The Carousel Club is a fun and unique take on the bar experience. They've transformed their bar area into a rotating carousel, decorated with all the lights and mirrors of a traditional carousel. The entrance is a zen-like pathway lined with a green canopy of palm trees. We walked into a very spacious outdoor area. There were comfortable padded lounge chairs spread throughout the space. To access these, a reservation or purchase of a hookah is needed. We headed straight to the bar to find out they do not have a traditional cocktail menu. We were told by the bartender, that she'd be able to make simple cocktails if needed. I do think that they are loosing a good opportunity to stand out with creative carousel themed cocktails. This is also a no cash bar. As we're sipping our simple gin and tonic's, looking around we noticed the games scattered around the area. There were a few table tennis and paddle games. I must comment on DJ who was spinning this night. He had such a wide range of music! From r&b, Latin, dancehall, pop, he had everyone on their feet dancing. I visited Carousel Club during Art Basel weekend for a book market fair. As someone who loves books and unique spots, this was the perfect opportunity to finally check out Carousel Club. The location itself is truly unique, and the carousel bar was the most amazing feature it really stood out. The venue was decorated with festive Christmas decor, including giant ornaments, which added to the atmosphere. The staff was super nice! We enjoyed a delicious drink, and the book event was super cute and well-decorated, set up to the right side of the building. Behind the book fair, I was surprised to see a horse race in progress watching the beautiful horses was a highlight I didn't expect. There were multiple food stations throughout Carousel Club, so it's a great place to get together with friends, try food from different vendors, and enjoy drinks in a lively, memorable setting. read more

I have been meaning to come visit the Carousel Club again for such a long time and I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, they went all out on the decor! The miracle Christmas village is amazing! It's like an attraction in itself all the Christmas decor. The carousel in the middle was fantastic but they lacked more seats around it unfortunately especially for being a slow night. Also, there was no one there on a Friday night. I expected more people to be around especially on the first night of Christmas village but there was not many even at 10:30 at night. I would like to say maybe this is an anomaly. But I can't recommend this for a Friday night spot after this experience. No vibes. Maybe Saturdays are the night to attend or it was just an off night. No one will know for sure. I know I was there around that time before so that's why I'm unsure it wasn't great. But I'd like to visit again for the Christmas season but maybe this time on a Saturday. They gave awesome Santa hats for all the guests which I love that say carousel club on them at least. I'll be back and hopefully it'll get a higher review by it being more lively! read more

Though the Carousel Club doesn't have an enclosed indoor space to allow for air conditioning, it is under a covered structure that allows for open air. The venue is spacious and includes a large deck overlooking the horse track and an eccentric carousel that serves as a fun backdrop for the bar (though sadly, inoperable). There are lots of cozy nooks perfect for meaningful conversations and casual hangouts. In addition to the carousel bar, there is an additional bar by the track where our company hosted a rum tasting pop up. I wasn't a fan of the catered entrees, but I was obsessed with the hor d'ouerves (excluding the slider). read more

Carousel Club is an automatic 5 stars. The whole place feels like a giant outdoor party you just stumble into -- lights, music, people everywhere, and the energy is always up. One of our favorite places to hang! It's a true vibe! We have visited the Carousel club quite a few times and we always have a great experience. The Carousel itself is the main bar area where you can order whatever your heart desires but my hubby and I usually go for their infamous Mojitos. That's what they are really known for. This time around we tried the Passion Fruit flavored mojito vs the traditional and they were both fantastic with good amounts of alcohol. It's hard sometimes to find a place that makes them just right and you won't be disappointed here. They also have 2 other bars you can order if it's too packed at the carousel. During the day if you visit, they even have large fans to keep you cooled down on a hot day and family/friends can have fun with the ping-pong tables and/or play corn-hole. They have plenty of space and choices where you can sit down and lounge/enjoy the ambiance. There are certain tables that require reservation. They have 3 different places to choose from in terms of food. *Spriis for Pizza which an absolute hit. We ordered the Rucola E Prosciutto - it was delicious. You can taste how fresh the pizza was. **Los Altos Taqueria for duh.. Tacos! We were also not disappointed. We ordered the Cochinita Pibil tacos. We LOVED it. Don't be shy to ask for samples of the meat. We also tried the Esquites and it was my favorite. They had a nice kick and I ordered mines with a little extra of the Tajin seasoning. We were looking for a place with lots of parking and a great vibe. This was my first time at carousel club and the place definitely exceeded my expectations . We are celebrating a retirement for about 25 people and we got a seating arrangement to host that where we had to purchase a minimum spend for that amount . it was a little bit pricey, but for the ambience and vibe I guess it made up for it. There are several food vendors which the food was really good pizza Korean, barbecue, and Mexican. There is a little seating area for eating also. Our personal bartender was very good. She always checked on us and provided mixers and a sparkler candle for the cake which was pretty cool. customer service here was very good and there's a lot of security around as well. The venue is located just on the side of the race track which is pretty cool. I wouldn't mind coming back here to look at a race. It's definitely a nice vibe indoors outdoor multiple bars and a DJ we went on a Friday night so it was not as busy, but I would definitely come back here on a regular night also just to chill and have some drinks . I wish I had more photos but I was busy mingling and wasn't able to take more photos of just the venue but the bathroom is sort trailer looking but it's a nice trailer. There are single bathrooms and also the ones where there's multiple stalls so you just have to look for them. The bar with the carousel keeps spinning, and I think it's so cool whoever designed it was a really nice touch of not seen something like that but it's a really really nice touch to the venue. They have a live DJ that was playing every genre of music from the early 00's. They had super clean bathrooms and plenty of seating. Like the Wharf, they partner with food trucks to accommodate patrons who want food. I didn'y order any food, but some friends did and the portions looked pretty good for the price, which averaged from $10-$15. Drinks are about $14-$16 which is typical for the area. Bartenders were very friendly and efficient. This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or even a fun girls night out! Brought to you by the same owners as the Wharf and other fun outdoor venues in our town, I came to Carrousel Club this past Sunday to celebrate a friend's birthday. Located adjacent to the track and Gulfstream restaurant and retail complex, you can occasionally see a horsey as you walk in. The famous carrousel is a full cocktail bar, though I didn't get to see it make a turn. Our group had a table that was well attended by the Carrousel club's team. We had a variety of bottles including Tito's Vodka and Casamigos Tequila, as well as a pretty good cranberry mixer. As far as food, there are three vendors: outposts of La Traila BBQ, Spris Pizza and Los Altos for Tex Mex. Besides the pepperoni pizza for the table, I also enjoyed a hearty burrito bowl from Los Altos with a yummy layer of melted cheese, generous helpings of shredded chicken and nice bit of heat. The soundtrack Sunday afternoon was mostly hiphop. For the party yesterday, we were allowed to bring an outside cake and boozy cupcakes but had to leave the liquor bottle gifts outside with security. Omg!! Loved it and want to go back! Biggest downfall for me personally is that it's far for me. There's lots of parking, the place is spacious do you don't feel like you're on top of people when it's packed. They usually have some type of entertainment like cirque du solei type. The carousel bar is BEAUTIFUL and usually full with people. They have 4 food trucks. If you lucky you go on a day the horses are racing. Also, it's family oriented. I couldn't get over how cool it is. A couple other bars at each end of the space, couches (you have to reserve), a grassy lounge area, food Trucks, oh, and a horse race track! Whether you're there for happy hour, a night out, or even the races, it doesn't disappoint. My favorite vibe definitely has to be brunchin' while you watch the race and listen to the live sax player on a sun Florida day! We made a reservation for the Kentucky Derby, a big table, minimum $1000 spend. Our waitress came out immediately with an attitude like she was angry She had to take a table. We asked her about drinks she basically said I'll bring you a scan tab You can order bottles and make your own. Fine. We started two bottles of the cheapest champagne. (Still $150 each) we just planned on making mimosas until our entire group arrived. She comes out with two $500 bottles and goes to pop them, thankfully someone in our group noticed and told her we didn't want them. Her response was "oh we are out of the other stuff, I didn't think you guys would care." The attitude got even worse after that. This went on for about two hours until we finally had enough and said something to the manager. Just to be clear we are a very down to earth group of people who treat servers with respect and we are not high maintenance. Thankfully, the attitude changed after that. We decided after the bottle incident that we would do the best we could to keep a running track of the big things we ordered. At the end we asked for a bill, it came to just over $1900. That includes the automatic 18% tip plus the extra 2 to 3% we added. Thankfully, we kept track, she added an additional $175 bottle of champagne, a $60 pitcher of Mojitos and I'm sure there were additional drinks that we didn't order but we didn't keep track of those. When we confronted her, she went to the manager and had the bottle refunded and told us that the manager would have to review the surveillance on Monday to be sure that additional pitcher of Mojito was not ordered. That answer would've been fine, completely acceptable, but then she went on to say with an attitude that "it's only $60...,". 60 or 600, it doesn't matter, it's principle That's close to an extra $250 that was added on to our bill , probably thought we were all going to be too drunk to notice. It's sketchy, tacky and extremely low class. Hopefully this can serve as a warning to others, I gave it two stars, because it really is a cute venue with a lot of potential read more

We wanted to get together in a cool spot the hear music, but not have it so loud that we couldn't talk. This was the perfect spot. A good portion of this outdoor venue has upbeat music, a dance floor, a large bar right underneath the carousel another on the patio, several food items to choose from and several bathrooms. We sat in the quieter patio area to the right when you walk in. This area has its own bar. This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a Wharf vibe but less packed.
