    Messy but delicious cinnamon buns
    Andrea B.

I kept hearing about the amazing cinnamon buns that they served here and since I was in the area I decided to stop by. Be careful when you're driving by because if you blink you'll miss it. It's a restaurant and they also have a section with their baked goods for sale. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I immediately walked over to the area where there was delicious baked goods in a display cafe. I had to remind myself that I had gone in there with a mission to buy cinnamon buns and to not be swayed by all the goodies they had to offer. Donuts, apple fritters and cakes were among the items trying to tempt me. The cinnamon buns came unfrosted or with frosting so I got the ones with frosting because who can pass up homemade cream cheese frosting? These were some of the best cinnamon buns I've ever had, you can taste the love they put into making them. The restaurant section was busy with people eating brunch on an early Sunday afternoon. The staff I interacted with were very nice and I look forward to going back to eat at the restaurant and to getting some other baked goods.

Great service love the pay then get served method. Great ambiance and friendly open but they don't use air conditioning here. The food was absolutely phenomenal some best pancakes I've ever had and wrap was also pretty good. Overall this hidden gem lived up to the ratings, in my experience

The bake shake is the definition of a mom and pop restaurant in the heart of Dania. It's on federal high. The parking is always good. The restaurant itself seats about 20 people on a good day but somehow there is always a place to sit. Most people do take out. But you can eat in if you want. The staff are extremely friendly. They are super helpful when you're unsure of what to choose on the menu. The menu has everything you would want for breakfast from pancakes and waffles, to breakfast sandwiches. The best part is the pastry options. They have honey buns the size of your head, cookies that take days to eat, and all types of delicious doughnuts. This place is worth it! If you're looking for a great breakfast spot with tasty treats this is the place to be!

    Loved my blueberry crumble donut.

When we visit Dania, we love to come to Bake Shack for breakfast. The people are super friendly and it's a really cute place. We absolutely love the food. Everything we tried has been delicious. One time they had cinnamon French toast and it was absolutely amazing. I still dream about it. My husband really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. We got some donuts too the other day and they were so moist and delicious. I loved my blueberry crumble donut. My husband loved his cider donuts and cappuccino. You can't go wrong with anything they have. Check them out.

I was in this part of town and decided to stop in. The place is so small but has so much character and charm. The man at the register was kind. I wanted to try their coffee but I had already had some so I'll definitely make a trip back. But I ordered honey bun and the doughboy breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was very good, I possibly wouldn't get the bread it came on again though because the top was extremely greasy. It's a very filling sandwich, I really wasn't hungry again until dinner and I went around 9 am. The honey hun was tasty although it did just reminded me of a glazed donut in a different shape. I seen a few items that I wanted to try on my next visit, so I will indeed return.

Stopped in for lunch today. I was met by a very friendly gentleman who also makes great coffee. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Oh my lord, a huge piece of fried chicken smothered in buffalo sauce and perfectly cooked fries. I took a quiet seat at the back and enjoyed my delicious meal. It is a very nice place not large by any means but so comfortable. They also have amazing pastries and doughnuts!

A local Hollywood spot worth coming! They are known for there delicious donuts, which never disappoint. This morning I came got an ice coffee, I got the salted caramel with cold foam and a breakfast burrito. Both so good and highly recommend. There is plenty of room to sit inside whether you want to stay or take to go.

From the drinks to food to friendly service, it's always on point and a satisfying visit every time. Delicious variety of drinks, pastries, and breakfast/lunch items. After getting off from my night shift, I'd come by with a friend from time to time as a pick me up before my long drive home. Absolutely recommend!

Great little brunch place that has everything! I wish it was bigger - ordering takes a bit. Finding parking and a seat is also a challenge on weekends. I think it's better as a grab and go.

When you walk in the counter to order and pay is right there to the right before the small dining area. The place was busy with a long line so I had time to choose from the many options. Ended up with the breakfast veggie wrap: eggs cheese avocado tomato and spinach, iced coffee and shared a big cinnamon roll. Got our number and found a table right away. The food was delivered to the table after we got our coffee. Everything was delicious and filling. Would love to come here again.

Super disappointed with this place…read more Pros: The potatoes and eggs were good & the hot sauce has great flavor! Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.

**Absolutely Outstanding - Best Breakfast & Lunch in South Florida!**…read more I finally made it to **The New Lighthouse Caffe** and wow -- what a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the place feels bright, welcoming, and genuinely cozy, like a little slice of Italy meets a sunny Florida café. The breakfast menu is phenomenal -- everything is made fresh with high-quality ingredients and so much care. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the French Toast were fluffy and flavorful, and their omelettes and Benedicts are next-level delicious. We also tried lunch items and were equally impressed: hearty portions, beautiful presentation, and flavors that taste like they came straight from a family kitchen. What truly sets this place apart is **Chef Carlo** and **Lise**. Chef Carlo (a true Italian master with over 40 years of experience) pours his heart into every plate, and you can taste the passion and skill in every bite. Lise is incredibly warm and attentive -- they both make you feel like family from the very first visit. Whether you're stopping in for a relaxed breakfast (served all day!), a satisfying lunch, or just a perfect cup of coffee and a slice of that legendary cake, this is the spot. Friendly service, spotless restaurant, and food that keeps you coming back. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You'll leave smiling, full, and already planning your next visit. Unfortunately, the service has been very inconsistent -- truly hit or miss. The food itself is adequate overall, and the breakfast buffet (which is included) has been good. The buffet items are fresh, and the past two mornings we've had a lovely server who was attentive and pleasant. However, other aspects of the service have been frustrating. Despite being here multiple days, staff have repeatedly struggled to pronounce a very simple name -- JILL -- instead calling out "Geo" or "Byron." At one point I didn't even realize they were attempting to call me, and we were passed over. It's a small thing, but after several days, it starts to feel careless. One evening I ordered a cheeseburger -- just cheese, well done. I clearly and politely stated (three times) no onions, no peppers, no pickles. The server didn't write it down. The burger arrived undercooked and bloody, loaded with onions, peppers, and pickles. I had to send it back. That kind of mistake is avoidable with basic attention to detail. Another night, despite the restaurant being half empty, we were told the kitchen was shutting down for an hour because it was backed up and they didn't have enough wait staff. It was a holiday weekend -- one would think staffing would be planned accordingly. As hotel guests, we're somewhat of a captive audience, so that was disappointing. Overall, the breakfast buffet has been the highlight, and when the service is good, it's very good. But the inconsistency, lack of organization, and poor communication have left us frustrated. Lesson learned -- we'll be dining elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. Oh the view is great !!!

The interior and decor is very clean and captivating. Creating the perfect environment to enjoy a nice meal or drink. The cocktail menu was very impressive! The coffee was good and the custom glass wear it was served in made for an elevated coffee experience. After browsing the menu, the Shakshuka called my name! The perfect bowl of tomato sauce with peppers and onions. The spices were fragrant and created a very balanced dish and of course the eggs were perfectly cooked and runny when you break into them.
