Thus far, Shibolim has been the best bread bakery I've been to, and I've frequented a few. They are really friendly, down to earth and seem to be community driven. The breads are always fresh. We've used the bread for sandwiches, soup accompaniments, toasting, and so much more. The kids absolutely love them. On my last visit I found out they now have donuts. The hazelnut were delicious! Taste like a filling of Ferrero Rocher lol. In any case, as I said, the staff, especially a little miss who seems to work in the front and the back, is always friendly. It's always a pleasant visit providing a welcoming environment, making a repeat consumer of me. Keep up the great work guys!

The bread is very fresh here and you get pull it right off the baking racks and bag it yourself. We tried the sesame seed and the multicolor seed and thought the multicolor seed was the best. Also recommend getting a loaf that's less well done. My daughter loves the pain au chocolate because it is filled with a good amount of quality chocolate and it's also very fresh (straight from the baking racks). She also had the cinnamon roll with chocolate and the plain cinnamon roll and enjoyed these as well. The croissants are less flaky than you would find at a French bakery and more dense if you like that style. The prices are very fair. The long bread loaf is around $3-4 and the bakery items are sold per pound an$ weighed. The lady at the desk is very friendly and there are a lot of regulars that go here. Check it out if you are in the area and are looking for some fresh breads and pastries (even if you don't keep kosher).

Stopped by this local bakery and surprised to find a number of fresh baked breads and interesting pastries as well as cake Tried the recommended orange cake as well as a nice loaf of white bread with a slight onion coating. They also had a wide selection of fluffy rolls. Employee was friendly and recommended orange loaf. I encourage folks to support this local bakery. Plenty of free parking in front.

She didn't even mind that I basically ate a free sample without really asking. I would have paid for it but she waved that off. We did buy some items. They have some good breads, pastries, and the like. It's a Kosher Bakery in a former True Value hardware store.

Found this steakhouse on the AADVANTAGE dining program…read more Olives and pita bread are served complimentary. There are no cocktails on this Saturday night. I don't know if it's standard practice. From the looks of what would be the bar, I assume there is no liquor license. Many bottles of wine and limited beer options and no liquor bottles. The waiter said the owner doesn't serve cocktails tonight. ‍‍ The ice machine was broken. For the prices on menu items, there's no way that's acceptable. They could have brought in bags of ice, and we would have never known. We had no ice to go with our water and coke, and the beer was barely cool. Finally, we see bags of ice brought in and wasn't offered any. ‍‍ Tomahawk steak medium well was good, but I needed a little more seasoning. Mash potatoes tasted like freshly smashed potatoes and needed a little salt and butter, and the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy with a charred taste. 3 Lamb chops were serves medium rare so it was requested to be well done then it was good, the spinach was bitter with no flavor and the rice tasted old as it was leftovers from previous day or days. Rice didn't taste freshly cooked at all. Bone in Ribeye medium rare was good with a Cesar salad that tasted strange. The Cesar dressing tasted like a blue cheese mixed with ranch and a vinegar. I don't know it just wasn't a good Ceasars dressing, and it was iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Overall, they prepared good steaks and good lamb chops, but they need to step it up on the sides. For the price of steak, they need to give a better portion and more than 3 lamb chops. For the quality of food it's an overpriced restaurant. Though the digital menu is up with technology, it's not truly functional. It's not user-friendly for older persons, and it had a glitch. They should consider a QR code. Overall, the ambiance is nice. The food was ok but overpriced. Stop in to support a small business. 1 issue I did have, the waiter didn't help us while ordering. My dad ordered rice with his lamb chops, not knowing that it came with rice, and the waiter said nothing. I was bothered, but 2 sides come with the steaks. My son didn't order any sides, so I requested that the rice be a side of my son's order. They corrected that with no problem. the spinach and the rice were removed from the bill. Customer service was decent.
