Friend just moved to the area and we noticed how close it was ... walking distance. We were intrigued by the description of Asian/Mexican fusion so we walked over. The location is great. This area is very up and coming and surrounded by a plethora of other businesses. I will say the place is very very small. Limited seating. But the decor is very modern. The service was decent. Nothing outstanding. The menu is small but the food....honey....it was great. Portion size is not a problem. They had me at the homemade chips. I will say that if you like spicy make sure to ask for extra spicy bc idk who they were trying to fool with what the consider spicy. We went for lunch, place is small and clean, there was not very many people, my wife ordered the squash kale mushroom bowl with a lychee, strawberry lemonade she was happy with her order, i ordered the beef short rib taco and the pollo asado quesadilla with a horchata drink, the beef short rib taco was very good, the pollo asado quesadilla was just ok, the horchata was ok. The service was ok just as expected, the restaurant is small and minimal modern. Honestly you can get more and better mexican food for much better prices in many other places in the area, but this is fusion mexican asian restaurant with a very limited menu, maybe this is why is pricey. read more

Came to visit my hometown and tried out this new spot with my mother. We were coming back from the beach, and found this cute little place on yelp. The employees were all nice, felt like family which is a hit or miss in Miami, ESPECIALLY after covid if we're being honest. The food was delicious! The chips and guac were irresistible, i enjoyed my moms carnitas burrito (actually wanted to eat all of it haha) I took a bite and everything together just meshed so well! I ordered the beef short rib taco which was wonderful! And the pollo asado taco which was good. The chicken quality and seasoning was amazing, however i couldn't enjoy eating just an onion & chicken taco. The restaurant is nice and clean. We can't for Friday lunch service and it's not too busy at all. We h got our food promptly. The parking downtown was a lil bit of a pain. There are more availability along the side street next to the train track. The yuzu plan was my favorite item from every thing that we tried. I really enjoyed this tiny restaurant. The vibe is on point. I think the attention to detail on the glasses and the bar is something that makes it a really cute spot to go to. Just one block south of Hollywood Boulevard, this small Mexican-Asian Eatery packs a big punch. From their delicious vanilla horchatas to their bowls, you are sure to find something you will like. As soon as I was seated I was greeted and brought a small glass of cold water (big points!) I got chips and salsa to start. It came with homemade chips that, although in the thicker side, were freshly fried and salted. The small wooden tray also included red salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was fresh! A little more lime for my taste but delicious nonetheless. The menu offers tacos, quesadillas, bowls. But some feature an Asian twist so why not try something different? I went for the tuna crudo bowl. The bowl came with cilantro-lime rice, yellowfin tuna, kimchee sauce, cucumber, sliced avocado, cilantro, fresh jalapeños and cumin-lime crema. The tuna is the clear star of this dish! Now I need to try their tuna crudo tacos!! I also ordered a side of their black beans which needed just a pinch of salt but other than that, they were very good. Service was friendly, prompt and courteous. There was so much meat on that taco. And it was very flavorful. The tuna taco was also very flavorful which is why I'm happy I ordered two. Had 4 hours to waste before heading back to LA so decided to try out this place. I ordered the braised short rib bowl and it was 10/10. Came out steaming hot and very flavorful. Hubby ordered the braised short rib quesadilla and he devoured it without even sharing with me. It was that good. Also the chips and salsa as app but what you must try is their passion fruit margarita 100/100. We ordered 2 rounds and needed to walk away before ordering another. If there were zero stars, I would put zero stars on this review but the lowest that I can put is a one star. I have never in my life been treated more disrespectful and with such little regard as myself and our VIP client were treated at this establishment tonight. We were willing to not only spend several hours here with expenses of food and beverage with no limits and they have literally screamed at some of the guests that we have. There is not enough terrible and horrendous things that I can say about this place. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. They have been truly awful. If there were zero stars that I could give this place, I would give it and if there was a department that I could report such disgusting service too I would do that as well. read more

However I was gladly surprised by Oaxaka. The menu was great and the food was delicious. Loved the avocado it was very rich and chips were crispy. I ordered to go the carnitas bowl and a chicken burrito. Everything arrived hot and the food was tasty and had a great presentation. I was surprised by the service and the proper care for packing. I had two tacos with the cilantro lime rice, black beans and a side of guacamole, and my daughter had the ahi tuna burrito with avocado. The burrito was huge and the tuna was fresh and delicious. Visited yesterday around 4, and we sat outside. Outdoor seating is HOT, unless you sit at the little outdoor bar area, which is cute. Maybe an umbrella or two can be placed outside? We were semi-shaded by a palm tree, but our friends were in full sun. We all ordered bowls for our meal, and mine was delicious! I ordered the pollo bowl with guacamole, cilantro, no cheese, no crema. My husband's order and one of our friend's orders came out incorrectly, but they fixed it pretty quickly. Also they brought me more cilantro, because I barely saw it on my meal, just a few pieces on the cilantro lime rice. The prices here are pretty good, compared to other places in the area.
