Walked in a large beautiful bar to one side (which was full) and tables on the other. We decided to eat outside on a large high top as we were a party of six. The large fan outside kept us cool. To start I ordered the watermelon sangria which was amazing and favorable also from 4 to 6:00 they have happy hour to dollars off drinks. Second time I'd been here , last time was for lunch and I had the wedge salad and it was good . Supper was delish , we started with a glass of white wine and a mojito. Ordered one of the specials which was escargot , it was delicious with arugula and toast . Then we had a prosciutto pizza , again delicious. My friend found this place and we decided to check it out. We came here on a Saturday night around 8 PM. It wasn't crowded. We were able to get a table right away. It was only three of us. It's not a huge or big establishment. It's pretty tight inside so if it was crowded, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable sitting inside, but they also have outside seating. We ordered the duck wings on the appetizer menu. They were just OK. I wouldn't order it again. It's not that it was bad but they need to pump up the flavor or seasoning on the wings. We also ordered burgers. I had the boar burger and my friend had another type of burger that I can't remember the name maybe I'll remember it later. The boar burger was good, but once again I feel like they are not bringing the flavors to the meat. My friend enjoyed his burger, but he tried the boar burger from us and he said our burger was better. Overall cool place. Our server was really nice. Her name was May I think. The Barr selection isn't that wide the tequila that I wanted they didn't have and I think I asked for three different tequilas and they didn't have any of them. I frequently visit Tipsy with a group of friends, and up until last night, my experiences have always been positive with excellent service. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing and upsetting. I visited alone last night and was seated immediately; however, my server did not come to my table for approximately 10-15 minutes. When he finally arrived, there were no utensils or water provided. He apologized and took my order, and although the delay was frustrating, I initially brushed it off. After another 15 minutes, my food and beverage arrived. While eating, I finished my drink and wanted to order another, but my server was nowhere to be found. What made the situation worse was that the hostess checked on nearby guests, asking if they needed anything, but completely ignored me despite clearly seeing my empty glass. At that point, I felt uncomfortable, disrespected, and honestly disgusted by the experience. I finished my meal, asked for my check, and left without tipping because the service was unacceptable. I strongly feel the treatment I received was racially motivated and blatantly discriminatory. As someone who has supported your establishment regularly, this experience was deeply disappointing. Because of how I was treated, I will not be returning. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the issues surrounding customer service and how guests are treated. read more

Great first visit! The food was delicious -- my husband loved his steak and my Italian sausage broccoli pizza was surprisingly good. Drinks were strong and tasty. Our server, Chino, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. The ambience was nice too. I stumbled across this spot on my way to my favorite kava bar after a day at the beach. It's a causal pub that has a laid back vibe. I've been twice and had good, friendly service each time. Everyone is pretty chill and accommodating. For starters I tried the goat cheese apricot and thyme croquettes and the lamb gyro croquettes. We were a party of ten, we went to dine at The Tipsy Boar. We sat outside, so our large group could see and hear each other. The inside, however seems like it's more of the place to be. It seems like we were forgotten where we were, there were other patrons also sitting outside. Eventually a waitress came out with a notepad and a pen, and asked "what would you like?" I told her "some menus please". None of us received menus. We got a few of the Crudiola Pizzas to share, also the Green Apple & Grana Padana Salad with Shrimp. This pizza was very tasty. It was a thin crust with Mascarpone, making it very cheesy and decadent. It was generously topped with prosciutto, arugula and more cheese. The salad was very fresh, it had a lot of potential, but it was very dry. I tried tracking down the waitress to add some dressing, but she never came. My Raspberry Pomegranate Sangria was a great choice. It was sweet and paired with my pizza very well. I feel like if we were seated inside the service would have been better. Tucked just off the very much improved Hollywood Blvd. this little gastropub has literally some of the best bar bites I've ever had. The wings are phenomenal, both chicken and duck. Many people had recommended this spot so we finally decided to check it out. Stopped by around lunch time on a Saturday so it wasn't too packed, also it was raining so we dined indoors. I wanted to try a variety of options so I got a lot of smaller plates/appetizers. I ordered the chef special of ceviche on tostones with guacamole with mussels and the goat cheese croquettes (came with marmalade on the side). Everything was pretty ok in flavor, I've had better tasting ceviche and mussels. The croquettes were good, definitely unique flavor. As far as the blackened mahi mahi, it did the job. I appreciated the mango salsa on top and the lime elevated the dish. Our food took quite some time to come out but our server was friendly. Seems like a good spot for someone who likes beer or wants to meet up for happy hour with friends. I was expecting more just based off how much people raved about this place. At dinner last evening, one of your regular patrons--who was seated at the first table near the pizza oven, with his back against the wall and long hair--was extremely loud and used frequent profane language. This continued for approximately thirty minutes and, to our disappointment, no owner or staff member asked him to moderate his behavior, despite other customers being present, including my wife. I do not understand why management or an employee did not intervene. We are also regular customers, but we felt uncomfortable enough that we rushed through our meal and drinks and left early. I went Saturday night with a small party and from start to finish it wasn't a great night. We were seated on the patio and couldn't even get anyone's attention for 30-40 min . Finally our server Glenn came around and I wish I could say it got better but it didn't. We normally have him as our server and he can be pretty snarky and we're not thrilled to get him again. He took our drink orders ( 2 mixed drinks and waters for the table. It took forever to get those out and half the table missing drink. We get to order food ( and he questions one of my diners when they ordered a salad along with their main dish ) and our order also comes out wrong and missing a dish and he barely checks on us. We spilled one of our waters accidentally and thankfully another nice server came out and gave us napkins but we had to share literally 1 water for our table until Glenn finally checks on us and it was stilll forever until we another round of drinks for our table. After our 2 and a half hour long dining experience we were ready to go and it took a while for him to get us our check and we were still missing items that they wanted to charge us for. I'm not sure what's going on here and our service is normally better but glen just wasn't having a good night as it seemed he was overwhelmed with his tables. I ordered a pizza ($14) with prosciutto, cheese, etc thinking it would be a personal pizza but nope, it was enough for 2 meals! My BF ordered a smoked old fashioned for $14 which is pretty much unheard of at that price. All of the food we saw come out looked great and ours tasted great! Its a little bit divey but nicer. Took 15 minutes for the server to come to our table, the martini was the worst I've ever tasted and after waiting 45 minutes for our food it came out wrong. Our server never came to check on us so we had to go to the hostess stand to let them know we are leaving. The service was slow out on the patio however. They have a good beer selection. We ordered Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and the Mac & Cheese with Pork. They came out at the same time and I like when my appetizer and entree came out separate. The sweet potato waffle fries were bland and tasted like something you'd pull out of your freeze and bake in your oven. The pizza is honestly some of the best pizza we've ever had (and I'm a pizza snob), my husband said that both the boar and regular burgers were unbelievable, GIANT and the lobster mac & cheese is so delicious and creamy and just has tons of sauce and lobster. The chicken Panini was huge and the chicken had so much flavor, it must've been marinated and such a flavorful marinade because it tasted great.
