We are apple pie snobs and this one did not disappoint :) I can see why this is a popular place and if we lived closer I imagine that I'd stop here frequently. The 16oz iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk was perfect! The syrup didn't taste artificial, the oat milk was smooth, and there was a really good balance of espresso flavor. Honestly, better than Starbucks. The barista was so nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome. She even gave us a discount since it was our first time here. My boyfriend got a mocha latte, which was also really good. We both got bacon egg and cheese sandwiches on croissants, and everything was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly- scrambled and fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the croissant was buttery and delicious. Food came out quickly and they had a nice 80s hits playlist on. This has to be the quickest review I've made, but it's well deserved. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles. The staff is so sweet and truly makes you feel welcomed. My boyfriend has recommended this place to me a bunch of times, and since I was in the area, I finally stopped by. I ordered a horchata latte. It was perfection. You could really taste the horchata and the cinnamon. As for food, I decided to go with a breakfast sandwich. They have a board that shows you the types of bread they have, but they also literally show them to you in 3D form. They are all there in front of you. I chose a Cuban bread with egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was big. I didn't expect it to be so big, and I loved it. Just like the ones my mom used to make when I was a kid. The price for everything rounded up to $13, which was amazing. In other places, $13 is just a coffee or a sandwich, not both. They have this very big bookshelf with a bunch of books that you can read there, or if you want to take one home, you can just leave a small donation. I had heard some great things about this coffee shop in the Dania area and decided to stop by one day while I was around. It has a cute, retro and welcoming vibe and is a good place to grab a bite or coffee with a friend or just on your own. The staff was also very kind and since they have a pretty good variety of food and drinks to choose from, they're very patient and helpful with providing recommendations on what to try, the most popular items and their personal favorites. I do have to say, I was a bit underwhelmed with my iced latte. It was just okay, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it again. I personally prefer homemade syrups and the syrups they offered seemed to be store bought. I'm also particular with my milk substitutes. I did however really enjoy the empanadas. They were very tasty and I would recommend them to others and purchase them again on my next visit. I was in the area and happened to notice Resurrection Coffee as I was pulling into the Dollar Tree parking lot. I decided to stop in, and I'm so glad I did. The moment I walked inside, I felt like I had stepped back into my childhood. The décor is full of nostalgic touches, including a pay phone, old-school wall phones with the extra-long cords, a TV with a built-in VHS player, and classic retro games. It was such a fun atmosphere that immediately brought back memories. For my meal, I ordered the chicken wings with French fries along with a caramel macchiato. It came with steak, grilled onions potato sticks, tomato, and mayo served on Cuban bread. No wonder the place was jammed packed on a Saturday! They have a library where you can donate a book or make a donation for one! I was shocked at the selection they had. Another time, I will have to bring some books and browse more. Came here with a few of my close girlfriends at the start of our girls trip to Orlando -- this spot was our first stop to grab breakfast and caffeine to go! Shared with my gorlfriend half a Cuban sandwich and half a Pastrami sandwich. Both were amazing! I like how you can also choose your own bread so you really don't have to have a Cuban sandwich with Cuban bread, but given it's our first time here, I wanted to try things as is. I had a pumpkin chai latte which I liked. I tried my friend's matcha and it was a bit too sweet, but they were nice enough to add more water to dilute the sweetness. They were very patient with us in the decision process and ordering considering there were just so many good options! I want to come again but to sit down and really take in the experience dining in. The inside felt cozy with a fun vibe. The menus were plastered high above eye level but the large wording was enough for even the blindest patrons to browse and order. Hospitality is back everyone! And it's here at Resurrection Cup Coffee. I don't remember the last time I heard a customer and worker know each other's names like they were besties. The cashier was so lovely, giving me compliments and just being so warm. The server was really sweet too. I got a bacon egg & cheese on an asiago bagel + a pistachio matcha for like $14? And it was goooood ya'll. I believe the bagel was homemade? It was so warm and had the perfect chew to fluff ratio. Really aren't very many vegan or vegetarian options to start with so Avocado Toast it is...but is it really avocado toast??? No not in my opinion - Avocado toast is a avocado centralized dish...a chunky spread of natural avos or diced up avos would be appropriate...This is neither...it is store bought spreadable guacamole...please don't say this is Avocado Toast because it's not...and thinly spread might I add...Not that it would make a difference since it's not really avocado anyways it is guacamole...and not even good guacamole at that! I decided to try a breakfast wrap and a vanilla Matcha iced with oat milk. The ice vanilla Matcha was good and came in a nice size. Just stopped in and oh my goodness I would move here just for this place! Across our party of four, we got two large drinks, one small drink, a bagel and a bagel sandwhich for $28. The menu board even shows what in each drink (we had to take a picture so we would better know what to order at other coffee shops) The staff was so kind and really made the experience with our countless questions and offered amazing recommendations. Highly recommend the horchata. As someone who is not a huge pistachio person, it was really good with the sweet foam on top!! The matcha was also really good and more on the sweet side. They have a whole library that you can read in store, or on the amazing covered patio space, or donate to take it home. Genuinely cannot say enough good things about this lil shop. If you live in the area and haven't visited, you're missing out, I wish we had a place like this back home. Had a quick brunch here on a Friday afternoon! They do close a bit early for people coming for lunch on the later side (close at 1:23) but we squeezed in! Most of the pastries were gone but we got a beef empanada and a Nutella donut. The empanada was very nice and flaky with tomato-based beef filling. I would skip the donut- it tasted stale, and I didn't love the balance of the white frosting with Nutella inside. The dirty chai lattes were veryyy sweet, too sweet for us. My husband got an extra shot as they notified us that the standard is one shot of espresso per drink. The price we felt was very good and fair - only $25ish for the two of us to get a bfast item and latte. He got a breakfast sandwich on sourdough with bacon eggs and cheese, nicely toasted. I was at the Fort Lauderdale Airport at the crack of dawn when I decided to check out Resurrection Cup Coffee. The only places open that early are coffee shops. Ha. You can just tell because of how much she cares about the guests. I loved Alice's calm and cool demeanor. She was incredibly kind and helpful. I asked how long Resurrection Cup Coffee has been open and funny enough, they were celebrating 3 years on October 4th!!! Yayyyyy. Congrats on the anniversary Alice! I ordered the pumpkin spice latte. They have a good variety of bread options for their sandwiches including croissant, ciabatta, sourdough, and multigrain. I went with the croissant, which was delicious. Their coffee is solid too. Came here to meet with a friend. To start off, wish they had more tables/chairs inside, since it was all occupied when we arrived and it was hot to sit outside. Aside from that, the staff was very friendly from the lady when we ordered our food/drink, to the guy who delivered our order. We got the Oreo and Nutella croissant. I got the matcha frap, blended. Not sure which drink my friend got. The croissant had a perfect, flaky crust on it and the filling was not too sweet. It was very delicious.
