Living green cafe always has delicious and nutritious food. It is seasoned extremely well. It's nice when you need a quicker meal but don't want anything processed. The only downside is it is a little expensive. The meal pictured in other similar ones we have had with a plate of food is around $15 to $20. However, given the quality and what you would pay at a restaurant it is reasonable, just more than I would expect from a hot food bar. They do a great job with their coffees as well. The barista takes a lot of care in preparing each cup and makes sure the presentation is immaculate. read more

I ordered the Le Paris, which I've had many times before, and waited for my matcha and sandwich. When it arrived, the sandwich was completely burnt--the croissant was hard as a rock. I tried peeling away the burnt layer, but even underneath it wasn't good. I brought it back to the counter, and they said they'd remake it "with less toasting," as if it were just a matter of preference. Less than two minutes later, they brought out a replacement. The croissant was still burnt--just slightly less--and the egg was ice cold. The place is currently under construction, which may be affecting the kitchen, but otherwise the vibe feels the same as it always has. Update: Before I left the employee noted I had not eaten the second sandwich, came over to see what was wrong with it and offered to make me something else, when I declined he issued a refund unprompted. read more

I live a bit far from this café, but whenever I'm in the area, it's a must-stop for me! From the hot food bar (you have to try the salmon and sweet potatoes!) to the coffee bar -- their iced vanilla latte is hands down the best coffee -- everything here is absolutely delicious. Today I wished to eat a nice Hot Vegetable Plate and was right around the corner so I stopped in at approx 1:50 pm. No RUSH - lunch crowd - NONEs. Just some customers and lots of empty tables and booths. The gentleman in the picture from last visit along with 4 others who appeared to NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, was asked to speak with me and he said I told you LAST TIME we can not ever HEAT YOUR FOOD - well, that was not true - he said, never at LUNCH which from my experience was about 11am - 1:30pm. I did call him a HYPOCRITE - I never used that word before, but it was very fitting. To the OWNER - this is your baby, and you have employees that KNOW NOTHING about Hospitality & Customer Service - such a pity!!! Just so all your customers are aware - NO HEATING YOUR FOOD EVER - unless they just chose NOT TO SERVE ME. I worked for Gallo Herbert Architects when the upgrades & renovation took place for you. Generally awesome eatery but I want management to know the employees on Sunday are slackers who are less attentive than weekday employees. I should not feel like I am inconveniencing an employee when I want to select food which I plan on paying for. And employees should refill the hot water or whatever is used to keep the food hot. If I wanted cold meat I would eat leftovers for free at home. Nail the slackers or take them off the schedule. Very good location and will continue to frequent but please fix the Sunday crew who isn't keeping food hot. read more

She said I ordered a juice and then even asked another employee if the Healthy and Sexy was a juice. Wow! What a cafe . they have great coffee drinks and food. I am in Pompano beach for few weeks visiting and I was recommended this place for working. Super nice staff and a cozy place to work or hangout. They have different seating options, all cozy. The WiFi is fast and I had no issues connecting to my VPN to work. They have outdoor seating as well, WiFi works if you are seated outside as well. Will plan to visit here more when I am in the area. read more

I've always really enjoyed this little market. It's not too big and overwhelming. You can find a lot of great healthy options here that you wouldn't find at a Publix or even Whole Foods. I love the restaurant section of the place the most. The seating areas are perfect for a quick lunch break either alone or with a couple of people. Some of the tables how power outlets do you can work from here. I love the cafe/work from home feel this place has. It's really well decorated and super convenient. Low lighting as well so it's easier on the eyes! The food is actually really great. I've had the hot dishes from here and I've never been disappointed. I also have the sesame seed bun tuna sandwich. It's DELCIOUS. Overall I love this place. The service has always been really sweet and one of the workers even remembers me which is a huge plus! read more

They're doing some construction or something inside - the place looked a mess with furniture sprawled everywhere all wrapped up and cluttered. Felt like I was in someone's attic. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but as a first time customer I was so confused as to what was going on and where to go. A few operational suggestions: - There should be labels of what the hot food items are. - Similar Hot Food items should be adjacent to one another (I. E. put the roasted potatoes next to the sweet potatoes or Brussel sprouts next to the beets or chicken thighs next to the chicken breast) otherwise my eyes are everywhere and after adding one item I don't realize that hey there's actually regular potatoes down the line. Makes ordering easier. - There should be clear signage that the hot food is $8.99 per pound. As a first time customer I didn't know what was going on - is it two starches one meat for a set price? What's the deal - I was kinda lost Despite the logistical woes I still give this place five stars because two lunches were $20 (a reasonable price) and I scraped my plate. Everything was well seasoned and complimented one another. I left very satisfied with my meal. Once their construction or whatever is complete I'm sure the ambiance would be very delightful, in the meantime patio dining was enjoyable. read more

Came here today in search of fresh lychees based on a recommendation in a Facebook group. After walking around, not seeing them, I finally found someone who could answer a question. He told me that they were sold out, but might have them in the future and to call first. The fruits and vegetables are artistically arranged. Beautiful to look at. Organic. And priced so crazily high, I'd need to sell my children to afford them (and I don't have any). The same thing with the shelves of canned and packaged goods. Perfectly and neatly arranged with limited stock per item. They have a prepared food area and deli plus a food bar from which to eat in or grab food to take out. There are tables in front where some people were eating and working on their computers (or pretending to do so). If you're a vegan or vegetarian or only eat organic, this place may be for you. Frankly, I cant imagine buying a plum tomato at just under $6 a pound when at the farmers/veggie market they are only $1.29-$1.99 a pound. This place seems to be taking advantage of their niche market. read more
