the display case we took the orange cake and a walnut brownie. Very disappointed both were dry and hard to eat the cake tasted old snd the brownie was tasteless and dry. The man running the place was nice. But we went for the baked goods.

Sweets are just sweet enough, and light. Slices are big and i often save half for later. Their cheesecake is best enjoyed same day.

Today I celebrated two friends' birthdays with Sunday brunch at Vienna Café & Bistro in Cooper…read moreCity, and it was absolutely delightful! From the moment we walked in, we were transported from an ordinary strip mall setting into a charming English tea room filled with flowers, beautiful décor, cozy seating, and even fun royal family cutouts for photos. Every table felt unique, and the elegant china added to the experience. We chose the Duchess Tea Package, which included a pot of tea, soup or salad, and a three-tiered selection of sandwiches and desserts. The sandwiches were delicious, featuring favorites like tuna salad, egg salad, turkey, and croissant sandwiches. We also enjoyed scones, macarons, cheesecake, and other sweet treats. You can also opt to order regular menu brunch items like eggs Benedict, crepes , or French toast . To make the birthday celebration extra special, I ordered desserts for my friends, which were beautifully presented while the staff sang "Happy Birthday." It was such a thoughtful touch. The tea selection was extensive, and our server was attentive and friendly despite the restaurant being completely full. We arrived at 11 a.m. on a Sunday and the dining room remained busy throughout our visit. There was even a baby shower being hosted in a private area. They do offer outdoor seating, but I highly recommend sitting inside to fully enjoy the atmosphere. My friends and I wore our large hats and gloves to embrace the tea party experience, and we took so many wonderful photos and memories home with us. Overall, Vienna Café & Bistro exceeded my expectations. The food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made for a memorable afternoon, and I can't wait to return.

During my initial visit, I encountered a level of service that I hope is not representative of your…read moreestablishment as a whole, but rather an isolated incident involving a single individual. The service I received was exceptionally poor. The sandwiches were, for the most part, average, with one exception, and the scones, one of the.sandwich clotted cream were satisfactory. The tea was acceptable. My visit was in February for high tea, and I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, I approached lady Hostess A and requested an indoor table. She informed me that the indoor seating was full but suggested I could sit anywhere outside. I proceeded to seat myself. There was no queue or other patrons waiting at that time. Mr. Waiter J..later informed me about reported issues with bees in the outdoor area, which I understood. I reiterated my preference for indoor seating, explaining that Hostess A had indicated no availability inside, which led me to the outdoor area. After I placed my order, other patrons arrived. Hostess A escorted them to outdoor tables and provided them with menus. This pattern continued with subsequent arrivals. I observed that all the patrons she seated shared a similar skin tone to hers, unlike myself. Furthermore, after patrons departed from the indoor area, Hostess A personally re-entered the outdoor area to escort these new arrivals inside, despite their arrival significantly after mine. One patron, whom she seated indoors, later returned outside..The inside was full but many cluents left in groups freeibg uo various table indore..She appeared to have many options..options that i was not offrerd after i my wish was express that i wanted an inside table Lady A indicating that indoor seating had been available. I also overheard her inquiring about reservations, suggesting that these patrons did not have one. Another patron seated near me was also offered an indoor table. Throughout this experience, Mr. J observed my predicament with the bees and proactively intervened to improve the situation. I shared my observations with him, and he offered me an indoor table, which I declined at that point. His exemplary teamwork and service in addressing the disrespect and unfavorable treatment I experienced were didpleased . My waiter, Mr. J.. was ok.. When I shared my observations with him, he suggested that Hostess A might have forgot about me. I found this particularly noteworthy given that two patrons were seated within arm's length of me, requiring her to navigate around me. My table was also positioned beside the entrance, a high-traffic area for incoming guests. While I acknowledged the possibility of oversight, I also reflected on the unfortunate phenomenon where individuals of differing skin tones are sometimes marginalized as in my case. I sat outside and while the bees was competing with my food. Mr. Jeh...consistently refilled my tea and checked on me frequently. The waiter also checked on me and acknowledged the bee issue. Mr. Jel ....was professionalism, kindness, and efficiency in attempting to rectify the situation were commendable. I would rate the waiter's quality as 3 out of 10, while Mr. jEl....service merits a perfect 10. Regarding the restaurant as a whole, I am profoundly disappointed. I had been enthusiastic about finding a tea house, as they are a rarity in South Florida.

The inside looks small, but it's really not, there is also seating outside. The first thing you notice is the abundance of Argentinian empanadas with all sorts of flavors to choose from. Don't let the empanadas distract you- their coffee is just as good, especially the Dulce de leche latte. I've had it hot and cold but I prefer it hot. My favorite empanada is the short rib but the chicken verdeo is just as good. My husband had the chicken curry empanada (like I said lots of flavors to choose from) and he really liked it. This second visit I wasn't sure what to get but the Barista/ cashier gave us pointers on which empanadas to go with. They have other food as well like protein shakes, breakfast, sandwiches, etc. Service is attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. What else could you possibly want? This is the kind of place you need to visit multiple times because there's no way you could order everything that looks/sounds good; you'd be leaving with the display cases. With over 10 unique flavor choices, their empanadas are hands down some of the best I've ever had. It's almost impossible to describe how the crust is both flaky, yet sturdy & loaded with ingredients. They're buttery, soft & delicious. My favorite is the short rib but I also really enjoy the caprese & the ham & cheese. The fresh ingredients really make these things stand out in an area that has plenty of empanadas around. Look no further, come here for your fix. Their iced lattes & hot coffees are crafted to order. While there isn't a massive selection to choose from, they definitely do it right. Well balanced flavors, no bitterness, not too sweet. Their pastries are also great. The croissants are airy, flaky & buttery. I really liked their brownie but it sure is sweet. It's chocolatey, rich, moist & big enough to share between 2 people. They offer boxes that contain mini versions of their pastries so you can try multiple without committing to an entire item. The dining area is small but there's some tables inside & a couple outside. The employees are always very nice but service is definitely slow when there's a crowd. I prefer getting my orders to-go & I'm usually served in a reasonable time. Next time you're feeling empanadas or want a new bakery to visit, stop on by. You'll be sure to find some delicious things here.

The overwhelming activity at the café was suprising since this is a relatively new business with zero café reference affixed to the exterior of the Flamingo Supermarket. I was alerted to the existence of the café solely from customer reviews. Word of mouth on social media is a strong tool for new small businesses. Tore off a ticket service number from the reel and waited impatiently to order my colada. As my antcipation grew, as well as my undeniable thirst, one more bakery employee would be beneficial and appreciated. My cherished number was finally called by the pleasant barista who brewed up a nice colada. Waited a few minutes and noticed the extensive assortment of traditional latino pastries and oversized custom cakes. My eyes grew wide as the chef loaded up the hot food display with giant bbq beef ribs (not exaggerating, they were massive - see pic). The hot colada was poured from a small metal kettle into the logo-free styrofoam cup as I felt a tear of joy rolling down my cheek straddling my wide smile. For .99 cents you can purchase a "shot" of espresso or a decent sized colada for $3.00. The bakery offers plenty of tables to relax and took refuge at one with my well deserved dark roasted Café Bustelo blended colada which tasted fantastic. No doubt, I will return to this cafè with friends on my next visit.

We get married in a few months, and our cake provider scheduled a day for us to come in and pick our flavors. We pulled up to the multilevel business park looking for the place. It was a trick, as the location was on the backside of the building. We walked into a quiet room in the front of the shop. A fella came out shortly after and was ready to get things going. we took a seat and he brought out a sample of about 7 difference flavors of cakes. They had 3 samples that were more moist. I definitely preferred them. But they were all pretty good. Maybe I was hungry but we tore through the cakes. We both agreed the amaretto was the best. We got a 3 tier cake, so they let us pick 2 more flavors as well, 1 per tier. It was a fun and efficient time. The atrium was a bright fun room. There were examples of cakes everywhere that added to the fun vibes. It was a successful day, and we look forward to seeing the final cake the day of.

The cake was the perfect size for a small celebration of 6 people, and we will surely have leftovers! Can't wait to try!!! Will post a picture of the cake later and a review on the taste! Update: the cake was absolutely delicious! At first I was stuck between the Vanilla Rum cake or the Amaretto, and I do not regret choosing the Amaretto. The only comment I have is that the icing is a little too sweet so I always ended up leaving some behind, but the cake itself was phenomenal especially for the price!!! And if you eat the cake with the icing it's obviously delicious, but I personally am not a huge icing eater so as mentioned before, I always left some behind. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family, and will be returning!
