Etaru was everything you can ask for and more! The ambiance was incredible! Its a beautiful venue right on the beach so you can enjoy the breeze of the beach while sipping on a bubbly. I decided to order the mushroom truffle risotto hotpot. I wanted to order something authentic and different and it did not disappoint. It was very flavorful and a nice portion. I also tried the lychee martini for my drink and I enjoyed that as well. This a great place for a date night or even a family night out.

I came here for happy hour with a friend. It's in a great location, right on the beach with ocean views. We sat at the outdoor bar. They have a list of approximately 8 cocktails and wine/beer for happy hour. I had their Japanese style margarita, which was smooth. My friend had the non-alcoholic Etaru breeze, which is a sparkling lemonade with a twist, not sure what the twist ingredient is. They have limited food items on the HH menu. We had the spicy tuna cones, which has guacamole at the bottom and are delicious, just too small of a size and serving.

The most important take away: ORDER THE CAESAR SALAD!!! Guys.. I was on a birthday trip and the guys chose this place last minute thinking they were getting hibachi. While they were wrong, this turned out to be my favorite dining experience of the trip! Our server Zuzana was the sweetest person ever! She provided the best service and recommendations. I cannot express enough how much we loved the Caesar salad. We dined in on May 23rd and we're STILL raving about it! It was so fresh and flavorful. Anytime I see fresh anchovies on a menu, I want it immediately. I also got the branzino and the birthday girl got the teriyaki salmon. My fresh was delicious. The crispy chicken was good too. We had a perfect night by the beach.

Happy hour goes until 8:30pm! We ate and drank out way through the HH menu! This place was right on the ocean with beautiful views! Everything was top notch and quick. The cocktails were delicious and the variety was nice. All of the happy hour food items were so good and the staff was extremely professional. New plates for different food choices, dirty dishes didn't sit in front of us for long, and the bartender gave great recommendations. The ONLY tacky thing was all of the fake flowers. Everything else was beautiful.

Been meaning to try this place every time we are in Florida . Looked at the reviews and it seemed a place that we can go for the night. The Ambience is very nice. They have two bars one outside and one inside. We sat outside a little cool, but the views are beautiful. The ocean is right in front of you . The food was Pretty tast my . We Had a couple of drinks that were also not bad . The waitress came over and we recognized her from a prior restaurant that we went to, and her customer service is still amazing as ever kudos to Susannah . The one downfall though is the parking . It is only valet parking and it's $18 to park your car.

Ordered: Lychee Blossom Cocktail (~$16): cherry blossom infused Haku vodka, lychee, lemon Half Dozen Oysters (~$30): ponzu and pickled fresno Japanese Crispy Chicken (~$18): sweet chili, pickled cucumber, nori mayo Salmon Maki (~$19): avocado, asparagus, yuzu tobiko Crispy Prawn Maki (~$18): avocado, sweet soy, furikake wasabi mayo Yellowtail Maki (~$17): avocado, cucumber lemon miso, pickled fresno Black Cod (~$46): with yuzu miso and pickled radish; served with steamed white rice Aya's take: Etaru is a modern Japanese restaurant with a Tulum-like aesthetic and atmosphere. By atmosphere, I mean they didn't have the AC on inside and the humidity was outrageous as you can expect in Florida. At the very least, they could have had some fans going to circulate the air. I started with the Lychee Blossom Cocktail which was light, sweet, and easy to sip on during the meal. The lychee wasn't as strong or prominent as I prefer. The Oysters were super fresh but I couldn't appreciate them much because of the amount of ponzu overpowering each bite. When the Japanese Crispy Chicken came out, I wasn't expecting it to be topped with the sweet chili sauce which immediately made the crispy chicken soggy. The chicken itself was also chewy and not easy to cut or bite into. Up until this point, it was a solid 3/5. Thankfully, it was all up hill from here. All 3 sushi rolls were super fresh with great textures and flavors. The Black Cod had that sweet, savory, slightly smoky, and umami flavors I enjoyed and the steamed white rice paired so well with it. Considering the quality and flavors, my true rating is a 3.5/5 but I'll round up. It's a bit overpriced and overhyped but a decent option for the area. The aesthetic and decor was gorgeous but the lack of AC and some mediocre dishes took away from the overall experience.

This place was so cute and so yummy. Went in for brunch. They have a brunch buffet that comes with drinks. I'm not sure if they have an a la cart menu for brunch or if the buffet was the only option. But if you go, you have to get the buffet. The selection was plentiful and it wasn't super busy so not everything was picked over. With the buffet does come some meals that are prepared in the kitchen and served as regular entrees. We had salmon and a steak. Then a dessert platter to end it all. Will be back!

Recently indulged in an incomparable brunch experience here. The quality, quantity and hospitality for $80/pp far exceeds the value. The brunch includes a welcome cocktail, unlimited pours of select wines throughout (rosé, white or red), unlimited apps selections to choose from, a beautiful selection of sashimi brought to the table, one entree (a few are an upgrade for an additional $20), and a gorgeous assortment of desserts to finish. The presentation is absolute art. The interior is stunning with glorious ocean views outside. Service is on point and warm. I look forward to returning. I've been for happy hour which is also excellent but I was not expecting this level of wonder at the brunch. My entree was the miso black cod and I 20/10 recommend this whole experience.

Genuinely some of the best food I've ever had. Our server was so kind and helped us pick options based off our preferences. Right on the beach, we came at night, the lighting made it feel like a very vibey.

Cute place, very Instagram-able during the day / a whole mood at night. We quickly got our drinks and shared two good rolls of sushi. The only downside was that we ran into a couple of friends on the balcony on our way out who liked their food but couldn't seem to get their bill from the waiter. Steps to enter or use the elevator.

Fabulous! Great ambiance. Amazing food. Great views. I've dined her several times and each time the experience is wonderful. Branzino was amazing.

The sushi is always fresh here at Etaru! A little disappointed in the lunch menu, being that the BEST rolls aren't involved.. the service was great, our waiter kept it real with us about the guacamole not having any "Asian fusion" to it. And brought the extra eel sauce and spicy mayo, on time. You know how most sushi restaurants take their time when you ask for extra sauce. The rooftop is so cute for a little date. But don't go during lunch unless you want something basic. The Lunch menu does not cater to the Restaurant during dinner time! The salmon roll had plentiful amount of fish and the spicy tuna was even better. Coming again, during DINNER lol 4 stars for lunch menu options being weak and lacking Asian fusion.

You get an amazing view, great food that is all set for you with the brunch and great drinks and wines and closing it out with a desert is a win here. The sushi here is top notch and you can select the drink of choice and have good portions with the brunch pricing. Service is always great and only thing you have to worry about is parking as it is valet.

Is a place you could take a baby?

Definitely for happy hour! There are some super nice couches and sitting areas outside that are comfy and relatively private.

    Are reservations required for brunch?

Not sure if reservations are required but I would highly recommend. Amazing place by the way!

Hello, how is parking for this restaurant?

its directly on the beach, so other than valet you would need to park a bit away for the street parking. Its behind a hotel and not a ton of available parking
