Overall, it was a good place. We loved the ambiance inside. We also loved the inside decor and how the dishes were presented. This place has a very thought out concept and I appreciate attention to detail. We also liked the drinks. I particularly liked the matcha as it was not too sweet and had a rich flavor. My husband got coffee and he liked it a lot as well. Now, I am giving it a 4 and not a 5 because the food, in our opinion, was bit overpriced for what it was. This is to be expected from a place like this because you're also paying to be in a nice place. I also wasn't a huge fan of my dessert, something about the combination of orange and ricotta didn't work. I'm open to coming back again and trying other things from their menu. read more

We had a wonderful dinner at Davinci. The beef skewers were okay, while the salmon was very tasty though the sauce was a bit too sweet and heavy for me - next time I would request it without sauce. The Tom Yum soup was light, with very fresh seafood and especially delicious small mushrooms. The Greek salad was flavorful, and the highlight of the evening was the Hubble Bubble Tea - just note it comes with added sugar unless you ask otherwise. The design of the restaurant is stunning, full of red details and thoughtful touches, down to the unique plates. Service was excellent, with constant attention to our table. Atmosphere is nice, and the food was delicious. However, when I asked for something to replace bread due to my food intolerance, the waitress never mentioned that it would cost extra. She charged us $7 for half a cucumber in slices, not even organic. And $17 for a side of potatoes, plus $15 for a virgin lemonade. I genuinely felt ripped off. The liver pate and the potatoes were the same price, what a joke. Again, the food itself was good, but make sure you ask about prices before ordering. I definitely would not have ordered $17 roasted potatoes or a $7 cucumber. Seriously, at least tell the customer the cost upfront, not just add random open item charges when closing the bill. That is not professional. We quietly paid and left but left an unpleasant taste after a nice meal. read more

This restaurant opened just two months ago but has gained lots of popularity. We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and it was a good choice. The interior is as beautiful and elegant as all the dishes we tried. We tried some appetizers, main courses and a dessert. The restaurant offer complimentary coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. I chose Mushroom Oatmeal wirh truffle oil and poached egg and it was delicious! Very flavourful, very savoury and satisfying. I could never imagine to have Truffle oatmeal so I definitely wanted to try it and I recommend it for anyone who likes truffles. All the appetizers were also very flavourful and delicious. At the end we tried their Crownie dessert which is a combination of croissant and brownie. It was really interesting and surprisingly not very sweet which is a good thing! Also our waitress was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu and even providing us with a vase for the flowers. I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes. read more

Came here for drinks and apps with my husband, wanting to try this place out since it's new. Everything was absolutely amazing. We were very impressed. The place is decorated with greenery and chandeliers and they had a DJ playing some chill house beats. The appetizers were all very delicious, but the cake goes to their cocktails, which were not only beautifully presented, but soooooooo yummy. I highly recommend the Panda. I really expected more from Davinci in Hallandale Beach. The atmosphere is nice and the décor is pleasant, but unfortunately the food and service didn't live up to the hype. The pasta was overcooked and bland, the sauce overly salty, and the presentation was unappealing. We also ordered a salad, but the ingredients didn't taste fresh at all. Service was another disappointment -- it took a long time for the server to come to our table, we had to ask for water multiple times, and the food arrived with a noticeable delay. The restaurant wasn't even busy, so it's hard to excuse the lack of attention. For the prices they charge here, I expected much better quality and professionalism. There are plenty of restaurants in Hallandale Beach where you can get fresher food and friendlier service for the same or even lower price. Overall, a very underwhelming experience, and I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

Wow! We dropped by for a couple coffees and ordered the Cortado and the Vanilla Raf (pictured). Both were fantastic. The young man at the bar was attentive and very detail oriented while crafting our coffees which left us looking forward to trying out the cocktails next time we are in town. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with an abundance of greenery and classy decor. Even the bathrooms were beautiful. Amazing ambiance and all of the food we got, crab salad, duck and a couple of apps were all good bar the ossobuco which was very stringy and dry, edible but certainly not worth the price. Service was also noticeably lacking on first visit but much better the second. read more

Had to grab a server to ask for menus. Had to request sugar and then the same for salt/pepper (not a huge deal but server had a bit of an FU vibe). Some of the clientele probably active or retired gangsters. Lots of puffy lipped women on the scene. I think since we looked like regular American tourists the staff was not as attentive to our group and looked down on us a bit (that's a least the sense we got there). read more
