I am a big fan of Superwow coffee for their beans and drinks but my last experience was quite poor. If you are in a rush, don't go there especially if you order food. It took nearly 1H to get our 3 drinks and our food. We went on a Sunday morning, 10AM, we were the only customers when we got there. We ordered 3 drinks and food. It took 30 minutes to get the food, and because they had forgotten one of the item, that needed to be cooked, I had to wait another 20 minutes. The drinks did not come fast either but because we ordered their specialty drinks, I can understand it takes time to prep. Staff is nice, but quite frankly I would have appreciated a "sorry about the wait/for messing up your order" and they could have warned us about food time prep. Either way, for us it was the last time we were taking food here. read more

I stopped here on the way to work this morning at 9 am. I was reading the recent reviews and most of them were discouraging, but I have been wanting to try the ube latte for a while so I stopped in anyway. This place definitely has potential. Unfortunately, there were no baked goods out when I was there so I was not able to try anything. I am disappointed that my 12 oz latte with soy milk came out to $9. The truth is, the taste nor the demand for this place warranted such a high price point. I think I would be more willing to return if I had not paid so much for something I was not very impressed with. The flavor of ube was not really there, it was just very purple. This is just my opinion though and warrants no hate for this business. The ambiance is very cute and like I said, the place has serious potential, especially had there been any baked goods for sale. read more

I recently visited Superwow in Hollywood, and wow I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before! Thanks to Yelp we stumbled upon this gem, even though it's been open for 3 years. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Valentina, who was pleasant, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. She even shared some backstory about the shop: they roast their own coffee in-house, have locations in Brazil, and will soon be opening in Brooklyn, NY. Every 3rd Sunday of the month they also host a "Cars and Coffee" event, which fits perfectly with their car-inspired aesthetic. The theme is done tastefully and creatively very unique. There's also merch available, along with bags of coffee and teas to take home. I brought my toddler, who absolutely loved the décor and immediately asked for a hot chocolate. Valentina was so accommodating she prepared it with real chocolate at the perfect kid-friendly temperature. I treated myself to an Ube Latte, and it was phenomenal! I paired it with a guava and cheese pastry that tasted so fresh, even though I arrived an hour before closing. My husband went with the Ethiopian Gesha, and he couldn't stop raving about it.Everything from the service to the quality of drinks and food was A+. This was such an awesome experience, and we'll definitely be back to try the rest of their menu. I came across Superwow Coffee on Yelp while looking for a new spot to grab coffee, and after learning more about their concept, I knew I had to give it a try. We live in a time where terms like specialty coffee and the purchase of high-end espresso machines and grinders have become the norm. Too often, that takes the place of true devotion to the craft of roasting and brewing. After my visit here, I can confidently say that Superwow has a genuine love and appreciation for coffee that you can feel and taste, not just see. We were served by Val, who was so professional and knowledgeable that I thought she might be the owner. Her service was outstanding, and every drink she prepared was executed with care and precision. The environment itself was welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and the kind of space you could easily spend hours in. The Ube latte was a total showstopper. As someone who loves Ube and has tried it in many forms, this was easily a 10/10. I'll be craving it from now on. We also ordered a hot chocolate for our little one, and I was happy to see it made with real chocolate rather than prepackaged powder. The difference in quality was obvious in the taste. The guava and cheese pastry was another highlight.I could've easily ordered ten of them. To top it off, I had an Ethiopian Gesha, brewed (I believe) on an Origami dripper. As a coffee roaster myself, I tend to gravitate toward these kinds of offerings. I didn't check the tasting notes beforehand, but the cup had a light, tea-like body with subtle sweetness. It surprised me with less acidity and complexity than expected, but it was delicate, clean, and enjoyable. The coffee nerd in me wanted to cup it and experiment with different recipes to see what else it could reveal. I also picked up a bag of their coffee, The Wow, to brew at home. So far, I've made it as a pour-over. While it still needs some dialing in, the roast is clearly clean and well executed. The Brazil component shines through in both aroma and flavor, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with different brew methods to see how the profile evolves. From what I can tell, they'll be expanding their roasting program, which will be exciting to watch as it develops. Overall, if you're looking for a thoughtful coffee experience, Superwow is worth the visit. Pair a pastry with your drink of choice, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. P.S. I am in love with every aspect about this cafe. Decor, food, beverages, noise level. First, I wouldn't say that Superwow is the most traditional coffee shop. You'll find Korean inspired baked goods as well as beverages with a lot of flavors you may not have combined before. For me this is all a positive being that I visit cafes constantly and prefer some options that offer variety. The service was great, the staff was helpful and pretty quick. The ambiance of this place was so good and interesting. I wanted to like the matcha but unfortunately I didn't. I got an iced Ube Matcha and it was disappointing. I couldn't taste the Ube or the matcha, it tasted more like pure oat milk. I noticed in the review pictures the hot matcha latte looks so vibrant and nice and although the iced matcha latte I got looked nice with layers the matcha color threw me off too. The price for the size I got, which may have been around 12 oz (not sure) added to it all. I couldn't finish this drink at all. I'm not a coffee drinker otherwise I'd try their coffee but iced matcha lattes need improvement. read more

Superwow Coffee has been on my coffee list for a while now so I'm glad I finally made the time to give it a try. We went Sunday morning, around 11am, and it was pretty packed! I didn't realize the decor and vibes were car related, and there was some sort of car meetup happening in the lot next door, so a few patrons were part of that as well. It was really cool to see the car enthusiast community and it's cool that Superwow seems to be a space for that. In terms of the menu, they offer some pretty unique flavors, both in coffee and in food. I love onigiri, so I will definitely give theirs a try the next time I stop by. For coffee, we got the Smokey Niagara and the iced cortado (I took a couple sips before I remembered to snap a pic). Both were pretty good! We needed just one more pump of vanilla syrup, which the barista behind the counter was kind enough to let us do. Honestly loved the vibes. Came here to try their ube latte and was genuinely surprised by their theme and by the way they brought it together. Definitely very into racing cars, but the design of their coffee logo is what stood out to me. Specifically the eyes which may remind most of the eyes of Rat Fink and the design itself is very Hot Rod esque. They have an F1 John Player Special car hanging on the wall, while the TVs show multiple types of other car races (drag, etc). They really tied it all together well personally. Aside from the theme and plenty of indoor seating, they have pretty good espresso! I really did enjoy the Ube latte but it did lack a little Ube flavor. It was very much just a sprinkle of Ube. Not too sweet though so it was still good! My fiance ordered the wow and wow. The single macchiato shot was great but the single espresso shot was probably too much for him. Just strong and bitter. Came here just to have coffee. Ordered the ube iced latte to drink in the place. It's a small place that's decked out in car memorabilia. Not my style so I didn't care for it. It's also dark inside from the outside. I'm only mentioning this cause the door opens inwards from the outside and when opening the door, we hit a small child who was hanging out by the door. I recommend they switch up the swing side of the door (I think it's safer anyway for fire hazard reasons) or do something about the visibility since it's easy to walk past the place too. But honestly I liked the latte so much that i don't really care about the decor or the small child being a victim of poor architecture. Ube lattes are definitely something I like. It's a little bitter which is what I like (I'm not much for sweet), but may not be everyone's cup of tea. read more

Finally made it here. I saw someone post about this place with the ube latte and naturally I had to stop by. Superwow Coffee is hidden in the art area of Hollywood. Right now there is major construction across the street from them so it's not much of a view but the coffee shop more than makes up for it with its cool car theme when you walk in. Can't miss the mini race car on the wall. The place is quite spacious and total art vibes. Almost like this coffee shops belongs in Wynwood kind of vibe. I love the art and colors. Even the espresso machine is pure magic with the custom art! So beautiful. Met Talita, one of the owners. It was a pleasure chatting with Talita and hearing their story of how they started. Her husband is a big car fan so blame him for all the cool car stuff here. The owners are Brazilian but the coffee shop is Japanese inspired espresso. I had to ask how that came about. She said her husband is big on race-car drifting and somehow that is associated with the Japanese inspired espresso. They offer baked goods and light eats including ube brownie, chocolate chip brownie, banana bread, chicken croquette, cheese bread and lovely rolls. I got the ube brownie because UBE! But I will be back for the chocolate hazelnut bun. Talita was kind enough to ask what level of sweetness I like my lattes. I don't like super sweet so I opted for medium, I want the ube flavor but I still want to taste my coffee. Lol. Got to chill and enjoy my delicious ube latte with the perfect foam milk art! I'm glad I was finally able to come check out Superwow Coffee! I've had this saved in my bookmarks for a while now! As soon as we came in we got greeted and feel welcomed. The coffee shop is big and has tons of tables and chairs. They are Japanese inspired espressos. Their decorations was car inspired too. And they have car meet ups, so if you have a Japanese car, be sure to ask about the days of the meet ups. I got the Ube Be Latte hot in oat milk. It was so rich and tasted great! I feel like the oat milk kind of over powered the ube, so maybe next time I'll stick to regular milk. And let me tell you! That latte got me staying up til 3 am! But it was prefect it was perfect as I had a couple assignments to work on. Hahaha I would definitely drink their coffee earlier in the day. Located in Hollywood, you will find this race car theme inspired coffee shop. The decor was cool, especially if you are into cars. Their La Marzacco machine is custom and beautiful. I went with a traditional Cortado and my wife went with an Ube cappuccino. The Ube was amazing and gave it this sweet vanilla taste. I'll probably get that for myself next time. Been wanting to come here for a while since I've noticed it on Yelp and I'm a sucker for anything Ube so that attracted me the most. This spot is a Japanese-inspired coffee shop and the aesthetic gave me Superdry vibes (a Japanese clothing brand) for some reason. Got the Ube-Bé Latte with oat milk and it was pretty good iced. My teeth and tongue did turn slightly purple so make sure you wash it down with water afterwards. I also really enjoyed my partner's drink the Nos (if you like citrusy iced coffee) because it was super refreshing on a hot day. For snacks, we shared the Pao de Queijo which took a bit of a wait because they were reheating it in their tiny oven so it's worth the wait than to eat it as is. They are a tad on the smaller side but thankfully it came as a bundle of three (would be sad to pay so much for just one). These specialty drinks we ordered reminds me of the upscale coffee drinks I've tried in Portland. So I hope this spot shows up on more people's radars because of its artisanal vibe worth trying. However, it is located a block away from the Main Street so it doesn't get as much foot traffic. Location is very important for businesses, and the construction of the building next to it is not exactly helping, so I hope they still thrive where they are! This place is new. I was told it has been open for around three months now. The sign read Japanese inspired expresso. That sounded intriguing to me. It's nice and big inside, but it was not what I expected to see at first, wow. the person that took care of me was professional and friendly. I was glad I checked them out. I got the Ube Be Latte. The lady working the desk recommend it. It was a beautiful purple drink. It was made with some exotic fruit that I already forgot the name of it and other things inside the drink. I loved so many things about this place. First it's a big coffee spot. You can easily meet up with clients or friends to grab a hot cup of coffee. It's the perfect hang out spot or spot to study. It's a very welcoming vibe. The staff are so friendly and helpful. This was my first visit and I was please to see very visible Menu items up close. They had fresh baked goods that all looked so delicious. I tried a black sesame seed cinnamon bun. As strange as it sounds it's thick, sweet but not too sweet and warm. It was delicious so you gotta try it. I am trying to cut caffeine so I asked about the Ube latte . They created the perfect Ube latte with decaf coffee. This drink was beautiful, warm, and so creamy. I don't know how to describe it other than I felt the love in each sip. This drink was so well balanced that I didn't need to add a thing to it. Delicious. I went to superwow with a friend recently and felt the need to make a review. I ordered a matcha and it was very expensive for the size I got. There are places I can get matcha just a walk away that taste better and give you way more. It had a strange flavor and no amount of tampering with it when I got home made it any more edible. They also added lots of ice to it which really plummets the value on top of everything. I have ordered the food as well and it's the same story, lower quality for high prices. I only gave two stars for the customer service which was helpful and kind. The ambiance is fine. Kind of feels like you're in someone's garage but I think that's what they're going for. I think for the prices they charge they could go more heavily into the theme. read more

Superwow is one of the most unique coffee places I've been to in South Florida. From a drip coffee or a standard espresso drink to an ube latte or espresso with orange lime zest and tonic water, and black sesame cinnamon rolls, they definitely have something for everyone. I spoke with one of the owners while I was there and they are super knowledgeable and helpful. Their coffee is all specially blended for Superwow in California and they carry beans from places like Columbia, Brazil, the Netherlands and even Japan. Highly recommend checking them out if you get the chance **There's a lot of construction going on across the street. Had the pleasure of coming to Superwow for the first time and loved it! You can never go wrong with a fun/cozy cafe that offers unique and tasty drinks and treats. Once I heard they have Ube I had to grab it, I added mine with almond milk and one shot of espresso. The ube was light but not overpowering the coffee taste, although coffee is not my top pick for drinks I pleasantly enjoyed the wonderful taste of nutty/floral flavors. The other drink, ordered by my boyfriend, was the Sakura Midnight; such a sweet surprise this drink had! The lovely sakura flavor flowed nicely with the hints of honey and cold brew. On the treats side, Superwow offered so many unique treats to enjoy alongside your drink. I had to stop myself from trying them all and settled with the kimchi pork shiopan. It was delicious and filled with the best combination of sweet/spicy kimchi with a juicy pork filling all rolled into one.
