Amazing and rapid service by our waiter Regina and other staff. This is a nice American-rustic diner that's a great choice for family breakfast. They have a wide and unique range of options. The huevos rancheros and cookie dough French toast were very tasty highly recommend. The total came out to $96 for 4 people (gratuity included)

The banana Dulce de leche French toast was amazing. Want to try more flavors. The untoasted breakfast was your basic eggs and turkey bacon, good. The potatoes had seasoning and were tasty. The hangover burger wasn't great. Egg wasn't runny and they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked so it came out very well done. Fries also had no seasoning.

We went to Untoasted randomly today while hungry after a busy morning. We hadn't heard of the place before, but thanks to Yelp, we discovered it. Overall, we had a good experience. We ordered the Steak and Eggs and the Chicken and Waffles. The food was decent. Nothing special, but it got the job done. Considering Untoasted isn't necessarily a dinner restaurant, the steak was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, we didn't get the eggs cooked the way we ordered them, which made them hard to enjoy. They were very runny. We also wish the chicken had been more tender, as we found it a bit chewy. The waffle tasted great, and the poached egg was excellent as well. Overall, the experience was fine. The servers were super nice, attentive, and welcoming. We sat inside, everything was clean, and the food came out very quickly. We just wish it had been made with a bit more love.

Brunch always makes me happy and Untoasted offers breakfast, brunch and lunch daily! This place has something for everyone from egg benedicts, shrimp and grits, omelettes, waffles, to sandwiches and of course , mouthwatering french toasts and pancakes. I also recommend their iced lattes especially the Oreo and they also have adult beverages like mimosa, bloody marry, wine, prosecco and more! Great service and quality food. Perfect for families, friends or even solo. Plus plenty of free parking.

On arrival was greeted and door held open , we were just getting off an cruise and saved our appetites for this meal. We were seated promptly and we already new what we wanted . Ambiance gave brunch venue with good music booth or table seating was an option. Food arrived hot , i mean with steam , we were excited . The first bite of chicken was full of flavor . The eggs soft scrambled and a pretty golden yellow. The bacon crisp and tasted wonderful. The French toast was and sweet savory dish and pleasing to the eyes . Overall just say that was an delicious flavorful meal and I will definitely recommend this venue for brunch to anyone cruising in out Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Yelp thanks for this gem , I feel like we had the golden ticket from the Willy Wonka Factory.

Good food, good service, nice restaurant. Really enjoyed our breakfast there. We were in town visiting and had no idea where to go for a late late breakfast. Glad we found them on Yelp.

Good food and service. The shrimp and grits was truly the best I've ever had. We also got the steak and eggs which were good, I would say the steak was on par for a breakfast place. All the employees here work diligently to ensure an amazing experience for customers. I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants a casual, homey feeling breakfast or brunch.

I hadn't been here in a few years and it used to be one of my favorite spots. Broke my heart to see how this place used to have a line out the door, but when I went Sunday for brunch it was pretty empty. The place used to be great for brunch, with great music and an overall good vibe. We ordered the chicken and waffle Benedict and it was missing some flavor to it, but it wasn't bad. I had to send the French fries back because they were not fully cooked in the middle. The dulce de leche latte was great though! I love places that have lattes that look like the one I ordered (see pictures). Not sure if they were expecting a big party or anticipated a large crowd to come in before brunch was over, but the service felt rushed. However, the server was attentive and did check on us. Overall, I would recommend for brunch because the menu has delicious options and good coffee flavors and good customer service.

Our family decided to go for our annual New Year's Day breakfast. We were very pleased with our choice. Our server, Regina was very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious! We will definitely add this to our go-to place for breakfast!

Classic French toast w/Strawberries and Chantilly cream 10/10 (I do however wish there more strawberries)

Great experience. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome from the host. The inside was clean, lots of natural sun light and diverse seating between booths and tables. The French toast with the Chantilly cream was AMAZING! 10/10!!! The Oreo latte was more sweet than coffee.

The service was slow in the beginning but then they came over frequently. There was barely any music on and there were several families eating there. The food was not really good. And overpriced.

Everything we had was genuinely good and we'd definitely come back. First things first: the pancakes are HUGE. Seriously, if you're ordering one as a side, know that one pancake is easily enough for two people to share. We also tried the Secret Lemonade -- and for anyone wondering, "secret" basically means it's made in-house. It was fresh and tasty, but definitely on the sweeter side, so just be prepared if you don't typically like very sweet drinks. I ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich and really loved the flavor. The chicken was well seasoned, the biscuit was great, and overall it was delicious. My only small critique is that the portion feels a little small on its own, so I think it would be nice if it came with a side or something accompanying it. My husband is plant-based, and we appreciated that there was an option for him. He ordered the avocado toast along with a modified salad from the menu, which worked out well. Overall, solid spot with flavorful food.

Fluffy and sweet and not dry. Although I enjoyed my fried chicken biscuit enough to eat it all, it fell a tad short of my expectations. The biscuit and chicken were both lacking volume, the biscuit not fluffy enough and chicken not meaty enough. I couldn't pick it up without it all just crumbling apart. Menu claimed homemade biscuits, but maybe not made fresh that day? Chicken was wide but thin so every bite was just way too much breading and very salty. I would order something else next time. It's a teeny but charming restaurant that was packed when we got there. Luckily we were first on the list so got a table in 5 minutes. If there had been more people and a longer wait, downside is there's no room more than 2 people to stand and wait inside, and it was way too hot to have waited outside. Parking lot has plenty of space around back. All in all, it was a fun and cute spot to take my old folks for a family meal.

It was the sign underneath that read, "Too tired to cook today?" that made us take notice. Looking at the online menu we found that it was not only a who's who of Latin dishes of different nationalities, but they also served bar fare - chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas, etc. Not knowing what their specialty was, we never committed to it. But today was one of those days where we felt like something different and we took a chance. The gamble paid off big. The menu was all over the place, so not knowing what direction to go in, I addressed the waiter who was all too ready to help. He pointed me to some of his faves: the Bandeja Paisa, Lomo Saltado, and Ropa Vieja. I'd had my eye on the Lomo Saltado, a popular Peruvian stir fry dish. The Bandeja Paisa is Colombian, and the Ropa Vieja - Cuban. I asked him what the nationality of the ownership was, when he revealed it was Colombian. I was immediately skeptical of ordering the ropa vieja - being half Cuban, I could not fathom the idea of a Colombian-owned restaurant pulling this off. So Joe took one for the team there. The waiter assured me that everything he has tried has in fact been delectable. But hey, what else is he supposed to say? But no, he assured me these were not marketing words, but words of experience. So I went for the Lomo Saltado which was served with black beans and rice, and french fries. He didn't hesitate to vouch for the black beans... I think he sensed my Colombian skepticism. Joe had replaced his fries for sweet plantains, so I took his cue and substituted my fries for tostones. But, not before warning the waiter that I would be particularly particular about the quality of my favorite plantain dish. He gave me a confident nod - so I played along. Joe's dish came out a few seconds before mine, and being the impatient carnivore that I am, I (let's say borrowed) his ropa vieja before he had a chance to pick up his fork. I was very pleasantly surprised. On par with any old clothes I have tried at any Cuban restaurant... and even better than some, albeit in longer strands than I've experienced. However, extremely juicy, full of flavor and tender. Then came my Lomo. I'm a first-timer, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fan-tastic. A bit charred outside with a juicy medium innard that cuts like butter, and to my relief, deceivingly tender. The lomo napped on a bed of sautée-charred veggies whose sweetness was a nicely balanced contrast to the savory meat. The black beans were definitely on point and seasoned with Colombian love. And those ten-ton-tostones!!! By far the thickest fried medallions I've had, but with a brutally loud crunch and still a real easy chew. And unlike John Travolta in a black T-Bird jacket, totally Greaseless. Often times, tostones of this variety are tough and as chewable as week-old yellow paper mache. Nope, these are some of the best tostones I've had in a couple of years. But by far the best of their kind. I also borrowed one of Joe's sweet plantations which once again left no trace of greased lightning and were rendered a perfect dark brown with a nice and plush sunshine yellow inside. The portions were more than generous and the price was comfortably modest. I expressed my deepest gratitude to our waiter for his patience and his spot on recommendations. He also swore by their burger which he had just sampled for the first time and which is made partly with Colombian chorizo and served with a side of chimichurri. Chorizo and chimichurri for little cha-ching.... I'm sure I'll be chowing on that real soon. Food Corner is a cornucopia of Latin influences, and so far, it's also a master of two of them. (We were too excited to take photos)
