The food was delicious, it reminded me of the salchipapas I ate in my neighborhood in Peru and the completely homemade and delicious creams. In addition, the burgers have a totally original flavor. Add to that the attention and good vibes of the people who work there, making it a totally pleasant experience. I will definitely return on my next visit to Miami. Omg!!! Giovanna and Monica were absolutely amazing referring me to the best items on the menu and keeping me intrigued with peruvian street food! When I tried this place I was looking for a burger and their classic did not disappoint! It was absolutely GINORMOUS, juicy flavorful and had lil pepitas on it. The signature sauces were all a special surprise, my favorite was the roco, spicy and delicious! Giovanna let me know that back in Peru the roco sauce is extremely spicy but we would not be able to tolerate it LOL. It's on the corner, nice indoor theme and great customer service! read more

Discovered Tru Point, a new Peruvian-style spot. We were in the area for a Yelp event. The Star Wars decor adds a fun vibe, and the friendly staff made our visit enjoyable. Tried the burger and Tru point salad - both were fantastic. The perfectly cooked burger now ranks in our top 5, and the fresh salad was a refreshing choice. My wife and we're walking in downtown Hollywood and noticed that this new Peruvian restaurant opened up. Firstly, the completely remodeled this establishment as it was a smokey bar. The bright paint and Start award theme of the restaurant have shined a brand new light and feels inviting to customers. We decided to try it the next day. When we walked in we were greeted by the staff and they explained where to get menus, pay, and pick up the food. My wife order a classic medium cheeseburger and I ordered a royal medium rare burger. I love a burger with a fried egg!! We also ordered a basket of fries, yucca fries, and two bottles of water. Once we ordered we took a seat waiting for the bell to be rang that would signify our order was ready. Once we heard the bell we picked up our order, and they will assist if you need it. We noticed that they had a few different sauces that you can use on your burger. I used an olive mayo, which was really good. When we got to the table, we dug into our food and it was silent because our burgers were juicy!!! My burger was cooked to the exact temperature and so was my wife's. The yucca fries were straight foward, crispy, soft on the inside, and popped with a special sauce that they use. The only critique is that the fries were crispy, but just needed a tad bit of salt on them; but using a spicy mayo sauce would do it justice too. Overall, this place is definitely a step up from the prior establishment as it looks fresh, clean, and vibrant. The food has reasonable prices and it super delicious. This is casual dining so a place to hang and relax. You could have a casual date here as well.My wife and I definitely will be returning. read more

Beast of a burger; seriously it was huge. The meat tasted fresh but didn't have any seasoning, which is fine when you're going for a classic cheese burger. I was disappointed that the cheese wasn't melted so it didn't help much. The tamale had sliced chicken breast which was a surprise, I thought they would have gone for their pulled chicken. The tamale was also rather large and lacking flavor. The place itself is incredibly clean but it seems to be missing something- I'm not sure what-but we decided the vibe wasn't right and opted for take out. The service was great! The server had great suggestions without being "pushy". We will for sure go back and try some of their other options, exceptional value, especially for the quality. read more
