Had the Nitro Cold Brew Latte and it was delish. I added caramel flavoring per my signature flavor. The service was quick. I love this little quaint spot right in the heart of Hollywood. Bit overpriced paid $8 for a small coffee but at least it was good. They had in the back their own coffee brewery. I would love a tour! I'll be back. read more

Koffee Kult is in the coffee business...obviously. They are a retail coffee house, but they are also more than that. But they're not open on weekends. The store seems a bit like not the main focus. That's OK. It's quiet and relaxing. They are also a coffee roasting operation...like manufacturing. They probably do lots of other things that I don't know about. Maybe wholesale distribution? It seems like an interesting operation. What I do know is that they have great coffee. I have enjoyed great cups of fresh, hot coffee. I have bought and loved bags of fresh roasted coffee; Jamaican Blue Mountain I savored in my own coffee maker. Special occasion coffee. I will come here during weekdays when I'm around. Walked into an empty café no employee insight. Finally someone came out and said if you're looking for an espresso drink, we cannot make them. After an almost one hour drive, I wanted to buy a specific type of coffee bean and they said they were out of that one. They roast their own coffee in the back, how do you run out? So I chose a different bean and pulled out cash to pay. They told me that they don't take cash. There was no mention of that on their website by the way. I had the exact amount so they wouldn't have to make change. She refused. I hate charging items and asked what she would have done if I only had cash. "I would have asked you to leave." It is amazing how different coffee tastes when it is not drowned with sugar and cream. One can really appreciate the flavors. Sadly, that is not me, lol. But today, I made an exception. I took some advice from the friendly guy working the counter. The Americano was, I think, what I ordered. I kept changing my mind. It was nice. It had a nice fruity like after taste. It was unexpected and nice. I purchased a chocolate bar from them. It was one big solid bar. It was a brand I had not seen before. It was good. It has honey and almond. It was good chocolate. I had seen this coffee shop suggested on Yelp, but wasn't quite sure where it was- as the holidays are approaching I was thinking of getting something of a couture coffee for my husband (I've bought pods from Walmart in the past, and ... well... let's say I decided to do better this year). I was immediately impressed by the ambiance, decor, and warm welcome. The KK coffee shop is super clean and smells beyond amazing. It reminds me of places you will find further North, which is really refreshing. Above all, Renee was super sweet and offered my little one a special ring and stickers. We even met the owner who was also very nice and made my son (4 years) feel special. I ordered a nitro cold brew and a gift box with Holiday Blend and Harrar. To be fair, their coffee is good. They make and ship freshly roasted beans with above-average flavor. However, their customer service is really sub-par. I decided to order over $50 worth of beans in order to get their free shipping (with 2 day Fed-Ex shipping). After finally realizing my shipped coffee included 2 day shipping (instead of a delay causing it to be over 4 days), their "Head Nut" AKA "Dave" from customer support emailed me and said: "OK great, we can refund your shipping cost 100%. Please note 100% of $0 is $0." A very snarky reply that clearly shows they don't really care about keeping their customers. If your order experience goes perfectly, you'll be fine. But if not, watch out! Don't expect even average customer service. read more

Exceeded my expectations! I have been wanting to visit this place and try their coffee. The challenge for me is that they don't open on the weekends and I work on week days. I had a day off and took a drive to Hollywood and it was worth it. I had an ice coffee (dark roast) recommended by the barista. I also took the opportunity and bought some coffee to brew at home. While I was there they didn't have any tours in progress of the facility but you can easily see the coffee being processed and packaged at any time. Tips: parking may be a little challenging but they are located by great areas to walk around and take a stroll after. So don't hesitate to park a block or two down. They just opened up the storefront a couple months ago. Keep in mind they're only open 9-1 for now. Love the decor, it's cool and comfortable to hangout but there's no wifi so get ready to unplug (or hotspot). The coffee is downright fantastic. Was walking by with a friend and saw the shop from the street. We went inside to order and while at the counter an aggressive man came through another door and said to go outside and that dogs were not allowed. My friend tried to explain that his dog is a service animal and has proof, but the guy aggressively said "you can go outside". We didn't even have a chance to order before he aggressively stormed through the door.
