More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here. I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

This review is for the only location open now (on Federal Hwy) while the rest were for the previous locations. In comparison this location is much smaller. While items are neatly organized and pretty well stocked, it's more like a regular priced store or farmer's market than its original iteration of the $.99 produce spot. Staff at checkout were very polite and friendly. Parking is hit or miss on both sides of the building but can get a little messy/muddy if it rained. Maybe if I lived closer it would be in the rotation but as it stands, for the distance to size/value, it's not worth it for me.

99 Cent Farmer's Market - Pompano What an unexpected gem! The 99 Cent Farmer's Market in Pompano blew me away with its gorgeous fruit selection, super fresh herbs, and all kinds of miscellaneous goodies -- all at unbelievably low prices. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and far higher quality than you'd ever expect for 99 cents. They even have great snack boxes that are perfect for on-the-go. And as a sweet surprise, we were given a free pumpkin on our way out! The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was warm and friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to Angelina, our wonderfully helpful cashier, and Anissa -- The Juice Spot Queen -- who absolutely lives up to the title. If you haven't checked out this place yet, you're missing out. Highly recommended! PS Don't forget to bring your own shopping bags!

What a great spot for grabbing fresh produce and discount kitchen staples. Depending on what's in season, you can find most everything you need for your weekly produce and cooking trip. Everyone is very helpful and willing to direct you through their large selection. There is even a small cafe/lunch/beverage area in the back where you can grab a bite to eat or a chilled drink to enjoy while you shop. This place is one of my favorite spots for when I'm not sure what I'm in the mood to cook and I need some inspiration.

Happen to be in area and decided to check this place out ! Prices are reasonable ! They have Panera bread soups and Mac and cheese for $1.00 each ! Long green onions two for $1.00 . Cauliflower one was 1.00. Usually at least 3 at other places ! Wish this place was closer to me as I would be here often! Love this place and staff and very friendly and nice ! You can buy a sandwich that they make in-house ! They have Boars lunch meat also . So many items to choose from if in area you need to check this place out !

I got two totes of food for $14! Items were so inexpensive. They had a deal on avocados, 8 for $1. Puff pastry for $2...organic brown rice for $3. Great deals on lemons and limes - 4 for $1. I'll definitely be returning weekly.

It's always a pleasure to shop at this place. There are always so many surprises and the best part is they change all of the time. So you never know what to expect. The produce is great and they also have some very wild deals on there as well. Make sure you follow them on social.

I visited this market on a Saturday and they had 50% off in all their products so it was super crowded. I spent about an hour in line to pay but it was worth the wait since they had really good deals not only for fruits and veggies but also for other good quality products like cereals and sauces. Employees were checking out super fast and at some point they were just letting people in only when customers were getting out. Don't expect to find organic produce but their conventional fruits and veggies were good quality or at least the same as any other grocery store. They just moved to a new location and had a couple days were they were given out produce for free! looking forward to visit their new location.

Make sure to look up the produce spot there are 2 locations one is where it's a bunch of industrial buildings. They truly have most produce for 99 cents with is amazing. They don't have a huge selection but do have a good amount. Lines are not long either. Will definitely be back

Inventory was neatly displayed in various bins, refrigerated and frozen items display cases. Mix of plenty shopping carts: smaller carts and standard size used Big Lots carts. Containers of fresh cut fruit were colorfully displayed, deli sandwich station and hot prepared food. In store seating area. Several associates were stocking shelves and manning different stations: customer service counter, deli, baked goods, collecting shopping carts from parking lot, etc. Upon request, associate glady checked in back for additional quantities. The quality of some batches (e.g., canteloupe and bell peppers) was at end of useful life. No quality issues with other items.

What I purchased and the prices

I saw who was the owner I'm presuming on ticktock and it sparked my curiosity so took a ride there. I must say I purchased quite a bit of fruit and vegetables and the prices were really good. Many things were half of what I usually pay in a supermarket. Everything looked fresh. The staff was lovely. I was surprised to see brick a brack and clothing being sold but a lot of markets have a variety of different things that are sold. I would absolutely return!

An absolute gem! With grocery prices skyrocketing these days, saving even a dollar or two can make a huge difference for so many people. I personally know several folks who either skip buying fruits and vegetables or purchase only small amounts because of the high prices at regular grocery stores. At the .99 Farmers Market, you can stock up on fresh produce without breaking the bank! It's incredible to shop here without worrying whether you'll have enough to cover everything. Everything is so fresh, not wilted, rotten, or dried out items in sight. From vegetables and fruits to a small selection of seafood and even canned goods, you'll find it all for just a few dollars. If you're shopping for a large family or a smaller household, making this a weekly stop could save you a lot. The staff here is welcoming and kind, checkout lines move quickly, and the aisles are spacious enough to navigate easily with a cart. It's truly a must visit spot for anyone who loves their fruits and veggies! Check out the photos I took, which include some pricing, so you can see the value for yourself.

This market was created to offer small businesses a chance to sell local products. There were two aisles of tents selling a variety of items including juice shots, sugar cane, fish dip, ceviche, conch salad, guacamole, cheese, coffee, bread, pastries, bagels, microgreens, produce, orchids, healthy desserts, jerky, Balkan Breakfast, World Famous Cakes, raw honey, jewelry, acai, and more. I was really intrigued by the microgreens as I was recently thinking of ways I could incorporate more into my diet. I was also especially happy to see a favorite vendor, Doctor Pickles. With the variety of vendors, this market is well worth checking out if you are in the area. It is also surrounded by great dining and shopping options in the Cove. If there is a drawback, it is that parking in the Cove can be a difficult experience. The tight lanes are often blocked by people waiting for a car to pull out. Also while the parking is free, you still have to register your vehicle at a parking kiosk for a two hour maximum in order to prevent people from using the Cove to leave their cars while they attend other area events.
