    Florentin Breakfast
    Valerie L.

Absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed every bite. Everything tasted very fresh. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday and arrived around 9:30 am. You have to order at the front and you find your own table so I would say that was the only downside. Thirty minutes into our breakfast it became very full. There were people hovering over us waiting for us to be done to take the table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It just felt uncomfortable and like I was being rushed to finish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not photographed was the bakery items, chocolate croissant and blueberry danish which we ate too fast to take pics lol. We truly did love the food just wish the place was bigger and someone was directing seating.

We had a wonderful experience at Florentin Bakery today. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place felt like it was in Israel, not Hollywood, Florida.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was tastefully decorated and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good and the food was unique for being in the United States. I had a croissant that was soft, fresh and buttery. Our grandchildren had various bowls and pastries stuffed with cheeses and eggs. My daughter had an "emma bowl" (Hebrew for mother) with kale, cheese and several other vegetables. I tried it and enjoyed the dish. It had a light coating of a dressing that added to the flavor. All of the breakfasts came with an abundance of freshly baked bread. This place is definitely a winner. The restaurant is dairy kosher.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute and capable bakery/coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside had nice decor and comfortable AC inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a wide variety off hot drinks and tasty delight's. My server (Elinor) was very friendly. The parking spots are small and limited near the bakery. My mushroom danish was very good. Crispy outside with soft Bulgarian cheese inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I recently visited Florentin bakery for the first time after finding it on a whim on Apple Maps and loved it! I had the Shakshuka, which is very decently sized and accompanied by slices of sourdough bread, tomato cucumber salad, olives, and tahini. My friend had the shakshuka pretzel and really enjoyed her meal as well. All of the food came out quickly. I also had a zaatar feta pastry, which was my favorite item of the visit - I ended up ordering more to take home! All of the food was so flavorful and reasonably priced for the portion sizes and quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating inside was very pretty and well decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is also seating available outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It felt like back home! The food was amazing. Service was good despite the place being super packed on mother's days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is decorated adorably and the ambience was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommended!!

    CHOCOLATE CROISSANT

Several times a week I drive by this plaza and notice a kosher bakery slammed with cutomers sitting in the outside patio. Today, I was in the area and had to try this bakery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The parking lot was tight but it was very busy at 930am.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was super modern and also extremely busy with plenty of staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pastries were huge and the chocolate croissants really looked good so I bought one for $2.60 and sat outside on the patio. The chocolate was moist and the exterior was perfectly flaky. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom was very clean with wooden flooring and a white vessel sink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will return for a coffee and an apple almond strudel.

A little gem in our neighborhood- all the pastries I have tried have been great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the two ladies are sweethearts. They always greet you with a smile! I am planning to go and have breakfast because I have always gone and picked up pastries.

I was simply walking in the neighborhood I saw a bakery off Stirling rd so I thought what the heck. Staff were very friendly. A mix of decadent pastries to more savory pastries. One thing I will say is they didn't have a lot of flavors but what they did focus on is quality of ingredients. Mediterranean chic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a quaint little cafe if you're in the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend.

Friendly restaurant and tasting food. My hubby's egg salad was well prepared and we loved the ambiance of the place: clean, high ceilings and nicely decorated. Parking is a bit difficult and no ice water but otherwise we loved it.

Super disappointed with this place…read more Pros: The potatoes and eggs were good & the hot sauce has great flavor! Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.

**Absolutely Outstanding - Best Breakfast & Lunch in South Florida!**…read more I finally made it to **The New Lighthouse Caffe** and wow -- what a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the place feels bright, welcoming, and genuinely cozy, like a little slice of Italy meets a sunny Florida café. The breakfast menu is phenomenal -- everything is made fresh with high-quality ingredients and so much care. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the French Toast were fluffy and flavorful, and their omelettes and Benedicts are next-level delicious. We also tried lunch items and were equally impressed: hearty portions, beautiful presentation, and flavors that taste like they came straight from a family kitchen. What truly sets this place apart is **Chef Carlo** and **Lise**. Chef Carlo (a true Italian master with over 40 years of experience) pours his heart into every plate, and you can taste the passion and skill in every bite. Lise is incredibly warm and attentive -- they both make you feel like family from the very first visit. Whether you're stopping in for a relaxed breakfast (served all day!), a satisfying lunch, or just a perfect cup of coffee and a slice of that legendary cake, this is the spot. Friendly service, spotless restaurant, and food that keeps you coming back. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You'll leave smiling, full, and already planning your next visit. Thank you, Chef Carlo and Lise -- keep doing what you do so beautifully! Highly, highly recommend!

Everything was delicious, and the coffee hit the spot. The service was fantastic. The woman who took my order was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The interior and decor is very clean and captivating. Creating the perfect environment to enjoy a nice meal or drink. The cocktail menu was very impressive! The coffee was good and the custom glass wear it was served in made for an elevated coffee experience. After browsing the menu, the Shakshuka called my name! The perfect bowl of tomato sauce with peppers and onions. The spices were fragrant and created a very balanced dish and of course the eggs were perfectly cooked and runny when you break into them.
