This Cosco location seems and feels more crowded than other locations. But the staff are friendly and courteous. We found everything we were looking for today. The check out line was long but it moved efficiently and quickly. There are plenty of Cosco employees working consistently to organize items stacked on the shelves and make sure everything goes where they belong. Listen I love Costco real bad BUT do not come here on a Sunday. It is packed ( I hear its the last day for the sales) and parking is a complete nightmare. The staff us still friendly and helpful. Tons of samples and lots of sales but its just wayyy too packed. Random, but I feel like they make the blueberry croissants wayyy too dark. Lol! Like why? I had a membership for many years, and although I live alone and purchased certain things in bulk, I alwys found it was worth while for me. A lot of people said "you're a house hold of one, why buy so much"! When you know how to portion things out such as meats or fish and freeze it properly, it's cost efficient. Never had a bad experience at Costco, here and in Ny, it was always a win for me. Also, gas price here is generally cheaper than at the local gas stations, another reason I took up a membership. I always opted for the executive membership, which gives you cash back towards the end of your year, I always applied the cash back towards my renewal, win win. read more

Decent Costco location, definitely the one i frequent most since its closest to my house. Overall prefer this store layout over the one on sample (it just makes more sense IMO), although I find the one on sample carries some products than this one ... giving a bit more options when it comes to variety. They've updated the gas station lines so its now less likely to b backed up all the way to state road 84 which is a plus. My main frustration is the parking.. it can get crazy during the busy hours ... so getting in and out can take extended time... I think if they are looking to update anything... the parking lot layout and size should be the next phase. Other than that the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Costco has unique stuff there plus with the food every isle you get to taste something there. The food court is beyond cheap. Hot dog and a drink is like 2.00. A whole extra large pizza is 9.99 pepperoni or plain. The calzone is great and huge and the chicken bake is really good. read more

PARKING LOT DISASTER... Usually I try to stay far away from this Costco due to the parking lot chaos with the tight parking spaces, horns relentlessly honking, extreme difficulty exting from the lot and frequent crashes. But, went to the Costco against my better judgement with my buddy after having a nearby coffee to pick up a nutritional supplement from the pharmacy section and sign up for a new Costco membership, which went smoothly. The sea of customers waiting in the check out lines were insanely deep (see pic) and the flabbergasted stressful look on their faces were classic. The best part of todays adventure was the 1/4 hot dog and 20oz fountain drink for only $1.50, still the same price from twenty years ago. They cut out the onion toppings maybe a cost issue, but the relish, mustard and ketchup were perfect toppings for that big juicy dog and soft bun. Good news to avoid the chaos but no hotdog & drink deal...... Costco delivery is free for orders of $75.00 or more for 2-day delivery, and for orders over $35.00 for same-day delivery with an Instacart+ membership. read more

You know how they say there's a cult following for Costco and Trader Joe's? It's true and I totally get it. I'm a huge fan of Trader Joe's as is and Costco has some very cool items, especially when they introduce new items. But honestly, although I have a Costco membership, I don't go to Costco as often as I do Sam's Club. I have my reasons. Let me explain. Costco and Sam's Club have many similar items, but so many different items too. Costco is definitely the higher end version of Sam's Club. I find prices at Costco can be slightly higher on similar items, I notice these things. Reason number one why I prefer Sam's Club, they are ahead of its time with the "Scan & Go" app. Scan & Go is an app you download and when you arrive to Sam's Club, you can literally scan the items on your phone as you add them to your cart. Once you're done shopping, you can pay for everything on your phone and a QR code appears to show the person checking receipts at the door. Bypass the crazy long lines and go right to exit door. Show them your code and they will scan random items to ensure they are paid for. They say a-ok and you're done. That's it. BRILLIANT!!! I'm shocked Costco hasn't jumped on this bandwagon yet. It is quiet, efficient and you avoid the lines!!! Sam's Club also offer earlier opening hours at 8am for their Plus Memberships which is another game changer. Pay a bit more for the Plus Membership to get more perks, worth it. The regular Sam's membership allows members to enter at 10am like Costco. Sam's Club opening at 8am vs. Costco opening at 10am. Worth it. The Costco crowd and the lines are ALWAYS PURE MADNESS!!! I compare Costco to playing a game of Frogger. Lol. I go to Costco once every few months or only when I am looking for something specific that someone told me about. Then when I'm there, I realize how many cool items Costco really does offer. I love checking out what new items they have. Unfortunately, another downside of Costco is they only accept debit or Visa payments only. I rarely use my debit card and all our credit cards are MC. Of course. I always stress out when I go to Costco not knowing if I'll get my debit card PIN number right. Lol. I know. It's absurd. Then I found out you can bypass the PIN on your Visa debit card by pressing enter. Now I know. Still though, it's inconvenient. All in all, Costco does a wonderful job at introducing great new products and I'll come every few months. It's too easy to spend money here on bulk items so I only go as needed. Haha. I recently had an unpleasant experience at this Costco location and would like to bring it to management's attention. During my visit, I was accompanied by my small service dog, who remained in her satchel the entire time. I have severe social anxiety and agoraphobia, so shopping in busy environments can be challenging. After about an hour and a half of shopping, I briefly placed my dog--still inside her bag--at the front of my cart while I retrieved my payment card at checkout. At that point, an employee named Raymond, about 5'6 260 bald guy, approached me and stated that my dog could not be in the cart, citing "cross contamination." I explained that I was only momentarily grabbing my card, but he insisted it did not matter. While I understand and respect store policies regarding hygiene, the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and lacked empathy, especially given the circumstances and the fact that my service animal was contained. Additionally, his comment that the store "didn't want my business anyway" was particularly concerning and unprofessional. As a result of this experience, I am reconsidering my membership and where I choose to shop moving forward. I believe situations like this could be handled with more understanding and professionalism, especially when service animals and disabilities are involved. I will be seeking legal advice read more

You can never go wrong with Costco! This location doesn't have the biggest parking lot like the Coral Springs location, but definitely has everything you need and then some. I recently checked out the Davie Costco. It was smaller than the one I shop at in Pembroke Pines. It took about five minutes to walk around the store looking for someone who could help me find my regular staples after having gone round and round myself looking for them. Given that the setup is different, I had no clue where to find my birria & cheese Pupusas or my Tex-Mex style chicken tamales. I finally found a young man who was helpful in redirecting me but he didn't know where or if they even carried the tamales. In the process, there was a lady giving out shredded brisket (my fave) samples and this is a real gem here! The two positives here were the faster, shorter checkout lines and the no-nonsense verification at the entrance and exit areas. I don't plan on going back because the other location is my preferred one, but it's nice to have another Costco nearby. read more

Let's start by saying parking is a mess, both times I came and the last time my car was banged . Parking is impossible so many people and the line for gas is crazy . In my opinion it's totally not worth whatever saving you get at this store. So to get a member ship one pays 65 or 130 I got the better of the two but you can only use visa at these stores or cash . I saw online I could buy tires cheap and so when I went into the tire store they were short of attendants and did not have tires advertised on line . I felt like this was bait and switch . I was told I had to order them and wait but my problem is I need them now not later . The tires I needed would have cost 900.00 for four tires but I found the same tires at another place for four tires 400.00 everything included and zero stress . All done on the spot . I never walked in the store because I don't like chaos to shop and I don't want ro walk miles in a store to get a few items . I just recently came back and opened my membership after having another club for a few years, I love going to Costco Wholesale except the parking is always very crowded, and I enjoy looking at items in every aisle. They have great gas prices. Their selection of homes, groceries, and pharmacies is always great, and you can't miss the hot dogs, Pizza, and other yummy items they have at their snack bar. The fun part is going into the refrigerated produce section because of the cold climate. They always have specials on beef and organic food. Let me preface that both my Mom and I have been using Costco Optical Department for at least the past 30 years. We have always returned due to excellent customer service, wide selection of frames, quality and value. This time was no different despite having a small issue. My Mom bought an eyeglass package with progressive lenses. The frames she purchased were a different size and style than she is accustomed to. She has had the same or very similar frames for at least the past twenty years. The frames she purchased were larger than usual She kept saying it seems something distorting what she sees. She tried to explain it as the distortion blurs certain areas when she reads and distance seems to be more out of focus than a blur. Our first visit we were assisted by Veronica. She patiently spent more than a half-hour adjusting the frame and checked the prescription. She assured my Mom the prescription was correct and even double checked the frames measurement against what was on the record. She was unable to assist any further and suggested we return on a weekday when the manager is on duty is available. She told us his name, Elvis, and she mentioned she put notes into the record on the computer of all she attempted to do and still did not work. Lastly, Veronica suggested my Mom attempt wearing it and see if its just a matter of her eyes adjusting to a new prescription and larger frames. We returned for a second visit, when the manager, Elvis was on duty. Elvis already was made aware of my Mom's issue and was ready to assist. He attempted to validate Veronica's findings by further manipulating the frames, check the measurements and prescription with no significant changes seen.. My Mom mentioned how her old glasses she sees almost perfectly clear with those than the new frames. He looked at the prescription of those glasses and matched it up to being a previous prescription. He offered to redo the glasses with the older prescription in the existing frames and see if that helps resolve the issue. My Mom agreed to give it a try. We returned for a third visit, after a week we returned, my Mom, again spoke with Elvis about still having issues with the lenses and/or frames. He offered to redo the entire glasses to the frame similar to the ones she is used to with same previous prescription and measurement. Upon returning for the fourth time, my Mom was nervous about having go through this once again. Elvis greeted us and took the new frame with the new lenses out and had my Mom put it on and double checked the comfort on the ears and on her nose. To her surprise, it worked perfectly! Both Mom and I want to commend both Veronica and Elvis for their pleasant demeanor. We were both always greeted both politely and with a smile showing genuine care to make things right. Both these individuals provided outstanding customer service and were patient, polite and were willing to do go above and beyond. read more

COSTCO TIRE 1/5 -- bought four new tires, they promised to be done 90 minutes or less so I shopped the warehouse with my toddler, 3 hours later they were just starting, so 90 minutes turned into 3.5 hours. I showed up on time to my appointment that was made a week prior. It is better to not give a time then to give a drastically wrong time estimate. I would have made other arrangements for my toddler if I knew it was going to take so long. As mentioned in other reviews, Costco Tire Davie does not have mechanics so they only do rotation and balance, not alignments. You have to take car elsewhere to do alignment if you want/need one, which makes zero sense. Overall customer service was good except for Justin, who kept arguing w me because he didnt like that I was telling other customers that I had been waiting so long. They continued telling everyone that their cars would be ready in 90 minutes when that wasn't the case for anyone because we had all been waiting together. One gentleman I was waiting with, was told they had his tires so he arrived to his appointment and waited one hour before they informed him they in fact did not have his tires on site, that it was an inventory issue. Another gentleman kept receiving texts that his car was ready when in fact it wasn't and they didnt know who was sending those texts, which probably means the private customer information has been sent to an unknown third party.... Not good. COSTCO GAS 5/5 -- they always have employees out there keeping the lines moving, even during the hurricane preparedness, the lines are organized and move along quickly. COSTCO WAREHOUSE 4/5 -- great store but other Costcos are bigger with better parking and bigger selection of items. read more

Prices are low and the food looks amazing. We picked up a few things that Dad had on his shopping list. Smoked salmon, New York strip steaks, wine, napkins and paper towels. For a weekend afternoon, the place was well packed. Nearly all patrons wearing their masks but not really doing a great job of social distancing.
